An incredible stay here, Juana and Ilandy were wonderful hosts and coming home to them felt like a warm hug, after a long journey. We really cherished our stay, with them going above and beyond for us and would 100% stay again, if we return. A beautiful home and very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and the vibe of Matanzas was a great escape from hectic Havana. Thanks for everything!

Staying at Michael and Mileidy’s beach house in Guanabo was, without a doubt, the best decision we made. From the moment we arrived, they were always available and attentive to anything my family and I needed. We spent 9 of the most enjoyable and relaxing days of our entire vacation there they truly made us feel at home. Their support throughout our stay was exceptional, even helping us find supplies we needed for our trip. If you’re seriously considering staying in a comfortable, well-kept home with five-star service, this is the place to book. I also want to highlight their amazing team from the kind security staff to Raúl and his wife, who were incredibly helpful and contributed to making our stay even more pleasant. Honestly, I can only hope to return soon and enjoy that beautiful little house as my home once again.

Beautiful beach in Guanabo, which is not a touristy place. The weather we had was not great — lots of wind, big waves, and chilly. But the forced relaxation was wonderful because our rooms were so comfortable. Ofelia and Pedro were there to cater to our every need, wonderful hosts!

The naturally grown food was some of the best I’ve ever tasted not just in Cuba but the entire world. I’ve never eaten a mango so sweet and ripe. I had dinner and breakfast and both were HUGE and delicious. Despite the rustic setting I had the best sleep of my trip in fact I slept in. The roads are not well marked so be careful to not cycle right to the bottom of the steep hill like I did. The entrance is closer to the main highway. Elisa and her neighbour are hilarious together. The place is different and quirky but certainly memorable. I think that kids would just love all the animals running free.

A private pool area features a clear blue pool surrounded by tiled flooring. A shaded seating area is visible with a bar, two tables, and several chairs, creating a space for relaxation and gatherings. Natural light brightens the enclosed outdoor space.

Nos encantó el lugar. Pasamos un fin de semana en familia muy divertido. La piscina la limpiaban todos los días, el desayuno con sus jugos naturales estuvo delicioso, una zona tranquila para despejar. Yodelvis nos atendió muy bien, fue muy amable y Cristina siempre estaba al pendiente. Hay lugares para comer en la playa, pero nosotros llevamos nuestra propia comida, la cocina está bien equipada con todos los utensilios necesarios. Hay que caminar un poco para ir a la playa pero el ejercicio es bueno 😉 Volveríamos allí sin dudarlo.

We had 27 days and nights in Cuba, all in Casa's and this was the best by far for comfort, cleanliness and location. Not to mention that we always had power and air con for the 6 nights we spent there! Due to a booking mistake on my end, we ended up moving rooms and stayed in two rooms and both were great with the middle room being the biggest. Ernest's communication was great, very responsive and helped sort a collectivo back to Jose Marti airport when we left. Our host on the ground Bety was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, and her helper was also great, both keeping the casa spotless and immaculate. Having direct access to the beach and good restaurants, bakeries, etc just out the back door made our stay so much better than an all inclusive resort, having the freedom to come and go as you please and it felt like home! Thank you Ernest and Bety.
