Relax on the property or use it as a base for bush walking in the nearby Mount Cole State forest or visiting the Pyrenees wineries. Abundant wildlife including wallabies, echidnas & wide assortment of birdlife. 15 km from Beaufort. Cosy cast iron chiminea on the deck; firewood supplied. EV Car charger (Level 2). Sadly, the historic meditation temple (c.1995) was destroyed in the February 2024 bushfire.

101 Love Shack

Our rustic 1903 mud-brick studio is made from river sand and mud sourced from the local Great Western area. The studio was built as a fruit kitchen by the Patching family who owned and operated a number of orchards along Concongella Creek and Salt Creek. The fruit kitchen has been recently renovated into a 1-bed studio which offers history and modern comforts. The cottage is surround by farm land meaning there is an abundance of animals to watch and enjoy, including Kangaroos.

Dacelo is a luxurious retreat based at the foot of Boronia Peak and a 10 minute stroll from the centre of Halls Gap. This 3 bedroom luxury property can sleep up to 8 people and has 2 living areas and 2 bathrooms. It is convenient to Halls Gap village restaurants and bars as well as close to many of the hiking trails. The house is showing its age a little (built in late 1970s), but it is cosy and homely. Our very unique and slightly quirky accommodation is based in a beautiful private country setting in Great Western, a short 45- minute drive from the foothills of the Grampians. Originally a shipping container, it has been repurposed with a range of up-cycled and preloved items curated with care. It is set in a quiet little pocket surrounded by native bushland with an abundance of native fauna.
