The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

200 year old coastguard cottage - amazing coastal views including an outdoor seaview hot tub. The beach is less than two minutes walk. Idyllic, remote setting - 10 mins drive to Ardmore, 15 to Youghal. Recent high end renovation and extension. We have young kids so the house is set up to be totally family friendly with everything for families and child safety. In May 2020, it featured on RTE Home of the year and became a finalist in the top 7 homes in Ireland. Irish lights built all 76 lighthouses & keepers houses in Ireland, and this is the only lighthouse keepers house in a town in Ireland!

Grainne's house is the perfect location for the end of a long vacation in Ireland. it is located steps from one of the most picturesque beaches and just 15 minutes or so from town. Ardmore is as quaint as can be but has a definite vibrant feel about it. when we were looking for places to go, Grainne was quick to replay with great suggestions. I highly recommend this location for anyone that could use a relax and a soak.

Spotless accommodation, beautiful beach a short stroll away. The views were stunning! Lots of family friendly things to do nearby. The host was super friendly and responsive. The areas was so peaceful and private. The host had a campfire set up with really added to our final evening.. with family time with smores. All in all a perfect trip!

Stunning location!! Loved the privacy, the views (so beautiful) and so relaxing. It was easy to get to neighboring villages and then retreat to a quiet place. Close enough to Cobh, Kinsale, Carrigaline and Cork, without being too close. Vincent is an absolutely wonderful host; attentive and responds quickly. The place is very clean and we loved the fresh ocean breezes. We especially loved having breakfast/coffee overlooking the ocean. We absolutely love this place and hope to come back again soon.

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet and beautiful part of Ireland. Very well equipped and comfortable with easy outside parking. A beautiful area with lovely nearby (by car) towns and beaches. Thank you.

Thanks so much for the stay in your beautiful house. It's so bright, spotlessly clean and kitted out with everything we needed. It's in a calm and peaceful location, only a few mins walk to a gorgeous beach and about 5 mins drive to Ardmore.

Colorful beach huts with red roofs and blue exteriors are positioned alongside a wooden boardwalk. The sandy beach extends to the horizon, while the calm water reflects the clear sky. Soft sunlight bathes the scene, creating a serene beachfront environment.

Great little place, very quiet and secluded, I stayed here with my 2 dogs and there were lots of walks, a forest walk right next to the house that leads down to a river, a lot of thought has gone into the information booklet in the house giving lots of great information on places to go, beaches restaurants walks etc. the kitchen was well equipped to cook meals and Alexa and Netflix a nice touch

We stayed for a week at this modern, clean house in Ardmore, Ireland, and it was an incredible experience. The house offers amazing views of the town, the hillside, and the bay, giving you that perfect Irish landscape right outside your window. The host was proactive with all communication, providing everything we needed to know. They even had a comprehensive book with recommendations for things to do and see around Ardmore. The amenities were top-notch. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Both bathrooms were in excellent condition, and the three bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and plenty of linens. Everything was spotless and well-organized. One of the highlights was the stunning cliff walk right by the house, offering breathtaking views that perfectly capture the essence of Ireland. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ardmore. It was such a wonderful stay, and we’d love to return if we get the chance!
