If you want a more authentic/meet friendly local farmers/quiet and extremely awesome host experience. This is it !!! Seriously never encountered a more welcoming experience. The eggs, the cake and fruit that welcomed us was amazing and unexpected. The cleanliness and washer / dryer and all the needed details were covered. We absolutely loved being right on the ocean! It was within feet of the house!- with the waves crashing and the patio where we ate all our meals, provided an excellent ambiance for our trip. We stayed 6 nights and were so glad we didn’t move around to other places. The promenade next to the house is very scenic and offered a one mile round trip walk along the ocean . Watching the surfers was also a plus.

Our stay at Casa Nobrega was simply magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed — the thoughtful gift waiting for us was such a lovely surprise and really set the tone for the rest of our stay. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, available whenever we had a question but also respectful of our space. The house is fully equipped with everything you might need, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. What stood out most was the absolute peace and quiet — just birdsong and ocean breezes. The rooftop patio was the highlight for us: sipping wine at sunset with panoramic views of the sea and mountains felt like something out of a dream. The photos don’t do it justice. This is a rare kind of place — beautifully maintained, filled with charm, and surrounded by nature. If you’re looking for serenity, comfort, and a truly special stay in Madeira, Casa Nobrega is it. We’re already dreaming about coming back!

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

We were in Madeira for a week and loved our stay! Opção was super responsive and available. The view from the balcony was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The location was very private. We highly recommend this place.

This was a delightful place to stay. Very private and so many facilities for a small place. Beautiful views, swimming pool and honesty bar. A total hidden gem.

We really liked the apartment, it is just like in the photos and we had everything we needed. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we had a private parking. They even left us some homemade cookies, fresh eggs from the garden, and bananas. Highly recommended!

Lucky Lemons 🍋 was just what we needed . Bobby has created a wonderful slice of paradise on a truly beautiful island. We stayed in No 1 - which was perfect for the 2 of us - we enjoyed long lazy breakfasts in the terrace and evening we watched the sunset by the amazing infinity pool and then once the sun had set, we lay on the sunloungers watching the stars - even saw a shooting star 💫. There is also an undercover area by the pool with cushions, where we were able to have a bbq in the evenings. I swam in the pool everyday before breakfast and often enjoyed an evening dip after a day of adventuring around the island . Our house was lovely and cosy - everything we needed. Elise met us upon arrival, we were able to communicate by text and even though our flight was delayed, Elise was waiting for us and showed us around. Bobby messaged us too to ensure we had everything we needed. Our stay was amazing from start to finish. Thank you to Bobby and Elise 💕💕💕

An unforgettable stay! Christina and Aleixo are exceptional hosts. They spontaneously picked us up from the airport and took us back – an incredible service! Thanks to their help, we were able to rent a scooter easily and without hidden costs. Together we ate in local restaurants and experienced the island authentically. The accommodation was even more beautiful than described – clean, lovingly decorated and equipped with everything. But what made this vacation really special was their warm, almost family-like manner. They were always available, had great insider tips for excursions and simply took care of us in a touching way. We didn't feel like guests, but like friends. Thank you for this wonderful time – we will be back!

it was a really very nice big house with a paradisical balcony and a magnificent view over the whole village at less than 300 meters high. You have to have a car very clearly,otherwise it could be problematic. It actually gets cold at night and in the morning, but there are at least mobile heating devices in the apartment. Unfortunately, we also noticed cockroaches in the direct reference, but after we removed 5 pieces, we didn't have a problem with it anymore

We had a pleasant stay at Ivone and Garry's. The apartment has an amazing sea view and everything you need. We will come back without hesitation for an upcoming stay in Madeira!

We had a lovely stay in Madeira! Absolutely stunning views from the apartment. Marco was super responsive throughout our stay, and found us a lovely local taxi driver when Bolt/Uber had forsaken us. Would definitely stay again!

Value for money this property was great. The exterior report is great. The area is quiet. The property has a beautiful sea view and the mountains in the background. We felt right at home. Nearby (at the port or on the local beach) is also a car rental (Tropical) to be mobile on the island.

I really like it It is necessary to keep in mind only the path that Google Maps gives us but once we know the right way, nothing to point out!

It was just the way we expected, too bad the jacuzzi needed so much time to warm up that we didnt use it.

We loved our stay here, very comfortable apartment and stunning location. Gary met us on arrival and responded within minutes with any issues. it's lovely and peaceful but it was a nice bonus to have a few local restaurants and small shop in walking distance. Definitely recommended!

We enjoyed this house. The house is very spacious and very clean. The view is very nice. The beds were different, some beds were very soft and other beds harder, which we found more pleasant. There were four of us and there were plenty of beds to choose. We slept well. The pool is large, it is a bit outdated, but the children enjoyed swimming in it. The temperature was fine, not icy cold, because the pool is slightly heated. The canopy helps with this and is easy to open and close. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen is very large and the living room also with a lovely sofa. It was nice to have blankets. Also nice that we were allowed to use towels and bath towels. The house is higher and is therefore colder than at the beach. A car is emergency. Driving is a challenge in Madeira, especially some streets. Two beautiful walks next to the cottage. In short, great!

We had a lovely stay in this accomodation. It was nice to explore an area outside of Funchal and was a good base to explore around the island. The place was very clean and the view was stunning. The hosts were very kind and friendly at both check in and check out. I would highly recommend!

The accommodation corresponded to the photos, the host was friendly and provided us with many recommendations, upon arrival we were greeted with local fruit and wine as a courtesy and also vegetables from their farm. I recommend

We loved our stay at the rock villa's. We were very sad to leave - we hope to have the opportunity to return. The villa itself was beautiful (as pictured in the ad), clean, comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed. Fabrice was a superb host, friendly and attentive. The location was great, easy enough to find and very peaceful. The view was magic.

We had wonderful days at the property and would book them again anytime. There was everything you needed and very clean.

Everything was perfect. The cottage is overcomplete. It is not a holiday home but a home. Contact with the host will be picked up quickly and clearly. The view is stunning. The wifi is good, the children were very happy with that.

Martin was great at communicating and the home was beautiful. The views from the hot tub are spectacular! Would stay here again.

Unbelievable view and house, we had such a great stay here enjoying the pool and all the location had to offer. Madeira was such a beautiful island to explore and was great to come back and relax at Rui’s house after exploring. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a private place with a great view of the ocean.
