We would highly recommend staying at Valerie’s property. We spent 7 nights there, it was so relaxing and peaceful. The gites are fitted out to the highest standard, with top quality appliances - they have everything you need. Valerie was very friendly and hospitable - always going the extra mile to meet our needs. We really appreciated her kind and thoughtful gestures. Also the excellent tourist recommendations from Philippe. The pool and the gardens are beautiful, we particularly appreciated the pool every day especially when the temperatures soared to 37 degrees. It was easy to get into the nearest town, and also to the beaches. A great SuperU supermarket in nearby Marans. We had such a fabulous week and Valerie and Philippe were such wonderful hosts. You know what they say, people make a holiday - and they certainly did. Until the next time….. we will be back! Xx

A peaceful little haven in the heart of the Poitevin Marsh. You will have a hard time leaving Maddy and Pascal's place as their cottage is cozy, peaceful and welcoming. Maddy and Pascal always responded to our messages very quickly and were very welcoming when we arrived. They even recommended a restaurant that was also delicious. We loved spending time in their beautiful garden, which you will access to from the cottage. The accommodation is also very comfortable and very well-equipped. We'll be back, that's for sure!

We had a very pleasant week in the cottage offered by Lisa. The accommodation is new, very well-equipped, spacious and comfortable in a quiet environment. Well placed to visit the Poitevin marsh, close (walking distance) to the Arçais piers and bike rental. A plus, the boat available for beautiful nature walks in the marsh. A recommendable place without hesitation.
