Home to rent by the sea

Catherine’s accommodation is extremely homely and in beautiful surroundings. Not too close to the town but not too far either. Catherine is very friendly and welcoming and attentive to her guests. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish, we even stayed an extra night.
The image showcases a three-story townhouse with a combination of brick and siding, situated in a village setting. Vibrant red flowers are visible in the foreground, adding a touch of color to the landscaped area. Street elements such as a lamp post and trees can also be seen.

Grattan House, Salthill, Galway

MichelleRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grattan Holiday Apartments, car parking out the back, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen and within walking distance to the beach, local pubs and restaurants. It's about a 20 minute walk into Galway city and taxi back is around €10. Highly recommend a stay here. Sean and Cathal are on hand if you need them and will recommend places to visit and eat

Saltcliff Cottage - Sea Views to Aran Islands

PatriciaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our family loved the cottage. The views and sunsets were just beautiful. It is 2 minutes from Cliffs if Moher and about 8 minutfrom Doolin. It was a nice touch to have breakfast foods for the first morning. The hot tub was an added bonus. We had a great dinner at Russell Seafood and listened to music at McDermotts.

Eden Cottage Countryside Retreat

ErinRating, 5 stars14 months ago
This was our second stay at Mark’s Eden Retreat Cottage. We stayed there last year and loved it so much we came again this year. The size was perfect for a small group of friends on a combined business and leisure trip. We love the spacious kitchen and especially the little fireplace. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and just a short trip into town for supplied, pubs, busses, shopping, etc. Last year we used the hottub but this year it was out of service. Mark notified us in advance of this and compensated us for the inconvenience, which I appreciated very much.. Mark is a great communicator! Will stay again. Thank you!

The Crows Nest, Crumlin Park, Ballyglunin, Galway

MatthiasRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were more than satisfied with the accommodation. We were greeted by horses and the extremely sweet little dog Minnie, and then by delicious scones in the apartment. The area is beautiful and we went on several day trips to Connemara National Park, Burren National Park, the Aran Islands/Cliffs of Moher and Galway. What's more, the area was just perfect for us and the children. My daughters loved feeding the horses and playing with Minnie the dog. Or, if it rains a little, there is additional room for playing, which is equipped with some toys, table tennis, etc. Maura responded quickly to minor problems and helped us out, and was generally very accommodating. If we ever visit Ireland again, we will definitely stop by here again.

Pat and Mary Angela are marvellous hosts. When we arrived the fires were lit, the table was set and there were gorgeous scones made by Mary Angela. They are both so friendly and gave lots of recommendations of places to visit. Their lovely cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Galway. It is definitely a home from home. My husband and I along with our 3 adult children and 2 Jack Russells had a great time there and we had everything we needed. We also loved Pat and Mary Angela's cafe and bookshop in Oughterard Village. Well worth a visit. Couldn't recommend this cottage highly enough!

Cosy cottage close to the sea and village.

CaroleRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Very comfy stay- Stunning garden and views Milk, eggs and bread a nice touch but didn’t like all the part used food products from previous guests. The craft village just along the road was nice to look around and the cafe there was exceptional. It would be good to know which local bars have live music and dance. We had a great stay and the weather didn’t let us down either. Thank you

Cliffs of Moher View

IstvánRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The accommodation is clean, spacious, bright and well-equipped, a separate building. It has a perfect sense of privacy and silence. Parking is inside the property, almost under the living room window. It was a pleasant surprise that the third person also got a full-size bed (in the description it was a pull-out sofa). The host was helpful and friendly, he was waiting for us upon arrival. We arrived at low tide, it was a special experience to walk on the sand of the sea and the rocks that had become dry. The stairs leading there are a 2-minute walk. All three of us were happy that we chose this accommodation. Thank you!

Surf view farmhouse cottage

Gwenn’s place is a peaceful retreat with beautiful views of the countryside and glimpses of the ocean. It has a lot of charm and ambiance and we felt like we were really living in the countryside! Reading in the sun room with the quiet fields beyond was a highlight. The house itself has welcoming, warm rooms and Gwenn is a gracious host. We were only sad we couldn’t stay longer. We would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay. It is clean and the location is unbeatable! It was somewhat difficult to find as there are several apartment/condo buildings next to each other, but not too bad. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Galway.

Cottage at Ballyglass Lodge, Ardrahan, Co. Galway

Our stay at James and Ciara's was just wonderful. As soon as we arrived there were so many thoughtful, luxurious touches that made all the difference after a long day of travel, from lovely smelling diffusers and candles and a roaring fire in the woodburner, to fancy Aesop hand soap and the comfiest pillows and mattress ever. There was also a welcome basket containing some treats such as wine and chocolate and Ciara's incredible homemade Irish soda bread. This is the kind of stuff that really makes a difference when staying in an Airbnb! The place was also spotlessly clean and everything was of very high quality. From the get go their communication was super prompt and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, always offering help, advice and recommendations. J&C are some of the nicest and warmest people you'll ever meet. We also got to meet some of their animals which our daughter LOVED, and the setting and outlook from the cottage is just beautiful. One of the best Airbnbs out there!

Kilmihil's Cosy Farm Apartment

DeniseRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay at Downes Farm Cottage! The best part were the views from the backyard! Gorgeous sunsets! Our 13 month old thoroughly enjoyed crawling around on the nicely cut, short grass. I'm telling you, it looked like a golf course! The accommodation is nice. The bed is comfortable. We put the pack N play on the main floor and we slept upstairs so the two levels were nice for that reason. My only issue was the shower. It's an electric shower so if you keep it on ECO setting it's lukewarm, but if you turn it to HIGH it's scalding hot. I like nice, hot showers, but neither of those settings allowed for that. Renae and her husband were very friendly! We were able to wash and dry our clothes there which was great. I highly recommend this Airbnb!
