Kelly was a wonderful host and her place was perfect for me, my partner, and my pup to spend some time at. She was super responsive and even sent us an HDMI chord when we needed one! Would definitely recommend.

A small group of friends and I stayed at Anne’s place for our best friends wedding. Needless to say, this was the perfect spot. Anne’s place was utterly beautiful and peaceful. The house was so cozy and quaint, the family photos on the wall that depicted the home from a different generation made our stay that much more special. We felt so at home and it was the perfect place to unwind and celebrate our friend. Anne went above and beyond by providing us with fresh eggs, juices, and a variety of other breakfast items. Cooking in the rustic kitchen was hands down our favorite part! 10/10 would recommend staying at Anne’s place!

Great spot near downtown Lynchburg in the historic district. Very thoughtful design and finishes throughout. Would recommend!

This was our second time staying at Kira’s place and it was another great experience. We travel with our dogs and the cabin is the perfect place for them explore the woods or run around the yard. The cabin itself is very well equipped with kitchen appliances, electronics etc. The cabin is conveniently located less than 15 minutes from downtown where you can visit Three Roads Brewing or one of the several restaurants.

It is always a pleasure to stay with Angelique. Her property is always clean and fresh. It feels like coming home and is very cozy. The amenities are wonderful and Angelique thinks of everything when she adds her personal touches to the apartment. She is always pleasant and responsive. This is a great place to stay because you are not in the heart of the city and that takes you away from the hustle and bustle, the noise, and all the traffic in town. This is just a great place to go and unwind and feel welcomed and happy.

Lovely placed to stay! My children loved staying at Luke’s house! Will definitely be staying there again! Beds were super comfortable! And the kitchen had the basic needs to prepare a meal 10/10. Highly recommended!

Cheryl’s home was absolutely beautiful and squeaky clean! I did get a little nervous when we didn’t receive the address but I reached out and she gave it to me. The only thing we had a problem with was the door keypad. At times it appeared to have been jammed or something. Overall, I rate Cheryl’s place a 10 out of 10. Prayerfully, we can stay again in the near future.

We had such a great time at hilltop Hideaway. We were surprised to find a lot of really fun activities within a reasonable drive. Pool was beautiful and we loved lounging by it. The views were amazing & we enjoyed the fire pit & hot tub!! Aida was very responsive! Would definitely visit again!

Karen was very pleasant & quick to respond. We rented her home for our son’s wedding. She gave great recommendations & took care of a problem right upon arrival. The home was beautiful, we had plenty of space for our family & loved being able to bring our dog. The master bath floor & tub wasn’t the cleanest, I don’t blame that at all on the host, I’m sure it can be hard with cleaners managing a property. And the steps going upstairs weren’t swept. I didn’t want to bother her again, as she had already taken care of a problem for us earlier, so we just went with it, it wasn’t unbearable. Beds were comfy. Towels were nice, washcloths may need a little updating, but overall, it was what we needed & served its purpose.

The house is in a great location. It’s true to the pictures. The host was very communicative. Great amenities & used them all. The kitchen is very well stocked. Loved the pool, fire pit & screened in porch for relaxing evenings. Beds are comfortable with clean linens. Great experience overall.

We've stayed at this property before and because of the beautiful apartment, the kindness and responsiveness of the hosts we returned. This time we had a special request to accomodate a horse we are traveling with, yes, a horse. We were able to work out this special request because of their kindness. It made this stay very very enjoyable beyond words that can describe! Since we last stayed they've added a pool that was so refreshing on the hot Virginia days! We will definitely return!!!

Brittany place was clean and well stocked with lots of extras. The location was wonderful. Easy to walk to great hikes, wonderful restaurants, farmers market and local shops. I would highly recommend this place!

I stayed in the cabin on the river, I must say it was probably the best few days I’ve ever had. Such a beautiful and peaceful set up, not to mention the farm as a whole was amazing. I will definitely be back!

Everything was great! From instructions to getting to the farm to checking into the house. House was clean and it fit our family of 6 comfortably. Scenery was amazing and farm animals looked great. I love that the farm help let us be involved as much as we wanted. We could watch him feed the animals or help him feed. He also told us a lot about them. There are walking trails but they could be marked better. Check out was late enough to sleep in a little and have breakfast and not rush out. The horseback riding was great! I learned a lot and very helpful. We had a great time reconnecting with family and enjoying nature.

This place was amazing, an unforgetable expierce for me and my family! Dan and Chrissy were very good hosts!

If you’re looking for a peaceful spot on the river, punctuated by an occasional train whistle (across the river), this is it! Bryan and Wanda made sure we had what we needed and were very kind. The cabin is low on frills but we expected that. Access to the river is very easy and our son enjoyed several afternoon floats. Paddlemore was terrific for a weekend stay.

We had a wonderful time! We were in town for the Liberty University graduation, and it’s a bit of a drive … about 35-40 minutes, but the place is adorable! We went looking for the farm “store” which isn’t much of a store… but when I asked about eggs they brought me some the next morning! We had delicious farm fresh eggs every morning 🙂 would definitely stay again if we ever need to be back near Lynchburg!

Fantastic, private getaway spot just 15 minutes from historic Appomattox and 35 minutes from bustling Lynchburg. Great location to take strolls which give way to amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and incredible sunsets. Friendly area where everyone waves hello. The yard is completely fenced in with fire pit and hot tub. We didnt get a chance to use the projector screen for outdoor movie night but will when we return! Highly recommend for couples.

The perfect getaway for us and our two pups. A great location to get away, disconnect, and relax. Peaceful, secluded, gorgeous surroundings. No noise except the nature all around you. The cabin itself has everything you need to feel right at home. As well-appointed inside as it is rustic on the outside. Comfy, cozy, and clean. Can't wait to come back!
