Dario was very nice, the house is very nice, it has a wonderful view and Altagnana is a great place to spend a few days in peace and make a base for exploring the Apuan Alps!

Gabriele's cottage is in a strategic location both to reach the beaches and to reach other destinations, even famous ones, nearby. The house is clean and suitable for 2 people, well stocked with bath and kitchen linens and also dishes, pots and cutlery. I used the kitchen with induction cooktop very easily and so did the coffee machine and microwave. Upon arrival, we found the fridge already cold and with bottles of fresh water, clearly much appreciated. Also, Gabriele and I often texted each other and I always received a response. In summary, I highly recommend Casa Dorotea. Giuseppina

Marvelous place. Artfully decorated, squeaky clean, very spacious. We stayed here as the hub for day trips to cinque terre and the Apuan Alps. Greeted with a very friendly welcome upon arrival complete with helpful tips for getting around Central Massa. Bed is very comfortable. Felt right at home!

Very nice house. Everything you need. Very quiet location - the perfect relaxation. The view of the sea and Forte dei Marmi is wonderful. Fortunately, it's always 6 degrees less than on the beach. Recommended there Le Dune. The access to the last 300 m is not paved and a bit challenging. To Cinquale we needed about 20 minutes by car. From there you can do numerous activities in Tuscany. Best by train from Massa. Carla was super nice and always helpful. We (family of four) had a great time at il girasole.

Altagnana is a beautiful village, in a great location for beautiful walks in the northern Apuan Alps and at the same time very close to Massa where you can find restaurants, shops, etc. (not to mention that the sea is also nearby!) The house is nice and as described (as mentioned in other reviews, the steep stairs to go to the rooms and the bathroom could be an impediment for those with mobility problems). The owners were helpful and kind.

An outdoor dining area is presented on a spacious terrace, featuring a table set with plates and glasses. Surrounding the table, several woven chairs provide seating. In the background, a panoramic view of the city and sea is visible through large glass doors.
