Vacation rentals with lake access in Arcozelo

This is our best stop while traveling in Portugal. The house has everything you need, it's just nice inside. We also got there at a time when Portugal had a power and communications blackout - so the hostess and her family showed incredible care - and brought candles, and lit the barbecue and offered food - well, we've never had such a cool "apocalypse"! I definitely recommend it!

Excellent stay. The house exceeded expectations, beautiful and very neat. It smelled very well. In addition, the site was extremely calm and with a lot of privacy. They were very attentive, always ready to help. We had a small situation that we eventually managed to solve ourselves, however they were attentive to the point of leaving a basket with breakfast at our door for the inconvenience we had. I recommend it 100% and we will definitely be back there.

Peaceful and clean place with a unique location.

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone else. Thank you for the hospitality António!

It had everything we needed and it was in a beautiful part of the country. Very quiet but close enough to get provisions and meals out if needed. Samuel was a perfect host.

A great home to explore the Geres area and park. Beautiful view from the porch, convenient living room and a kitchen with everything you will need for a short or long stay. The bedrooms are spacious and linen comfortable. The house was spotless clean and Margarida was quick to respond to any question we had. Highly recommend if you plan to visit the Geres area.

We had a fabulous week at Eusebio’s place. The cabin was bright, modern and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. We made good use of the bbq and enjoyed paddle boarding and pedeloing along the river. We also enjoyed walking along the river and through the woods. However, our favourite thing was to to just spend time in the beautiful pool. It really was glorious and we are now totally spoilt in terms of having a pool that is heated!! It really makes all the difference!!

Communication with Marta was pleasant, relaxed, warm and clear from the beginning to the end of our stay. Our questions or requests were answered and considered very quickly. The apartment offered us everything we needed and more. Marta has thought of everything that is important and practical for a vacation in the small fine apartment. The decor is smart, modern and useful. The amenities are amazingly well thought out. We slept excellently in the large double bed and were pleased with the bright white, pleasantly fragrant bed linen. We also enjoyed using the towels. Everything is easily accessible from there: the sea, restaurants and shopping as well as the old town and the weekly market. And the well-kept little park right in front of the house. We also got our money's worth culturally. The only downside: the view of the apartment's unkempt courtyard.

What a wonderful and unique location. Nature is your friend yet, within driving distance to so many places like Gerês, Braga, Germaise (sp) and Porto. Fantastic access! If you have a larger group there are at least four bedrooms three or so bathrooms, kitchens- indoor and outdoor. We ordered breakfast which was a great value and delicious (a nice treat after the jet leg). We’re already working on how we get our whole family here. Monica is an excellent host!

I loved the very quiet place,for peeling is wonderful ,and the views of the apartment is very beautiful to wake up in the morning and have that view over the pool and the river I recommend

Cecilia's apartment is spacious and comfortable with all amenities you would need for your stay. It is situated in a quiet area but with cafes and restaurants within walking distance, also with the Cristal gardens 5 minutes away.

A stunning apartment with a magical view of Porto and the ocean. Clean and spacious. There’s internet and streaming services on the TV for the child. Within a 10–30 minute walk in either direction along the beach, there are places with delicious food. There is some construction nearby, but the apartment itself is relatively quiet. There were a couple of minor issues, but overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay. We’d gladly come back if we have the chance.

We had a great stay! There are lovely views from the apartment and you are close to everything without the area feeling too busy. We felt very relaxed and Luisa & Jose Luis were very helpful and thoughtful hosts.

Enjoyed our stay. Loved the view and home was comfortable. Bathrooms and rooms were pristine. Elevator was a big plus for luggage. Very quiet and easy uber drives to attractions. Thanks for the great stay in Porto!

Our stay at Sónia’s apartment was absolutely perfect — a 10/10 experience! The apartment was spotless, very comfortable, calm, and ideally located in the heart of Porto. Every time we walked in, it smelled amazing — a small detail that made a big difference and made us feel right at home. Sónia was kind, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful throughout our stay. You can really feel that she puts care and attention into every detail. Her instructions were clear, and the apartment had everything we needed for a lovely stay. We would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending her place to our friends without hesitation. Thank you, Sónia, for such a wonderful stay!

8 of us had an amazing week at Ria Surf House. The pool area was perfect for us adults and kids! Mariana was very helpful and responsive. Fab meals at the snack bar and Casa das Enguias. We didn’t have a car but Mariana put us in touch with a lovely local taxi driver who ensured we could get around when not walking. Also took the train to Porto and Aveiro, great days out. The beach was amazing - a walk through a forest to get there - a wild and remote feel. Many thanks!

Great house. Great surroundings. Loved the pool area and the boats at the lake.

We loved the outdoor dining room and the wonderful little community on a hill. The location is not necessarily super remote, or quiet, but makes up for this by having a great, central location in Pina Geres and being right next to really cool little beaches and a short drive from the beautiful waterfalls up in the mountains.

We were very well received and greatly enjoyed our stay at the house. Maria Fatima was very helpful and accomodating during our entire stay and did her best to help us and make us feel right at home. The house is on the outskirts of a village in a very calm area, but close to many bigger and busier cities, and beaches. The garden, pool and bar areas are perfect to enjoy from morning to nighttime, and it feels like a small private resort. The small children loved running around to play with the cats and dog, watching the birds, going in the pool, playground, and just having fun in the large and very diverse garden. The host lives in a house adjacent to the rented house but is very discreet, and even though we enjoy privacy we didn't have any issues staying in the house with the hosts nearby. In fact she was so helpful and kind we felt it was a joy to have her close by. She brought us many gifts of food, desserts and cake, and helped us in many ways during the stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy stone house. The atmosphere is super quiet, ideal for those seeking rest amidst nature, and the house was impeccably clean and well equipped. The host Célia was extremely friendly and attentive, welcomed us with great cordiality and shared great tips for tours around the region. In addition, he was always available for any support we needed. I highly recommend and would definitely return!

Diogo and his father were fantastic hosts. We spent nearly 3 winter months at the property and loved it. Everything was perfect as described. The location is outstanding, immersed in nature....the best sunsets and sunrises i have ever seen. The house is well equipped, really comfy with a modern looking . We definitely recommend it and cannot wait to come back in summer.

Ideal place to spend a weekend with family and friends.

I would use the word "Exceptionnel" for this stay. The chalet was almost new, everything was well done, functional, well equipped and decorated with a lot of taste. As the place is a bit remote, the environment is also very calm and relaxing. Would return any time.
