Beachfront vacation rentals in Andros Island

this was a great accommodation for my monthly stay in Nassau. the location was convenient, the rooms were neat and clean (very large bathroom)! and the complementary car was needed and appreciated. there are surrounding rooms on the property that are cleaned on a rotating basis, so there is movement and energy on the property during the day sometimes. otherwise, peaceful and perfect to spend time outside around the garden. the kitchen was a tad small in this unit since I was cooking often, however all appliances (cooking plate and fridge) were very appreciated. lastly, the cost of the car is an investment (as mandatory insurance is needed). budget accordingly. Megan and the property manager are welcoming, caring, and responsive and I thank you for a great stay.

Tamara was a most responsive host - always friendly and quick in her replies. You’ll have everything you need there. Her place is clean and as described. The gym is great! Cable Beach is chill - you will not be able to go for a long walks on the beach in front of the complex - it’s is short and with jetties on both sides; there’s no chairs or set-up on the beach itself. The pool was great - always could find a chair & shade/sun. The kitchen was well stocked and made food prep easy. You might consider renting a car depending on how long you were there. Every taxi ride was a minimum of $40 regardless of where you went. Buses got crowded during the week. We got into the habit of walking to BahaMar if we wanted to eat out. It was very handy to have basics at Smittys right next door - along with frozen yogurt and a liquor store. Tamara was also kind enough to set us up with the wonderful Monique who had easy taxi rides for us during the week. All in all, a great stay!

We had a great stay! The location was perfect, the space was clean and comfortable, and Megan’s communication was excellent. Having a rental car made getting around easy, and the airport pickup/drop-off was super convenient. Carmen was very helpful with instructions and local tips. We’d definitely stay here again!

Initially a bit hesitant since the house had no reviews—but it turned out to be a fantastic find! It’s much more spacious than expected and comfortably accommodates 13 people (though some will need to share a bathroom). The open-plan living room and kitchen area was perfect for our group, with plenty of seating, and the outdoor space was ideal in the evenings, offering a lovely view of the garden, pool, and ocean. Surprisingly, the TV had what seemed like over 3,000 channels—we could even watch European soccer, which was a fun bonus (I need that setup at home!). The location is the real highlight: just a short walk to grocery stores and restaurants. Everything is just minutes away, and we barely needed the car—even though we had one. The pool area was quiet and practically felt private, and the nearby beach, while small, was perfect for our short stay. Overall, the house looks exactly like the photos. We’ll definitely be back—this is a rare gem and a solid 5.

Lou is an absolutely fantastic host. From the very beginning always responsive and engaging with us to make sure we were up to date and kept informed. Lou was also extremely accommodating. The place was exactly what we expected from the listing, bright, clean and had all the amenities we required. Comfortable beds, lots of space and very well taken care of. Everyone absolutely enjoyed the stay and would not hesitate to get any property from Lou in the future. Thank you Lou for making our stay amazing and memorable!

Fabulous house on a secluded beach. Ideal for families with small children. A wonderful surround deck to stay in the shade and breeze. Shallow water for young kids but with a protected bay for swimming and paddle boarding. Ron and Evie were ready to help at all times. A great spot to get away from it all.

This place was in a great location. We went to several different beaches around the island and did excursions and everything was pretty close by. Definitely take the rental car offer so you aren’t relying on taxis the whole time we enjoyed being able to come and go as we wanted. Parking on the island is easy to find but may want to bring cash for the few places that charge for parking (we only paid for parking in paradise island) Megan and carmine were super friendly and helpful and gave us great recommendations. Definitely try the Swiss pastry shop that’s close by! (They’re cash only) also Plan to bring cash so you don’t have to use the atms here there aren’t very many accessible that are close or convenient. You get better deals when buying things with cash. We will definitely be back here in the near future this place was great.

This was a great area. Our host was very responsive and even brought some extra bulbs over when I let her know one was out. The unit was walkable to restaurants/bars, the beach, and the pools, and we felt safe. I recommend the Oasis 7 excursion with snorkeling and swimming with the pigs. There were 3 stops at private islands. Cabbage beach was the best beach of Junkanoo, Cabbage, Cable, and the Sandyport beach. Baha Mar is known to be the casino that pays out more when compared to Atlantis. The buses are easy to use and only $1.50/person and are air conditioned and clean. One even had a huge TV in it. Most places have the same items for Bahamas gear, so get yours at the Straw Market downtown and never take the first price. The cost of food was shockingly expensive, but this is a small island with almost everything imported.

