It is a semi-detached cottage which is set in a tranquil courtyard with two other unique cottages. It is surrounded by 2.5 acres of gardens. The cottage has a unique design reflecting old Ireland with Modern Amenities. Location is 4 miles from the village of Emly which has shops and a restaurant. The local pub is a 10 minute walk from the cottage, and is a real Irish pub with mud walls and full of character. There are many nearby attractions which include Golf Courses. Mountain Biking etc.

Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden. This is it, the magical one. The one that's even better than the photos suggest. Set in a beautiful and idyllic area of the country, this house is grand in more ways than one. With houses becoming more modern and plain, it's great to see a place that revels in its older heritage. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, and the beds are comfy. The kitchen is incredible and very well-appointed with enough utensils and supplies for a large group. The house is set in beautiful fields and gardens, and we were permitted to walk and explore. Ellen and Jasmijn greeted us on arrival and showed us around. The only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. A true retreat in the Irish countryside.

Stunning location!! Loved the privacy, the views (so beautiful) and so relaxing. It was easy to get to neighboring villages and then retreat to a quiet place. Close enough to Cobh, Kinsale, Carrigaline and Cork, without being too close. Vincent is an absolutely wonderful host; attentive and responds quickly. The place is very clean and we loved the fresh ocean breezes. We especially loved having breakfast/coffee overlooking the ocean. We absolutely love this place and hope to come back again soon.

We were in Ireland for a family wedding and gathering of family from US and UK . Sandys house was just fantastic - so comfortable & spacious ,a clutter free and contemporary home - perfect for two small children and a mixed group of adult relatives. Would highly recommend as a base for touring the local area or further afield. Perfect to return to at the end of a busy day.

We cannot adequately describe what a wonderful stay we had at The Granary. The home was perfect for us and Bee had great suggestions for local activities. We took advantage of a number of her recommendations and had a wonderful time. We really felt like we were at the home of a friend. We hope to make our way back here as we had just a perfect getaway. Since this is Bee’s planned retirement home it really reflected her wonderful taste and it was awesome to have a washer and dryer. Highly recommend

Quiet place near Glenbrohane, Ballylanders and Kilfinane. Definitely good for guests who like outdoor activities. John and Barbara were very helpful. As the accommodation is at the back of their property it felt very safe.
