Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Argostolion

This villa was truly exquisite. The pool and outdoor area was incredible. It made it hard for us to explore the island, because we never wanted to leave the pool!! The view of both the sea and the mountains was spectacular. Outside, the lemon trees were loaded with ripe lemons that smelled incredible. We picked many of them and made fresh lemonade and other treats, we even ate some of the lemons straight from the tree, they were incredible. Between the lemon trees, rosemary and lavender planted around the home, the outside of the house smelled delicious. The host was responsive and helpful. The cleaner that came everyday did our dishes, laundry, and made all the beds. She worked very hard to keep the villa spotless. I’ve lived in, and spent years traveling Greece, and this was one of my favorite villas that I’ve stayed at. Don’t hesitate to book.

Anna is clearly an experienced traveller and/or host because the villa is very well equipped in the kitchen and outdoors. Towels are provided and fresh bedding is provided mid week. The pool is a nice size and the property is clean and private. The area is very hilly but easily accessible to the nearest beach, restaurants and bakeries. 15/20 minutes from the airport and a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket (a large Lidl is 10/15 minutes away). Would recommend.

We had a great time here! This is Konstantinos’ family house, so felt much more authentic than most of the industrial tourism apartments that you get on Airbnb these days. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and the view was spectacular. Konstantinos is destined to be a superhost for sure - he went to great lengths to give us recommendations, e.g. letting us know about a local festival taking place nearby. We ended up following his tips for most of our excursions. Plus whenever we had a question he got back to us in a matter of minutes. On top of that he was always friendly, positive and accommodating.

An absolute gem of a place. Emma and her mother made our stay simply perfect by providing everything we could have asked for and more. The spacious and comfy house was easy to find and super clean, offering every comfort needed. It offers a lot of privacy and quiet, along with incredible views of the surrounding sea and mountains (the visiting cats were a big plus!). It's location also makes it easy to get to one of the beautiful beaches or a great place to eat after only a short drive. We had an amazing time here and can't wait for a chance to return. We had a wonderful stay at Stelio’s house. The house was immaculate. Clean and had everything you needed. It was a huge space and we felt right at home. Will definitely stay again

We have had the most amazing holiday staying at Villa Christina. The villa is exactly as shown in the photos, clean, had everything we needed and a great location with beautiful surroundings. Christina was very responsive, helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Villa Christina. We are already talking about booking again for next year, we can’t wait to come back!

Serh schönes modernes und super komfortables Haus, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und pefekt in Ordnung und blitzsauber. Die Gastgeberin, Maria ist Architektin und hat alles selbst geplant und gebaut und mit viel Geschmack, Können und ganz liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Grundstück ist riesig, schöne Terasse mit Hollywoodschaukel auf der man sogar schlafen könnte.

Myself and my husband have just returned from our 2nd stay here. The house is beautiful, well equipped and very comfortable. It also has a fantastic view. And It's only a few minutes from the airport. Nikos is very friendly and extremely helpful. The perfect host! I would definitely recommend Sarlata Village House.

Melissani barlang sétatávolság, délután már nincs sorban állás. 3 perces sétán belül a reggeliző, hajóbérlás, Samiben a tavernak kocsival ugyanennyi idő. Tiszta vizű medence, nyugodt környezetű a tengerpart!

Casa di Irene is great place where to spend an holiday in Kefalonia, I highly recommend it. The flat where we stayed was lovely : full equipped, super clean, very nice balcony with direct access to the garden and amazing view. Perfect location to reach the best beaches of the island. Relaxing atmosphere.

What a wonderful host! The house is very spacious, extremely clean and the host is the most accommodating. We had a great stay! It’s only a couple of streets away from the beach and everything is walkable! The house got cleaned every 4 days - amazing service! The bedsheets were white and ironed! Highly recommend!

Ubytovanie bolo nadherne, utulne a ciste. Dobre vybavenie kuchyne. Velka terasa s krasnym vyhladom na more. Poloha skvela, dobra dostupnost celeho ostrova. Domaci boli velmi priatelski a mili. Doniesli nam aj kolac na privitanie a zaujimali sa, ci je vsetko v poriadku. Odporucam

Le logement est t’es bien placé dans un cadre authentique entre l’Ouest et l’Est près de belles plages. Tout près de la plage de Myrthos pour admirer les couchers de soleil. La cuisine est bien équipée, le logement est fonctionnel. Nos hôtes étaient discrets et merci pour les attentions à l’arrivée : bouteilles d’eau et bières fraîches ainsi que que du yaourt grec et confitures locales extras. Je recommande ce logement sans hésitation. Nous avons eu la chance de profitez des chatons de la maison avec grand bonheur.

The villa is amazing! Lovely private pool, great garden with sun and shadow spots to sit. The apartment was fully equiped and clean. Angelina was really kind, responded quickly and helped us with tips for the area. Highly recommend this villa!!

