Absolutely lovely stay! Highly recommend for a solo getaway to the DC area. Easily walkable to the metro and a nice quiet place to walk around.

Great place to stay if you're a solo traveler! Close to a grocery store, if you need it, and within walking distance of a couple of bus stations.

It's a great cozy place to stay as it says. The place is very close to the busline, which can take you to the train for the city. Howevr, I have 2 minor things: the path from street to the place where you stay is not ideal, requires climbing down the stones placed on the slope. Also, if you are a tall person, your knees might touch the bathroom cabinet while using the toilet.

Molley was an amazing host. Would definitely recommend her as host to anybody visiting DC.

I had a short stay at Furhat’s place. Very convenient location to access downtown DC and arlington area. Furhat is a welcoming host and easy to communicative. Definitely recommend this place.

My father stayed with Carole 4 nights and even if he doesn’t speak English she was really reactive and helpful with the translator. She was really nice with him and the place was very impecable I really recommend it Thanks Carole for everything

Anupam was very accommodating and the room was comfortable and clean. Instructions were easy to follow and I appreciate that supplies in the common areas were labelled. If u r looking for an inexpensive really nice place to stay, consider this place.

Uche’s place exceeded our expectations! The building and unit were clean and quiet, with all amenities as listed. He went above and beyond with thoughtful touches! If we had forgotten anything, he had already thought of it! He provided robes, slippers, and a large umbrella for inclement weather in addition to a comprehensive digital reference for the unit and local spots. We would recommend to anyone visiting Alexandria!

The place was very cozy, felt right at home. The neighborhood was quiet yet minutes away from Dc sights. Everything was well thought out and details covered from kitchen items to bathroom amenities. Very convenient having laundry too as it was raining when we arrived and we were able to launder our wet clothes! Keatons recommendations were thorough and helpful in planning meals. Would absolutely stay again.

20 mins away from all the DC museums, close to couple grocery stores and restaurants. Quite place and neighborhood. Enough space for 3 people or 2 adults + 2 kids.

Chris's place is in a beautiful, sweet, quiet neighborhood full of beautiful homes and a vibrant community. It is very walkable and we had a great time exploring.

Really nice place with lots of access via nearby metro station. Mike was attentive to our needs and friendly, even reimbursed for some of the parking cost after a minor inconvenience! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone wanting a stay around Alexandria/DC area.

We were so happy with this basement apartment and location. Robert was very helpful and responsive. Most days we drove to the mall parking garage near the Pentagon and took the metro from Pentagon City station to the Smithsonian station (the pre-loaded $30 card available online was perfect for our stay). Driving from the unit to Arlington took mere minutes. It isn't too far from Mt. Vernon either. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. We would stay here again! The current pictures under sell the unit. We were very happy to find it was bigger than expected. It could use a little updating, but we didn't mind. All we did was sleep, eat some breakfast, and return each night with aching feet and legs from a typical day of walking D.C.

Courtney was a very responsive and great host. The place was very clean and homey. Easy to walk wherever we needed to go. We would definitely stay here again!

Suzanne’s place was amazing!!! Beautiful location, wonderful hostess. The apartment was incredibly cute and had everything we could possibly want while there. Would definitely book here again. Our stay at Occaquan was peaceful, relaxing, and very much needed. Arriving to the parking lot was a breeze, only because if John's specific instructions to find it, that was very much appreciated after a long drive. Walking into the place, first impression, looks just like the picture. The very next thought, "how cute is this". From the beautiful window behind the couch with a lovely tree to watch birds in to the cozy feeling of being in a familiar place. This place is quiet, surrounded with beautiful historic scenery, and has many local shops and vendors to spend an afternoon exploring. We walked down to the park by the water way and learned some history while soaking up the sun and the breeze of nature. I absolutely recommend John's place for a stay. I know I will be returning for a simple, relaxing get away, once again! Thank you John for everything!

Love this clean calm space-the balcony was wonderful. Mark was super responsive, checked in on us and we had everything we needed-especially in the kitchen. Great location for walking to restaurants and stores. Will definitely stay again!

My friends and I had an amazing stay at George’s place. The location was perfect, we weren’t far at all from the attractions we wanted to see. The unit was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. My favorite area was the patio and my friends enjoyed the shower with the jets after a long day of traveling. I would definitely stay again and recommend highly to anyone visiting DC.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. My husband and I came for the Nationals vs Cubs series and the location couldn’t have been better! The house was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Israel was incredibly responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions and made check in and check out smooth and hassle free! You can really tell he cares about his guests’ experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located stay!

We had a terrific experience. We were familiar with the area as we lived in Old Town a few years ago so the location was easy for us. If you are unfamiliar with the locations I can tell you it is easily walkable to King Street and many other amenities are nearby. Amanda is a great host - the apartment was perfect for the 2 of us to stay, it was immaculate and was everything she described. Amanda is very responsive, friendly and her directions for accessing the apartment were very clear. We would definitely stay again on a future visit.