Tatjana’s apartment was even better than described. So spacious and well designed, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need. The pool and beach area were stunning and the fact that you could do water sports right from the beach was a big plus. Lovely location. The beach towels, cool box and snorkelling gear was so handy to take out and explore the beautiful beaches. Would highly recommend hiring a car so you can get anywhere you’d like. Tatjana is a wonderful host - super helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for our stay.

Judith and her team did an amazing job. Our entire experience from booking until we checked out just flowed, as the communication by email was chocked fully of information and easy-to-follow instructions. I would gladly stay on the property again!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying here! We spent a lot of time out back on the porch and sundeck. There wasn't a ton of shade and the beach swimming was a bit rocky so water shoes and sun shirts were helpful for those of us who had them. The first floor living area was also very spacious and comfortable for meals and relaxing in the evenings. Two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms were on the 2nd floor and 2 other bedrooms with a shared bathroom were on the 3rd. This allowed us to spread out and have enough space for all. Michelle and the property team were really tremendous in their customer service and support. Thanks for being so helpful and welcoming!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. One of the nicest Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. Clean, modern, gorgeous, well located and very safe!! Walking distance to Atlantis. The pool was definitely the best part. It was absolutely perfect. The hosts were great and very responsive. Would recommend without a doubt!!

This is a great Airbnb with a perfect location. We walked to the public section of Cabbage Beach almost every day ($20 to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella). We also walked to Anthony’s Restaurant for Happy Hour 3-6pm (B1G1 drinks and $14 appetizers). Also within walking distance is the ferry to Nassau ($7 each way) and the huge Atlantis resort. There is a small, very expensive and sparse, grocery store nearby, along with a liquor store. Everything was close, which was great. The home was a tad challenging to locate at first, but that’s because it was night when we arrived and our taxi driver ($45 from airport) didn’t follow the directions Jasmine sent to us. Getting in was easy and we were pleased to find such a lovely, comfortable place to call home for a week. The place was stocked with most everything we needed. Jasmine was very responsive when I requested a new hair dryer, and had it to us within hours. If we ever travel back, we would definitely stay again.

John's place is truly heaven on earth. Walk outside and right into the beach and ocean. The beds, rooms, amenities were all fantastic. The site manager was very quick to respond to inquiries. If you come here and you want to explore, I highly recommend you rent a car (we did). It is on the quieter side of the island which was a welcome benefit. We would certainly come back.

Great place, great location. Easy to walk or shuttle to Royal Towers. Check in was a breeze, property had all the amenities as described. Thank you….hope to be back soon.

This condo was absolutely beautiful! We were next to the Atlantis so we had the best of both worlds. I’d highly recommend it. Linda Tucker

One Cable beach was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. The unit was spotless . There was plenty of towels and the kitchen had plenty of condiments and cooking utensils. The pool is absolutely amazing with a beautiful beach view. It was within safe, walking distance to BaHaMar. 5 star host that was extremely responsive. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Arrived and were taken to our unit and given all instructions. 2 pools (note: not heated) and we couldn't believe how close we were to the beach - easy to run back and forth all day. Easy walk to the marina with liquor store, groceries, Dunkin, other restaurants as well as Atlantis. We did the day pass there, which was enough - I was happy we chose the AirBnB vs. the hotel - more our speed (kids are 12 and 9). Spent every night playing Yahtzee on the awesome patio, listening to the waves crash. Unit size was plenty and had all necessary kitchen + bath items. The onsite restaurant was great; recommend ordering to-go to save time. Neighbors were friendly and we loved the cats!! Our family can't wait to go back!

Chauncy's place was a very nice out-of-the-way quiet peaceful place. We really enjoyed the outside space, especially the pool. The pool was a perfect size for a relaxing break in the day. The location was really good for being near most everything needed. Plus, if you rent a car, like we did, it really opens up a lot of different areas of the island that you can get to. The place had everything we needed, the two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a very nice size place to enjoy the Bahamas. We will definitely be staying there again, and soon.....

Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt in dieser Unterkunft, alles sehr sauber, bestens ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt und darüber hinaus. Sie haben auch noch Wasser in Galonen kostenlos dazu gereicht, also alles super. Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.
