The house is spectacular, new, very comfortable, spacious, equipped with all the necessary kitchenware to be very comfortable. It has excellent lighting and ventilation. It is in a gated complex, with good security. It is located near Lake Sochagota (10 minutes) and easy to get to the restaurant area and nearby attractions (such as El Pantanos de Vargas). Mrs. Nidia, who gave us the house, was super friendly, with excellent availability to guide us and attentive if we needed anything, immediate response. Thank you very much, an excellent place to spend a few days in Paipa and get to know nearby municipalities such as Duitama and visit the town of Boyacense.

Everything was nicely laid out. Spare blankets are a good thing!! Loved the gas flame fire in the living room. Loved the drying room!! Very useful if you’ve just been to the nearby thermal pools. Already marked as a “recommended or will book again if and when there’s a return trip to Colombia.

If you're looking for a break from the routine and a deep connection with nature, this is the place to be. We had a dream weekend, surrounded by spectacular landscapes that invited calm and contemplation. The mini house was a perfect getaway, and the attention we received was good. It was a total disconnection experience that my husband and I really enjoyed. A hidden gem worth discovering!

It is a peaceful and quiet place, with a lot of nature around, however, if you have a small car you should be careful on the access because the car can get a little damaged underneath.

Excellent accommodation, Juan responded to my concerns very quickly, he was always attentive and facilitated the check in a little earlier since we arrived very early, the cabin is very nice, the kitchen is well equipped, the shower has to be adjusted since it can be very hot or very cold, but Mrs. Jazmín was very kind and adjusted the temperature, she also helped us with the campfire that we wanted to make in the lagoon, the cabin is close to the village where you can buy things to make dinners and breakfasts, and there are many activities that can be done in the lagoon, for which Juan also provided us with contacts, very satisfied, we had a great time!!!

Ligia was very responsive throughout our stay and reached out to us while we were there to make sure all was good. The view is stunning and the place is surrounded by onion fields where you can see the workers and their hard work. The farm workers live underneath the AIrbnb however we were never disturbed by them. Just normal day life noise. We loved the kingsize bed, which is never easy to find. We love Lago de Tota. This was our second time in the area. It is great for cycling as the roads are pretty quiet especially on the West side of the lake. If we go back to Lago de Tota, we will stay in Ligia's place again.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Paipa This apartment near Lake Sochagota is a gem! Perfectly located for exploring Boyacá with thoughtful furnishings for a comfortable stay. The place was impressively clean upon arrival. Viviana, who managed our check-in, provided exceptional service, responded promptly to questions and patiently handled ID requirements. Her local recommendations for restaurants and desserts became highlights of our trip. The only minor drawback was the thin walls, allowing us to hear neighbors occasionally. This wasn't a major issue and not something hosts can control in the building's construction. For anyone exploring the lush, green landscapes of Boyacá, this apartment is the perfect base. The convenient location, comfortable amenities, and outstanding hospitality made our experience memorable. We would book this place again for future visits!

I recommend it very nice, very comfortable and the customer service very good, I would come back tomorrow if I could haha; the only thing I would recommend for future guests is that when arriving in Paipa by waze or Google maps they look by the name of the building and do not be guided by the address or the link of arbnb, since it has a fault and you end up elsewhere, a clearly issue of the app and not from the hosts but it's worth mentioning so that it doesn't happen to more people.
