Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Anchor Bay

We really enjoyed our stay. The road to get in could have been a little better but it wasn’t that big of a deal. The only problem we had was the weather and there’s nothing you can do about that. We will definitely come back.

Our 2nd stay at Troy’s!!! More trips coming also this summer! As I stated before, super lake front home- just perfect! Safe, restaurant within walking distance! Plenty of room for truck and boat! Close to numerous boat launches! The home is just perfect decor and waking up with the sun/lake in your face makes this home a huge bargain! I have the best experience of my life at the lake house. It was my birthday and it’s always the coldest month of the year but this made it the best birthday Ive ever had. Beautiful inside and we spend to much time in the hot tub that was my highlight because I’m anemic and never felt warm and the beauty of the lake and lights at night was perfect.

We have stayed hear for a week-long stay for three years in a row now. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. The communication was great, and the location makes it easy to walk anywhere downtown. We really enjoyed the private yard on the riverside, and the easy access to the small parks nearby make it a great place to keep the kids active and entertained!

Patrick helped us out with our check-in and out and that was a big help. When asked questions he was a on it! His place is absolutely beautiful and well maintained! Can’t wait to book again!

My husband and his 3 friends stayed here so they could hunt nearby. It was very conveniently located to the ferry and place they wanted to hunt. The host was very nice and helpful and quick to respond. The local pizza joint had great pizza.

Nick is a great host. We had a crazy late check in, and he didn’t sign off until he knew we were squared away (2:00 am). The location is nice and close to everything you want to do in downtown, but kinda tucked away and quiet. We would definitely stay at Nick’s again.

We had a pleasant stay, just a couple small quirks to the place we didn't anticipate, maybe I didn't read the listing close enough, but host was responsive and friendly. Perks were it's a spacious stay and has a comfortable bed. TV and fireplace are nice. Quirks are is a first floor apartment complex with a tenant above and there were banging noises above that kept waking us up. Host responded they'd ask the neighbor to keep down the noise, a great option, however the noise kept happening seemingly every time we tried to sleep. Bath towels are located under the bed in a plastic drawer, which isn't correct from the description given "in dresser" and there were no towels in the bathroom initially, which really confused us. The shower is well water based and has a horrible odor, not much the host can do about this but it made showering quite uncomfortable. I still rated 5 stars due to these being minor quirks, overall the stay was peaceful.

Michael’s place is such a hidden gem! Everything matched the descriptions and photos, the lake view was beautiful, the area was quiet and peaceful. I could truly go on and on about how nice our weekend here was. We definitely plan on coming back!

The place was fantastic. Her directions with pictures made it really easy to find. Check-in was super easy. The place was extremely clean and well stocked. And very quiet. She was extremely responsive. Check out was a breeze. Didn’t make the guest do tons of cleaning. Can’t wait to stay there again soon. was absolutely perfect.

Karen was incredible. It was the perfect place to stay. She was beyond accommodating and it is an adorable room with kitchen and bathroom. She went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. I highly recommend and will always stay here in the future!

Ronald was very helpful and responsive, the place was also very well kept and stocked with amenities.

Allison and Anthony were very responsive and accommodating to my messages. They swiftly handled a noise complaint from another renter in the middle of the night. I really appreciate their response, considering the lateness of the hour. The place was also very clean and located in a quiet area of town. They also offered lots of suggestions on things to do in Detroit. This is one of the best Airbnb units that I have rented over the years. Personally, I think this unit is ideal for one person, however, on a very short stay, it could probably work for two people.

My brothers and I with our significant others always get together for a weekend at the Renaissance Festival in Holly and this was literally the perfect cabin for us - close enough that we could go to and from if we needed a break during our long days at the Faire and peaceful enough at night to come back to and relax or play games like we love to do together. Plenty of space that we could all have beds and felt cozy. The lake is beautiful this time of year and even was warm enough that we could have swam after if we wanted or weren’t warn out from our long days. Parking was easy to figure out even with four vehicles. Host was responsive and super helpful and even allowed us to check in early when we realized that we would rather all drive in together last second. (Whoops! Poor planning on my part.) There was even provided water which was lovely as well, and a really nice touch when it comes to well water! Thank you so much and we will be back!

This was such a special stay and I can't say enough positive things about Jerald's boathouse on the canal. I only had one night there and hated to leave. The photos don't do the space justice, with so many thoughtful touches, tremendous design, and deliciously comfortable furniture. I arrived to a family of geese with little geeselings swimming by and woke up to the sunrise over the water. I loved the quiet community of the canal, with a few boats quietly cruising by, and just wish I'd had time to take the canals out for a treat. Jerald was so helpful with check in and local recommendations. I loved everything about this beautiful little retreat!

Stephanie and Dana's place is great and they answered all of my questions whenever I had concerns. the place is clean and has a fully stocked pantry and kitchen, we enjoyed the pool and rec centre very much. the resort is quiet and clean, the staff and residents are friendly and helpful, unlike other camp grounds that we have been that people were rowdy and loud until midnight. we had a great time relaxing and have fun in Stephanie and Dana's place and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Enjoyed our stay very clean a lot of necessities for us more than expected you really don’t need to bring anything but food they had everything you could think of there to use for cooking supplies… was also was very easy to find and the neighbors around us were nice also would definitely recommend…

The bathtub with jets and hot tub made our stay very enjoyable.

Beautiful property, feels private and remote even though right off the highway. Unique mid-century modern decor/interior design — not your typical sterile, greige cookie cutter Airbnb! Responsive, friendly hosts. I stayed here over the Christmas holiday, and Matt went out of his way to salt/shovel the walkways/driveway the morning of Christmas Eve when it had snowed the previous night. Highly recommend, I would definitely stay here again!
