Absolutely fabulous house for a family traveling with children. The pool is wonderful, and the central location on the island made traveling to sites a breeze.

We can’t say enough great things about Miguel’s place. The house was perfect for our group of four—a beautiful, peaceful space to relax and recharge after long days of walking and hiking. The photos honestly don’t do it justice; it’s even more stunning in person. The sea pool is absolutely incredible—one of the highlights of our stay. We would return in a heartbeat!

The kids loved the pool, was quiet place, and lots of space. the beds were comfortable, the location was good. the view from the kitchen was fantastic.we loved that we had three showers and toilets.

One of the best Airbnbs we had so far! Extremely clean and comfortable, with great outdoor space with heated pool and cozy areas to hang out. We appreciated easy and fast communication with the management and helpful recommendations for the local restaurants. Hope to come back again!

Henrique was great and very helpful. the place is great, spacious, well equipped. the location is a bit on the quiet side. great if you want to calm down and relax. however, we found the east side of the island to offer more for us (food, hotsprings, hikes)

Your house was lovely; the beds were super comfortable and we loved the surroundings , the terrace and the amazing swimming pool!!

Virginia and her team did an excellent job of hosting us with an easy check in as well as great communication. The space was clean and very close to restaurants/attractions. Highly recommended for future stays.

Highly recommend this Airbnb! The photos don’t do it justice, I thought it was nicer in person. Great large, clean, modern space that accommodated 9 people very comfortably. Host provided a guide with local food and activity recommendations, public services as well as transportation. Host also provided washer, dryer and iron, plenty of kitchen necessities, towels for bathing as well as outdoor use, which were swapped out with clean towels twice a week. Air conditioning was also a plus to keeping us comfortable during our stay. Location was fairly close to the highway for easy traveling as well as about 5-10mins to the heart of Ponta Delgada. Would highly recommend this Airbnb and would definitely stay here again in the future!

Beautiful view, enjoyed my coffee on the balcony in the mornings overlooking the ocean. Would not suggest this accommodation if someone in your party has difficulties with stairs. Was perfect for the 4 of us!

A great and unique place to stay! Beautifully maintained. Given the age of the house, the wind can be heard/felt on windy/stormy days. This takes some getting used to. Please know that the house is situated in a beautiful park, with keys to access the park after opening hours. On the lake you can use kayaks, and there are also kids bikes in the shed.

We cannot say enough about how much we loved this place! The host was amazing and extremely accommodating. The house is beautiful with SPECTACULAR views. Everything was close either walkable or a short drive. Did I say that the host was amazing yet!???!!!! Bruno made our stay comfortable and relaxing. He is one of the best hosts we have ever stayed with.

Andre has a beautiful home and the location is amazing at the edge of the lake in Sete Cidades! The views from the livingroom, dining room and front porch were amazing of the lake and surrounding mountains! There are many hiking paths to walk to and/ or bike to and/or drive your car to. We just loved all the wood tables, countertop and carvings. Beautiful! The home was well appointed, comfortable and perfect on the lake! There is a very delicious bread kitchen to get fresh out of the oven bread. We were provided with an amazing welcoming basket of goodies that included yogurts, granola, milk, butter, local rosemary honey, local sweet rolls, local pineapple, apples, oranges, local cheese and a bottle of wine!!!! And to top it all off there are bikes and kayaks to use! Definitely recommend staying at Andre’s home!

The stay at the Hydrangea House was amazing. Not just the position of the house with view on the ocean was amazing but also the location on the island. The whole island was quickly reachable by car from here. Definitly would recommend.

Great place to stay in Furnas. Easy walking distance to everything. Very comfortable and well-decorated inside, with everything necessary to feel at home. Decor inside felt appropriate for place. Not one but two coffee machines, a pod style and an espresso machine! Would stay here again.

Convenient location to reach every part of the island, with essentials like bakery, convenience store and cafe at walking distance. Best part was coming back to the peaceful garden after a day of adventuring.

I stayed here for one night only during a 25 hour layover so it wasn’t a long stay but it was comfortable. Short drive to and from the airport which was great and I enjoyed walking to and from the downtown area to see more of what Ponta Delgada had to offer. The host was responsive and very helpful. The house was clean and made for a comfortable stay.

This is the quietest AirBnb I have ever stayed at. I’ve never slept more comfortably in my life! It’s nearly silent at night and the bed and pillows were so comfortable — even better than home! It’s a cute, modern space with everything you need in the kitchen for a short stay (including a washing machine), and a quaint, private outdoor space. It was a €12 taxi ride from the airport (only took 15 minutes to drive), and it’s in an extremely walkable location. It’s not at all loud from traffic, tourists, or nature sounds, but yet still no more than a 15-minute walk to the botanical gardens, the “downtown”, the mall, and many great restaurants. There are multiple grocery stores close by as well. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Ponta Delgada. Rui (the host) is so sweet as well and he was able to accommodate early check-in and late check-out for us. You won’t be disappointed staying here!! 10/10, A+, 5 stars!

The place was perfect for us. We felt at home immediately. We were impressed by how much space the place has to offer. You can easily fit two couples or a family with kids. It was very clean throughout the accommodation. Tara gave us detailed instructions, and we had no issues whatsoever with the check-in process. During our stay, we were even offered fresh towels and sheets. Walking to the center of the city takes about 30 minutes, which is completely fine if you enjoy walking. The neighborhood doesn’t have much to offer, so it might be good to have a rental car. There is plenty of parking space on the street. You will also have a beautiful view from the first floor, and if you’re lucky, you might get the opportunity to pet some cats that come around.

We had a great stay at Nuno’s place! The apartment was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. Nuno was an amazing host—very kind and super quick to respond to any questions. The only downside was the noise from the street; there were parties with loud music almost every evening until 1 or 2 a.m., which made it hard to sleep at times. Still, if you’re okay with a lively atmosphere, this is a fantastic spot!

Paulo was an amazing host. The property is beautiful and clearly handled with love and care. The views are stunning. From one side there is an ocean view and the other, a countryside view. Everything was clean and we had ample supplies. The hot tub was a nice bonus! Parking was across the street and very easy. Paulo is super responsive. I got sick and couldn’t find a pharmacy open as it was Sunday. He was at our door within 20 mins with a few options of medicine. I took it and was feeling better within 30 mins. The island was beautiful and if we return, we will definitely be staying with Paulo!

Tony and Shawnette’s place was fantastic! The house was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped—perfect for both relaxing and spending time together. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, with no surprises. The hosts were outstanding—extremely responsive, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. Highly recommend both the home and the hosts!