This is the second time we’ve stayed in the Chloe villa and it didn’t disappoint! It’s such a beautiful location with an amazing sea view to watch the sunrise. The pool is directly below and the sea over the road which is perfect for early morning swims. Especially due to the changing temperatures in the water where salt meets fresh and there are warm spots and cold spots. It’s a short pebble beach so water shoes (or flippers in my daughter’s case) make getting in and out of the water much easier. Steve was a brilliant host! Nothing was too much trouble. Really responsive and because we had a late flight extended our checkout time until 6pm which meant we could enjoy a full last day. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, including some starter items for your arrival, such as biscuits, jam, milk, butter… and wine! There is a coffee machine, toasty maker & everything else you may need (incl. washing machine and dishwasher) A 20 min coast walk straight to Sami!

This place is a lovely paradise. The beach is quiet, the water is wonderful. If you’re looking to be out of the city and in a quiet area this is perfect for you.

Villa Vada : what a gem! The best villa we have ever stayed in. Beautifully restored, decorated to a very high standard. Very peaceful and private with a stunning view. We had the most fabulous week and will be back!

Beautiful Villa! A group of us stayed here with 2 small children. The cleaner came twice during our 10 days, the fridge was stocked with some things when we arrived, beds made, everything clean & tidy. It was a lovely stay! Definitely need a car though, there is 2 restaurants within a 10 minutes walk, however one was always shut when we went to go. We ended up driving into the town every evening for dinner :)

A beautiful home, in a beautiful location, was paradise...the local restaurants were all so welcoming and amazing food, close to many beautiful beaches and sights, you can do nothing or explore for days on this island . Themis was great host, very friendly and helpful when we needed to ask , especially about what to do. Thank you Themis !

The villa is located in a beautiful location and is so peaceful. It is a huge bonus to have the use of the hotels pool, spa and facilities next door. The views from the terraces are stunning. The villa is well equipped with everything you need - and if you enjoy birds, they are a big part of enjoying the terrace. There is a short, steep walk to a swim place - you can access the sea at thie point and it is beautiful water - but there is no actual beach within the immediate grounds. You really need a car. We went in lower season and relied on a car to get around and discover some of the local highlights. There are some great restaurants in Skala - but taxis are 10 euros (4 people) each way so thats 40 euros for a family of 5 to go 5 minutes drive down the road - if you dont fancy driving. Kefalonia is stunning and I would happily go back to stay at Panos' villa! Maybe not with teenagers next time though - it tends to be a little older in Skala - with a very chilled vibe. :-)

Family of 4 with 2 teens. One of the best Airbnbs we have had, and we have had some great ones. The house is very charming, traditionally furnished, spotless and everything works. Fresh fruit, local honey and oil (+ tea, coffee, v well equipped kitchen). Beautiful outside space, pristine pool, great views. Easy roll down (need a car) to Argostolli. Good quality, reasonable Taverna very close. Sotiris is a great host. Came from town late in the eve to check us in. Came and cleaned the pool checked the garden. Friendly and and really good recommendations for day trips and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Costas’ place was excellent, and we loved our stay in Kefalonia. Though we hired a car, we stayed, for the most part, around the Air BnB for five nights, and had a great time. There is plenty locally: bars, cafes (Cleios is especially good), restaurants and, of course, the beach. (A car will help you get to the beach in 3 minutes, rather than having to take the reasonably tiring walk back up the hill, so we’d recommend that.) Costas and Christina were brilliant hosts: attentive, flexible, and generous. One morning, Costas even sent us, delivered, a selection of Greek pastries. We couldn’t recommend it, and Kefalonia, enough!

Eftichia welcomed us very affectionately with lots of hugs She left us fruit,wine and water for our 10days stay and she showed us all what we needed to know about the property The property was superb for location and walkable to restaurants and supermarkets as my wife and myself are over 80 The gardens are lovely and peaceful with a very friendly cat which both grandchildren loved ,would highly recommend booking this accommodation,hope to return soon David

We were in villa “Christin” at Leventis Villa’s… that’s the first one of three identical places before you reach the pool complex. The villas are quite old now, so probably need a bit of an update, though everything you need is provided (apart from maybe a microwave), and our host (also “Christin”) continually checked if everything was okay for us. She was very, very helpful when Nespresso coffee machine went wrong and made sure that her weekly linen change and cleaning was done around our needs. We spent a lot of our time there simply chilling out on the veranda in the shaded Sun, or inside when things got too hot, as the interior does keep cooler. Lovely and peaceful generally as we were lucky that there were no noisy neighbours during our stay. Pool is large and clean, and it was just us laying around it most of the time. All in all, a lovely place to stay… and truth be told, could be even better if/when the villa is modernised a little bit.
