Extremely welcoming and responsive hosts. The accommodation is clean and very well-equipped. The hosts gave us a document with many recommendations in the area. Thank you so much for your welcome.

Clara was an excellent hostess who greeted us with fig cake and port wine. She offered bottles of wine (nominal charge because good wine is inexpensive in Porto, Portugal) available for purchase. She offered a tour of the accommodations, providing instructions where necessary, but kept it to a minimum. We booked an airbnb experience Douro Valley tour through Clara .... it was wonderful and highly recommended. Keep-in-mind, of the three airbnb's we stayed-in through-out Portugal only one had dryer. Washing machine at Clara's was downstairs, outside but in a shed area, and she had a line drying feature. The ensuite is a bit tight, but nothing that can not be lived with with for a brief stay and all the decor is charming.

Diogo was an exemplary host: always available, attentive and genuinely concerned about our well-being. Your kindness made the experience even more special. The space is simply stunning, perfect for resting the mind and recharging the soul. And as if the surrounding nature and tranquility of the place were not enough, we had charming visitors: adorable kittens that appeared unexpectedly and immediately won our hearts. They were a sweet and caring asset, which gave even more life to our stay. We recommend it with our eyes closed - and with our hearts full.

“It's more than we expected. The house has a prime location, right in front of a beautiful beach. The balcony is enviable; we sat there to eat and contemplate the spectacular sunsets. In addition, it is located in an excellent area, very close to good restaurants, cafes, bars, a casino and a pedestrian area. There is also a Lidl nearby. The house is beautiful, with all the amenities, and the cleanliness is excellent. We had a great time... we will definitely be back soon."

We had a great time at Joshua's place. The listing is exactly as described and is conveniently located for visiting Porto. We particularly enjoyed the garden, the swimming pool, the welcome and the assistance of Josue's parents and, especially during the power outage that affected the area for more than 8 hours! Thanks to the BBQ, the restaurants remaining closed for lack of electricity, we were able to grill and feed our family of 10…our grandchildren also enjoyed the friendly presence of the pony, the goats and the pig in the pens of the garden. We would recommend this lovely listing.

We so enjoyed our stay! The house is amazing. Historic and cozy charm with modern amenities. We had so much fun with the soccer field, the pool, the pool table, hammock, and exploring the grounds. We picked lemons off the tree and made lemonade and a lemon dessert! We soo enjoyed meals at the big outdoor tables- wonderful to accommodate our large group of 7. The daily delivery of fresh bread is a treat!! We enjoyed walking into town and visiting the butcher, bakery, fish market and such. It’s a 25-minute walk through lovely hills, though there is not a sidewalk and the traffic was difficult to navigate at times, but we also drove to town. Sitting outside with morning coffee overlooking the valley was one of my favorite parts! My daughter and fiancé stayed in the detached cottage and found it to be so cozy and comfortable. Lastly, Isabel was very accommodating with some last minute changes, which I really appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We were in Porto for Primavera so spent 4 nights at this delightful apartment. Everywhere really walkable from front door and lots of restaurants/coffee bars locally. Lovely back garden is a bonus in city centre and enjoyed sitting in the sunshine with a glass of wine. Extremely quiet despite the location and no discernible noise from apartment above. It felt like a bit of a haven. Comfy bed and much of furniture ikea so good standard plus the owners decorative touches. Laurent super helpful, found us car parking and even met us there and took us to apartment. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

My stay at Francisco's apartment in Porto was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect, with easy access to all the city's main attractions. Francisco's place was cozy, clean, and full of charm. A perfect place for an artist it’s so well done. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I loved exploring Porto's streets and discovering its hidden gems, and coming back to the apartment's warm atmosphere was the perfect ending to each day. Highly recommend! Will definitely come back and stay here very soon.

We loved our time at this charming Airbnb. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Ribeira, steps away from the Douro River, iconic bridges, and countless cafés and restaurants. Exploring the historic center was a breeze, with beautiful streets and river views just out the door. The apartment is lovely, bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It was peaceful and comfortable to return to after long days of sightseeing. The kitchen and living space were well-equipped, and the cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our host was exceptionally friendly, responsive, and full of great recommendations. The check-in went smoothly, and they made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. If you're looking for a wonderful base to explore Porto, this is it.

I will write in my native language, because I will not be able to translate emotions ♥️ The apartment exceeded our expectations! Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, there is everything you need. Things like coffee, salt, sugar, spices, shower gel - everything that you don't want to buy for a couple of days and then you don't know what to do with it. The apartment is very sunny, there are more windows than doors and that's good 👍 You can't imagine how nice it was to find a bottle of wine on the table after a long flight and check-in after midnight 🥰 I think that these apartments can compete with a good hotel!

Great appartment in a very nice area. Close to all highlights of Porto and nice cafes and restaurants. Anabela was a great host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mimi’s place. It was really beautiful and had everything we needed. It was so nice to be able to walk everywhere and at the end of the day have somewhere quiet to relax. Mimi was really quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely recommend Mimi’s place and hope to come back someday.

Awesome hosts - super accommodating

Great stay overall! The hosts provided lots of helpful information before our arrival, which made everything really smooth. The air conditioning was excellent and kept the place comfortable throughout our stay. The shower was lovely with great water pressure, and there was plenty of storage space for all our things. Having Disney+ on the TV was a fun bonus that we really enjoyed. Would happily stay again!

The apartment is a delight from the moment you walk in. It is beautifully decorated and feels like a home. Great bathroom with amazing rain shower and hot water. Bedroom and kitchen and living areas are all well presented and equipped with all you need and with lots of additional touches. Very quiet for sleeping, and great air conditioning in bedroom and living area. Great location to explore Porto, and don’t even have to walk very far at all, including a great cafe next door, to find lovely eating places. Pedro was a wonderful host in every way.

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

We spent 4 very pleasant days in the apartment, which is very well located in the center of Matosinhos and has all kinds of businesses nearby (also the beach!). It's great for a couple or a single person. And Fernando, the host, will give you all the information you need to enjoy your stay, and will be available to resolve any issues that will make your trip even more satisfying. In short, a great experience!

Pro's: - The view is phenomenal!! - The location is convenient and central (bus and metro stops nearby) - Large bedroom (also a beautiful view!) -Genug Platz - in the kitchen, everything you need is there (a second pot would be nice) -All was clean - There is an elevator (apartment is on the 7th floor) Cons: - The ventilation in the bathroom turns on automatically in the afternoon and does not turn off again until the next morning. It is very loud and looks dirty, and it also gives off an unpleasant smell when it runs. You should always have the bathroom door open for ventilation. No dishwasher - Large and noisy construction site around the corner Overall, I had a great stay and felt comfortable!

Fantastic spot with views of the water. Very airy, beautiful flat in Mira Gaia and walking distance to the Dom Luis bridge, Clerigos area and Sao Bento train station. (Just be ready for the hills! There is a set of escalators down the river, though not all seem to work all at one time for whatever reason.) Just a few minutes from multiple bus stops and a local market. Quiet area since it is on a dead end street and comfortable beds with all the needed amenities. Highly recommended!

The apartment is very beautiful and in a great central area. We went everywhere by foot. The communication with Daniel was perfect, he is very nice and responded quickly. We really enjoyed our stay there.

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

well located accommodation 20 minutes walk to the ribeira and close to bars and restaurants. 10 minutes from the metro station arriving from the airport. very good bedding.
