Being pet friendly and having a large fenced in area for them to run around in was very nice.

What a wonderful place to relax! Everything was perfect, from the fully stocked kitchen to the comfy patio lounge chairs & bed, the fire pit with lots of wood all chopped & ready to go and best of all the hot tub! Bonus was the visiting deer which were fun to feed using the supplied apples! Highly recommend this secluded cottage on the river if you’re looking for a quiet getaway! The cottage was exactly as described in the listing! We booked this cottage because it was so close to our daughter’s wedding but it ended up being a mini vacation as well! Thank you!

I stayed at the copper cabin for 2 months with my dog and it was awesome. Felt like home away from home. It was very clean, peaceful, and host was great. Maurice was great to communicate with and couldn’t do enough to make sure my stay was perfect. Whether someone is looking for a weekend away or a longer term stay, check this place out.

Wonderful place to stay. We met some less than ideal weather for adventuring with our 2 year old and couldn’t have picked a better spot to lay low for a couple nights. The space is beautiful and yet the setting steals the show. The team is working very hard to ensure the experience of staying at Ridge on the Chimney is a once in a lifetime.

We had a wonderful stay! Patrick and Sarah provided clear and detailed instructions for our arrival. The cottage exceeded our expectations and was even bigger and brighter than pictured. We were a large group of two families (all adults) and everyone had plenty of room for sleeping and belongings. We followed the provided directions and walked to some lovely hiking trails close by. The cottage has modern amenities and was well stocked with almost anything you’d need to enjoy your stay.

The idea was to chill out and recharge by the lake - and that's what happened. We had a terrific time and the staff were so responsive and helpful. Hot tub was excellent and looking out on a stunning view. Great little touches like a welcome gift for Archie the dog too which always helps!

We stayed for long term due to work in the area and Paul was an excellent host. Would highly recommend this place to stay in the area. Very comfortable and clean.

As advertised. Close enough to Charlottetown and out in the country near water. My grandson enjoyed the pool. Nice and quiet even on the weekends. Aundrea was a wonderful host

We loved our stay here! The cabin was so cute and cozy with a lovely backyard. Nice and close to town and the beach. Would stay here again for sure!

Loved this little cabin. It was rustic but had everything we needed. Very private and lovely views. Kitchen was well equipped and tastefully appointed. Lots of hot water for showers. Laundry facility was appreciated. Very friendly staff.

Beautiful spot, we enjoyed our stay. We will be back and would recommend to friends! Great location by the water and hiking trail nearby.

I will not rent an AirBNB again. Fees are two high. Rental price ok but fees make it to expensive. Maybe if everything was new it would not be an issue.

We could absolutely see ourselves selecting Sally's Brook again on another Cape Breton adventure. 100% recommend if your looking for a cabin experience!

Clean, comfortable, close to all the downtown restaurants, and a great updated kitchen since the pictures! Comfortable bed and lots of homey touches. Hosts were responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Cozy spot with everything you need for a long weekend stay. Located close to the snowmobile trails which is exactly what we were looking for. Our host was extra helpful sourcing us some tools when one of our sleds needed a fix. 100% would recommend!

As a retired home renovator, I was extremely impressed by the innovative personal design of almost every part of the shanty being handmade. The last 2 1/2 years that I’ve been living in the Canadian maritime (NB) away from southern Ontario, seeing the outside the box innovation for ecological use of construction materials (and reuse) to make wonderfully appointed buildings projects. East coast decor styling makes for a calming, rustic and charming pleasant stay in this shanty cabin. Kim made me feel welcome as soon as I pulled up in my vehicle. The cabin is extremely clean, simply laid out, airy and comfortable. The fresh ocean breeze mixed with the pleasant cedar wood sent of cabins main construction material only adds to the relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend a stay here, I’m sure the next time I visit PEI I’ll be booking here again. Thank you so much Kim for allowing me this last minute booking, otherwise I would have missed out on this wonderful experience at your place.

A quiet location with a waterfront view deck was what we were looking for and found. The drive through the tranquil countryside to get the cabin or to the highway was a nice start or finish to a day. My buddy appreciated the quality of the BBQ that was on site. Kitchen well stocked with quality cookware which was appreciated.

This place was gorgeous! So quiet and peaceful, and the bed was sooooo comfy! Yes you are close to the host but we never seen them and they respected our space! Even though we would’ve said hello, they never invaded the space, just let us enjoy our vacay! Very quick to answer and so so nice, had everything readily available in the house as well! We will definitely return :)

What a gem! SUPER close to the rotary but yet feels like you could be out in the country. We had a nice chat with our hosts followed by a very relaxing evening (don't be put off for even a second by the proximity to the house beside the cottage as we felt very left alone to our privacy, yet Brenda was available for any questions). We spent most of our night relaxing under a tree canopy on the deck and it was perfect. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and very clean. Super comfy bed and the softest sheets!! We will definitely book again!

The cabin is very private and in a beautiful location. The view is spectacular. I would call the accommodations refined rustic which matches the location. You can hear the waves on the beach just a short walk down a path. The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The cabin was spacious. Truly a lovely, relaxing get-away!
