it was all very nice. Clara welcomed us very well, left us a little something, was always available and always very quick and kind to respond. The house overflowed with love in every corner. Very clean, cozy and with everything you might need for a short or long stay... I definitely recommend it..

Manuel and his son Vasco welcomed us the day of our arrival. Vasco was in contact before we arrived and had ensured that we were well informed about how to get there, if we were okay with a self-check in, what we might like to see and do during our stay. The house was immaculately clean, with all that you might need for your stay, from condiments in the press, to a welcome basket of milk, bread and goodies, to shower and beach towels and toiletries. While you hear every plane landing and taking off this mostly happens during the day, you also hear the birds in the morning and evening. The house is situated at the edge of the city and you are a short walk into the countryside. There's a stunning cliff walk 20mins from the house where you can either walk to the village at the of the base of the cliff or along the top. Lynda's coffee shop is a minutes walk away and we loved having our coffee in the morning sitting outside looking out to sea. You'll need a car to explore all the island.

Our stay was great! The home is in a quiet neighborhood high on the clift's edge with views of the ocean. We enjoyed watching the airplanes fly by. Vasco was super helpful. He sent a long list of activity and restaurant suggestions and we found some unique spots thanks to the list! The island is so beautiful! I highly recommend this place and a visit to the island. The locals were friendly. The location of the house was a good location to easily visit any part of the island since it is located in the middle of the island.

This was a very clean organized place. We extended our stay from 3 days to 6 days! It was a very comfortable apartment with easy free parking and grocery stores close by, too. Highly recommended apartment!
