Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ardennes

Had a lovely time staying at this place! We very much enjoyed the lovely beds, jacuzzi and barbecues; highly recommended as far as we are concerned!

There were four of us in Marie-Claire's house and had a lovely stay for a few quiet days and due to the convenient location opportunity to explore the region. The house is very clean and extensively equipped, everything you might need is there. Marie-Claire is a friendly hostess and very accessible.

Beautiful surprise of an extraordinary place! Beautiful sunny terrace, hot water pool, in the cottage, everything was impeccably clean, the family always ready to listen, impeccable organization and communication. The place is beautiful and just what we needed at the end of a long trip. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare a meal. The location made it walkable to nearly anywhere in the village. Host was very responsive to questions. There was plenty of space for 6 adults to be comfortably. The only downside was the one toilet. We might have overlooked that in the listing but thought it would contain two toilets since it has two showers. The listing said 'Hot Tub' but there is not a hot tub on site; however, this seemed like a translation issue from French to English. Would defiantly stay again in i was in the area.

Excellent location! Right in the heart of downtown! We walked all over to bars and restaurants and it was easy to get out for our champagne house tours. We found street parking but the parking deck was very close. Stairs up to the apartment are as you would expect in a building of this age but manageable. Apratment was clean and as pictured, sleeping our party of 5 easily. The kitchen is well appointed. Nadange thoughtfully had a few bottles of wine, champagne and beer chilling in the fridge available for purchase at very reasonable prices which we took advantage of! The ceiling fan in the living room and the small fans in the bedrooms were helpful as it was unexpectedly warm during our stay. Thankfully, it cooled off in the evening, the only drawback to the windows being open was the restaurant below in the courtyard was setting up early and it was a bit noisy; but when staying in the heart of the city this wasn’t unexpected (same with the church bells). Highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage and hosts. We had a great weekend with friends in the sun and quiet in the heart of nature. The kids were thrilled with the ponds, boats and fishing. Really recommendable.

A very pleasant cottage, well furnished and equipped. We didn't want for anything. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms impeccably clean. Although the cottage is on the main road, it is extremely quiet and we were not disturbed by the little traffic. It's a cute and peaceful village with very friendly neighbors. Ingrid always responded promptly to our messages. We'll be happy to go back!

Great weekends at Béatrice's! Everything was nice, clean , the house is spacious and super pretty , the garden is also super relaxing not overlooked , to be redone for us!

We had a super nice weekend in the unique tiny cottage with outdoor kitchen and outdoor bathroom. We were lucky with the weather in early October with 2 days of sun which definitely affected the experience positively. Corinne was super helpful, we were allowed to check in earlier and her breakfasts and the Ardennes dinner in their wood oven was also very special. Highly recommended if you like peace and space and back-to-basics!

We arrived very late due to work and traffic jams but fortunately the host was very flexible. Cottage was a true little paradise of peace and very cozy. All amenities worked and were tidy. Heating worked after some figuring out and time perfect. Even got an electric heater temporarily but it was not necessary after half an hour. Sophie came to visit the next day for an explanation and whether everything was to your liking. Intermarche was a few minutes' drive away in Givet and was ideal. Views over the Meuse and the mountains were fantastic. Bed sleeps well. Bedding was wonderfully clean and made up. Large bedroom with ample outlets to charge everything for the next day. Low deck chairs in the garden were good. You can have delicious breakfast with 4 chairs. Swimming pool was closed but nice for us because otherwise it could be a lot busier with children playing because you share the big garden with 2 more apartments. Sophie also speaks English and is very friendly. Thanks ?

Great stay with family. Francine is very welcoming. Very functional accommodation The pool is a big plus, our daughters enjoyed it. The location is ideal because it's quiet and close to Belgium. We'll be happy to go back

We had a lovely stay, everything was compliant, maybe just a freezer would be missing.

The four of us had a wonderful week at this beautiful spot right on the river. From your own terrace you look out over the domain, with a flowing stream, fine trampolines and playground for the children, a fire pit to roast marshmallows, a cozy scrambling pony, a nice swimming pool for the necessary cooling, and especially lots of greenery and tranquility. The cottage is clean, spacious and has nice beds. The owners are extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. You can also order delicious aperoshotels, wines and breakfast/lunch baskets from them. Behind the cottage you can walk into the woods. You could also very well stay here with several families or groups; there are several gites for rent and also a nice chateau. We have enjoyed it!

Didier was very friendly. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. We had the whole house at our disposal, with lovely comfortable living rooms. The bedrooms are on the upper floor. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean. We were 9 martial arts practitioners and we will definitely want to come back to the next Budo Event! Thank you!
