Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Arkansas River

This place is in such a beautiful location and was so homey. Cheryl provided homemade banana bread and fruit, and personally welcomed us to her home. Cozy space, comfy bed, beautiful surroundings, friendly host, yummy food (banana bread AND GREAT bbq in town)… we couldn’t have asked for more.

All the rumors are true! Jim and Karla are absolutely wonderful and the sweetest people. They’re hospitable, accommodating and I hope I have another reason to come back to OKC and stay here again. The bed and pillows were SO COMFORTABLE (and I’m a bit of a pillow diva with my back and neck issues). Thankful for this sweet couple!

Gayle and Ray were very friendly. Open for any questions. Had everything that I needed. Beautiful scenery - would have loved to sit on the back deck with coffee and friends, if time allowed. Would definitely stay there again.

We LOVED our 10 night stay at the White Yarrow Inn. The house is charming has so much character and was perfect for our girls hiking trip. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked. You are literally right in the heart of Manitou old town and everything is within walking distance. We loved it. Also the off street parking was extremely convenient. Chris was a fantastic host. Very responsive and took care of everything we needed and was so accommodating when we asked for help. We plan to book again next year. Thank you!

Even with a few dirt roads, it was easy to find. I was staying in the area for a meeting and was pleasantly surprised to be able to find such an affordable accommodation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, bath towels were thick and fluffy, and it was very clean. There were a few things that were out of the host’s control that may bother some, the train track is close and came through four or five times that night, and there are dogs across the street that were howling and barking on and off. There was also a slight odor from the litter box that has been mentioned by someone else in their review, I could see where that would be an issue for some. Charlene was there to welcome me and make sure I had everything I needed.

As an avid airbnb user, I must admit that this is the most luxurious place I've stayed... and without an ounce pretentiousness. Hosts Gary and Randy couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. Gary even reached out after the end of a long day to offer conversation, but sadly, I had to decline due to said long day. I look forward to staying in this lil oasis again, and to visit more. These guys are truly lovely humans and offer the kind of comfort a solo traveler appreciates.

A 10/10. We had a wonderful, peaceful, and enjoyable stay. The home layout was unique and fun. Home was so warm and inviting. It was stocked very thoughtfully with everything you could need. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will be staying here again!

Really enjoyed everything about our stay. Colleen was a wonderful hostess. The home style breakfast was amazing and The Road Runner Suite was perfect. Colleen went above and beyond, making sure we had everything we needed.

Cat's place was nice and quiet. the bed was comfortable and both the room and bathroom were clean and cozy. Cat was very nice and helpful. I would stay there again in the future!

I was in Independence shooting a wedding and needed a place to stay for just one night. I like the coziness of Airbnb’s over hotels so I was glad to find this B&B! I stayed in the Magnolia room and it was exactly what I wanted and had everything I needed. Jenny made a delightful breakfast for me and we chatted for a bit. I would definitely recommend staying here!

My husband and I really liked our stay. The room was clean and homey. Easy to find, get into the building and room, and quiet. We loved the weekend breakfast. It was delicious and beautifully set up. This is our first bed and breakfast and we would like to do it again. Response time was quick. Recommend this place.

Sarah is the most welcoming host we’ve met! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her home is beautiful and peaceful, the room is perfect- nice linens and a super comfortable bed, everything was perfectly clean. Her added thoughtful touches for snacks and breakfast were greatly appreciated. We hope to return again next year.

Michelle’s place is very convenient to local amenities and peaceful with everything I need inside. Thanks for being an excellent host and for sharing your home. Will be back for two more months of stay.

3rd year staying here, we love this place. Very comfortable and breakfast is always served. After our 3rd stay I can say it’s as if we are visiting family…at least it feels like it! Very comfortable and close to the seed festival.

Amy & Erich were very friendly and we were quite comfortable in the Roost. We were happy to be able to charge our car. We enjoyed an early morning walk to the University along with Erich's lattes and Amy's muffins.

This place had it all!! Ron and Steven were so accommodating and made themselves available for anything I needed. Hot tub was private, hot and clean. Carriage house is secluded and a 12/10. They even left delicious Blueberry muffins in the kitchen area for our enjoyment. Super super clean, that was nice! They also had invited us to write postcards, with the Carriage House letterhead, so we could send to our loved ones.... they put postage on the envelope and mailed them as well. Just the best of three best at The Carriage House! I cannot wait to come back in the Spring/Summer to hit Kansas Crossing Casino (4 mi away) and enjoy their beautiful patio when all plants are outside and thriving weather is warm. You would be missing out to not book this place, for real. Just a wonderful getaway, thanks guys ❤️❤️😎

I love old homes and this one did not disappoint! It had a ton of charm and was perfect for my overnight stay in Manhattan. Very close to restaurants and the downtown area. Would stay again.

We loved the decor inside and out. It was great for our 2 little dogs because it's fenced in very well. It's out in the country, which is very peaceful. Its still close enough to town to go shopping if needed. The hosts were very friendly. We definitely want to go back some day. 5 stars all around!! Loved it! - River and Amy

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend, and we would highly recommend it. The space was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was a couple blocks from main street, so we didn't drive at all. We rode bikes and walked on the Weston Bluffs Trail. When it rained, we stayed in and watched movies. Thank you!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL property and even more wonderful hosts!!! I have been on the road non-stop for 4 weeks and I feel terrible that I am just now leaving a review almost 2 weeks late! These people deserve a shout from the mountain top!

Our stay at Tamara’s was probably one of the top Air bnb stays we’ve ever had! The space was cozy and beautifully decorated with lots of wonderful touches that made us feel right at home. She had a delicious breakfast waiting for us both mornings of our stay- we would go back and pay for another stay just for her pancakes alone! Tamara checked in with us consistently and made us feel welcome. The best part was getting to spend time with her incredible sanctuary animals and hear her stories about how they came to be with her. The sanctuary is beautiful and quiet and so peaceful. We can’t wait to return! We also highly recommend the restaurant Trail Rider, about 25 mins away. One of the best vegan meatball subs we’ve ever had!

We found this place making plans to tour the Safari museum, which was really awesome. The space was really clean, cozy, open, and convenient. We had no complaints!
