The house was exactly what we wanted. It was fully stocked with everything that you could possibly need and more. It was clean and neat. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. We had more than enough firewood to use during our stay. The yard was perfect for our 10 month old to play in. The street was semi private which we liked. We have been going to olcott for years and this is by far the best place we have stayed at. It was just a short walk to watch the sunset. Definitely pleased with our stay and looking forward to booking with him again.

Shopping, ice cream and farm stands, wineries, restaurants, state parks and Niagara Falls all within a nice distance, not too far. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Sarah’s place was amazing ! Extremely peaceful and just what we were looking for ! No distractions, and loved everything about this place !! Sarah is very responsive and accommodating. Definitely recommend reading her journey on how the house was built step by step and was in aw of it. Would love to stay here again next time.

My time away from the city was refreshing! John and Brie welcomed me on a quad, which gave me nostalgia. The place, mostly handmade by John, had such nice craftsmanship. Topped with Brie's decorative touch. Sturdy and comfortable. The table by the fire pit, has a bum imprint sanded right into the bench, it's great. I loved cooking breakfast while watching the sunrise and then relaxing by the campfire at night, listening to the sounds of the wildlife. We hiked various trails and even spotted a buck with velvet antlers! Getting a bit lost was easy to manage with the Google Earth GPS John showed me, and by the last hike, my dog was used to the place and helped us find our way back. The outdoor shower, sauna, hot tub, and then hammock felt like a spa/retreat. There is so much more I could share, but trust me, if you are from the city and need a getaway, this place is a way to reconnect with mother nature. Thank you, John and Brie, for an unforgettable experience. We will be back soon

Absolutely 5 star accommodations across the board. We had a wonderful stay and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Great price and easily accessible. Pet friendly and our dog loved to play with Luna. I would highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to this area. Next time I am in town and need a place to stay I will definitely stay here!!
