Adam was a great host. He met us at the tiny cabin and explained the details of the cabin and what to do around the area. Adams place is very peaceful and off the grid. His property is walkable and the pathway is a loop around beautiful nature on the property. There is a lot to do in the area and the close to the surrounding towns that you can get to within a 10 to 20 minute drive. We'll be back again.

Anthony is an amazing host!!!!! He is very responsive and proactive, he even picked up a package for me before I got there and placed it on the inside. The home is quiet, it’s part of the owners home but you would never know because there was perfect silence and respect. We did see the garden being tended to and that made me feel a little more at home😊 I loved it even more because the home is surrounded by beautiful trees and foliage. I would definitely go back

Wonderful stay in a lovely house with unique welcoming charm in a great location. The attention to detail made us feel at home. We loved the screened-in room. It felt like sitting in the woods without the mosquitos. Bruce was a super responsive host. Highly recommended.

Robin's place is in a quiet and beautiful setting. It is very peaceful and comfortable. The house was wonderful. It was very comfortable, and it immediately felt just like home. Robin has done a great job of providing extras, such as spices and condiments in the kitchen, which is very well equipped. The inside decor is lovely. The outside seating areas provide a great place to relax. Although the property is in a secluded area, it is only a short drive to local restaurants, shops, etc. Robin is a wonderful host to clearly communicates and goes above and beyond to assure that her guests have everything they need. We would definitely book another stay in the future.

Catskills River Cottage - 2BR

Our family had a lovely time at the Creekside Retreat. We arrived to a clean house with clear instructions for entering. Parking was convenient to the front door. We settled in and played scrabble which was provided by the host in the game cabinet. The second day we enjoyed a great breakfast at a local diner and went hiking about 20 miles away at Minnewaska state park. There was also a walking trail much closer we may check out on another trip. There was a park nearby my children walked to play baseball. Our two dogs made themselves at home. The creek was flooded so we weren’t able to enjoy the deck on it or the boat - maybe next time. The hot tub also didn’t work while we were there but we didn’t realize until later in our stay so it may have been a simple solution. The host generously left towels, blankets, and toiletries but we couldn’t find wash cloths. Wood was left out for the fire. Overall, we had what we needed for a great weekend getaway.

We found Sarah's Airbnb listing while looking for a place to stay for the Bard College Commencement. Communication and instructions were seamless. Sarah and family have a wonderful home. It is inviting, clean and very peaceful. We enjoyed hanging out on the first floor, where the furniture is very comfortable. We were excited to find games and a deck of cards. We also slept extremely well. I especially enjoyed waking each morning and drinking my coffee, while sitting on the sofa looking out the window at the beautiful scenery. Sarah's home is less than a 10 minute drive to Bard, restaurants and many other places to explore. We hope to stay here again in the future.
