Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Anderson Island

My sister and I had a very relaxing stay. The house was cozy and very clean with fabulous views. The lilac was in bloom so everything smelled wonderful, too. The handbook is a bit vague in places (no list of recyclable items and no instructions for the for the hot tub) but the hosts were very responsive to questions. A very peaceful escape.

Cute place amongst the trees yet only minutes away from downtown Gig Harbor. It was exactly as described and very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

The house is roomy and spacious. Lots of different places to gather and hang out. It's pretty remote, I would suggest bringing food on arrival as the closest store is 20 minute drive. You can't beat the views as it might be the most special part of the house. Perfect place to relax and recharge.

Our stay at the Ostrich nest was great! Right on the water, with plenty of amenities and a fantastic outdoor space to take advantage of. We kayaked around the island in about 95 leisurely minutes using the provided kayaks and paddles. A/C was available but not needed - yet good to know it was there. The kitchen had everything you'd expect from a short term rental as well. All in all, it was a good weekend.

We had an amazing stay at the Eagle's Lookout Lodge! The place is so cozy and comfortable and the views inside and outside are stunning! We loved the different spaces to play and hang out in. The deck is magical, and is perfect for those hot and sunny days as you're nestled in beautiful shaded trees. We loved eating outside and having quiet evening chats around the fire pit. Melissa was very responsive and available for any needs or questions, and there were some real lovely personal touches to the place and experience. I can't wait to come back!

Our stay was really wonderful. The house was kid-friendly and even had toys for our grandkids to play with. The space was great and very clean. The master suite was very roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed walking around the island. We planned to use the beautiful fire pit but ran out of time. The only thing better would have been to stay longer on the island. It was our first time to Washington so we did a lot of sight seeing during the days. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We were extremely pleased with our stay. The house was quaint and so well decorated. The bed was very comfortable, and plenty of room to hang and store our clothes for the week. We had everything we needed and more. The house was spotless. Monica thought of everything for her guests. We will definitely stay at this house again on our next trip to Tacoma. I highly recommend Monica for the entire experience!

Margaritaville was the perfect family escape—bright, breezy and beyond comfy. From the moment we walked in, everything sparkled clean and felt instantly cheerful. The beds? Like sleeping on a cloud after a long day of fun. Location-wise, you can’t beat it: Tee off at the golf course next door - my husband hasn't golfed in years, what a delightfully hilarious afternoon on a sunny day to whack a ball! Stroll the scenic path straight to the Lakeshore Restaurant - and the cocktail bar with a kid-friendly atmosphere. We immersed ourselves in island events—Farm Days was a blast! My daughter loved the arts & crafts tent (and making new furry friends). Whether you’re chasing relaxation or adventure, this spot delivers. We’re already counting down the days until our return—book it now, thank us later, and thank you Laura for catering to our every whim and being a truly amazing host.

Victorias place was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The Captains Quarters are a must stay place if you’re in long branch/lakebay. It felt like we were truly a captain of a ship, especially since the view was absolutely amazing. Victoria was so responsive, kind, and gave local recommendations. The private beach is even more gorgeous than the pictures, and it felt like a getaway from home. Our only regret is that we didn’t do more on the property! Would definitely stay here again. Props to Victoria and the amazing space!

We had a fantastic stay! The home had everything we needed: a full kitchen, clean bathroom, two comfy bedrooms, two cozy sitting rooms, and a washer/dryer—which was a huge help with our baby. It was fully stocked with fresh linens, towels, and blankets. The outdoor patio with a fire pit and stunning water views was a perfect place to relax. Jill and Gregg were wonderful hosts—warm, responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Jill even greeted us with homemade brownies and a bottle of wine! The house is family-friendly and included a pack and play, which made traveling with our 4-month-old so much easier. If you’re visiting the Fox Island or Gig Harbor area, don’t hesitate—this place is a gem. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great host and beautiful apartment. Sweet outdoor space. Very quiet and clean with everything we needed for a nice stay. The unit has quite a few stairs leading up to it and steps inside to be aware of for elderly or those with physical challenges. Great stay and I would stay here again for sure.

The apartment looks on onto the lake and it was very nice to sit out on the patio watching sea planes and boaters. The interior was comfortable, stylish, and very clean. I felt the mattress was quite comfortable. Easy parking right out front. While the apartment is on a busy road, it was not disruptive and it didn't bother us at all during the night. The communication was great and proactive. I would definitely stay here again!

This was my second time at the Woodsy Retreat and it was wonderful, again. Enjoyed a hike through the State Forest, the hot tub, and all the goodies and snacks! Perfect place to relax and get away from it all!

We had a wonderful and peaceful vacation weekend in Allyn! Fang’s home was easy to get to and settle into. We loved watching the water and tides, and it was easy to walk to restaurant, coffee shops and more. We spent most of our days on day trips in the region (Staircase Ridge & Hama Hama Oysters, and the Tacoma Zoo). This was the perfect place to recharge. We also loved the kayaks and hot tub, and generally cozy space. Fang was proactive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay as well.

I hesitate to reveal how great Carl's place is because I don't want it to become so popular that it becomes hard for me to book. The setting is spectacular. If you like to cook, the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans everything you need. There are also basic staples that renters can use. If you don't like to cook, a lakeside restaurant is a short walk from Carl's. The restaurant is currently open Wed- Sun. We went on a couple of short hikes that were close by. Millersylvania Park is about a 15 min. drive. We also enjoyed seeing the Monarch Butterfly Sculpture Garden. Lots of outdoor art and a fun area for kids (or adults) to play in. I had some questions for Carl and he always responded quickly and clearly. Carl and Sue make available everything that the renter might forget to bring: Toothbrushes, Q-tips, shampoo, etc. Did I mention the jar of chocolates? We are not fishing enthusiasts, but it looks like that could be fun. Carl also has kayaks & life vests.

What a beautiful location and immaculate in and out. Never had been to the area and we definitely will be back.

This lake was beautiful. I love that there are no electric/gas motors on the lake. The hot tub was spectacular, the fire pit was great, and the kayaks were in great shape. We took them for a trip around the lake. The water is clear and you can see the bottom almost everywhere. The beds upstairs are so soft and the couch was comfy. Overall a great experience. I felt safe there and it was cozy. 10/10 I would go again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this adorable beach cabin! The place was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated with charming coastal touches that made it feel like a true getaway. We loved being just steps away from the beach. The cabin had everything we needed—comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, and a peaceful outdoor space that was perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The host was kind, responsive, and provided great local recommendations. If you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet, and scenic place to unwind, this beach cabin is a gem. Our dogs love it and we can’t wait to come back!

The view here is absolutely phenomenal! We anticipated it being beautiful; however, you can’t even imagine until you walk into the home. Every glance, you will be in complete awe. The hot tub on the deck is obviously a wonderful feature, but every person in the house seemed to equally like the shower. We left researching how to redo our shower at home, ha! We already ordered the same bathroom towels. Absolute heavenly linens in our opinion. The shore is a short walk from the house. My son loved walking down & was ecstatic when he found several whole seashells on the beach. A few things we did not utilize; however, took notice of: The fully stocked kitchen, the thought that the hosts put into making it a place for families to enjoy, IE: high chairs, mini blinds tied up high, toys, family friendly movies, ect. And several heaters & fans to accommodate various household temps. It was also very clean for being pet friendly which is hard to find. We would definitely stay again.

The most picturesque vintage cabin that felt like we were living in a '50s postcard. So close to the community beach, which was typically empty and we had it all to ourselves!

It was such a tranquil place. Jessica was so proactive and provided us all the information we needed for the trip. My family had a great experience. Will definitely come back!
