Vacation rentals with a patio in Ammoudi

This was one of the nicest AirBnB apartments I have rented. What was responsive to questions prior to the trip, arranging taxi service from the airport. Even though our flight was two hours late and we didn't arrive until 10 pm she was there to greet us and show us the apartment. Her restaurant recommendations were outstanding. Finally, the location on the outskirts of Old Town Rethymno could not have been better. I enthusiastically recommend this place!

Fanis was so communicative and helpful! Always answered writhing 10 minutes and had amazing recommendations! Loved it, would def come again!

Beautiful living room, breathtaking views. Very welcoming and lovely hosts. The accommodation is clean, matches the photos. I recommend this rental! The restaurant down Gefsis street is EXCELLENT. I would highly recommend it. A vehicle is required to access the accommodation. A place I'd keep!

We were very satisfied with the apartment. The landlords were very welcoming. We were even personally received at 2:00 am. The apartment was very clean and as described. The pool was really great and what was also great: The landlords take very good care of the pool. We had heavy Sahara rain the day after we arrived and there was red dust / sand everywhere. The pool was also dirty and the landlord really worked all day to get the pool clean again. So that we could also use the pool 2x before we moved to the west of Crete. The apartment has good fly screens, so no insects can enter the apartment, except through the apartment door. :D There was only one disadvantage to the apartment. It's really noisy. So noises are relatively loud in the apartment. The four of us slept in the apartment, which was a little disturbing. Earplugs were a good solution. :D

Very nice place, clear constructions from the host, some sweats & local beverage to welcome the guests, really worth it!

The apartment was very nice with a spectacular view. It was all within walking distance. And the hosts were super friendly and always available.

We can find the apartment easily. Parking is just right in front, maybe I didn’t read properly so I didn’t know that there are 2 flights down. We received the information, pictures before the checkin date, they are very precise so we were able to locate the property with no problem. The host helped us take our suitcases down, We really appreciated her help and she also gave us some lemon and veg from her garden. We enjoyed staying at her apartment. Everything we need is there. If you need help the host was just upstairs.

Stavros was fantastic, as was the history of this wonderful place. Rethymno was a beautiful town and we explored everywhere on foot. We decided on walking in the morning and then having a late lunch (each lunch was fantastic) and walking back up the hill to have a light supper on the deck at sunset. Beautiful and thank you so much for the care you put into your house to make it a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

Plenty of amenities, clean and in an excellent location close to the port.

The house is truly something special. The interior and design of the house is super tasteful and combines traditional Crete with modern elements. Everything in the house was spotless and brand-new. The view from the terrace was breathtaking and the courtyard was very cosy. We can only recommend this gem of house at Crete. The location is a little remote but perfect to relax and enjoy Crete off the beaten paths. We hope we will come back. Also the village where the house is located is so picturesque. Amazing local tavern with great authentic food are in walking distance.

My wife and I toured the Villa in the listing, and it was absolutely gorgeous, but we stayed at the single story Villa below and our review will reflect our experience there. One thing worth noting about the listed Villa is that it is two stories, both beautifully appointed. Our single story Villa, a part of the same complex, was beautiful, peaceful, and restful. The Villa was impeccably clean, the space spacious and airy, completely modern and luxurious but without pretense. I could live there year round and count myself fortunate. The location is fifteen or twenty minutes from a number of popular beaches, yet in the countryside far from the noise, clutter, and confusion of the city. The town has everything you need and nothing you don’t. If anything could be better than the villa it’s the host, Manos. Manos is the most friendly and generous host imaginable; a gentleman and beautiful person in every sense. If I have any regrets about the villa it’s that I didn’t book it for longer.

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. We had a great time in the beautiful mountain village – it was a special experience. Every morning we had breakfast on the rooftop and enjoyed the tranquility. At first we thought we would miss the sea, but that was not the case at all. We really managed to relax – walks in the area were enough. We actually planned to do more, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took it easy. Nevertheless, we were traveling by car and made some nice trips, including to the coast, where we discovered great restaurants. A vacation that will stay with us in very good memory. A gem and a beautiful retreat in southern Crete. The villa has everything your heart desires, a beautiful view, pool and a modern kitchen that makes every heart of a hobby cook beat faster. I will miss the morning and evening bath in the pool with the view. Since it has almost no light pollution, you can see a starry sky and the Milky Way with the naked eye. Secluded beaches are easily accessible by car within 30 minutes, so a car is highly recommended. Doesn't have to be an SUV. Sam is available at any time and communicates very quickly. Furthermore, he or Lefteris are always available with tips and advice. Sam and Anel are more than super hosts and I can recommend their villa villa 200%.

This very clean and ultra-modern vacation home exceeded all our expectations! Such a warm personal welcome by the owners. A well-stocked refrigerator upon arrival, as well as fruit, coffee and refreshments. Beautiful large private pool. Fantastic luxurious enjoyment in all comfort with comfortable loungers and bathrobes/slippers. It was perfect for us, definitely recommend it and will undoubtedly come back soon!

Our stay at Alexis and Nina's villa was nothing short of extraordinary. It was our third and final stop during two weeks in Crete, and it was the most luxurious and lovely spot (among a group of them) for me and my wife. The villa is set in a small village on a hillside overlooking the sea. It's about 30 minutes into Heraklion, and the village (though by no means a city) has plenty of places to eat and shop. It's also exceptionally quiet and private. The arrangement of the villa is essentially a "compound". There are three separate parts of the villa, each with separate entrances and all immaculately cared for and luxurious. As we were only two people, we used the lower villa (3 bedrooms), but multiple couples or even a large family would be very comfortable here. The villa was perfect, only eclipsed by Alexis and Nina's hospitality and generosity throughout our stay. There were too many examples to cite of their kindness and care, but it made our stay extra special. We'll be back!

Wow! We went to a bachelorette party 4 girls and it was simply amazing! George was long before the trip spoke to me on whatsapp and was available for all my questions. Booked us a taxi from the airport that arrived just on time and everything was very clear through whatsapp. Also at the entrance to the property, George received us, took luggage ( until check-in) and kept them in a secure room. The property is stunning and just right,cozy, clean, quiet neighborhood and right next to all the fun - exactly five minutes walking distance. Buy us some nibbles that were waiting for us in the room, was always available for questions and recommendations for us and even made me really good and took me a ride to the massage he had booked for me in advance in the area. Really was just perfect. I really recommend to anyone who wants to clear their minds and get reliable and professional service above and beyond.

This is such a great place to stay in AN. Eleftheria met us on arrival and made us feel like family. Their property is pristine and with great lounge, kitchen and dining overlooking the marina. In 5 mins walk you are wherever you want to get to in the local area. There is a sheltered beach within walking distance. A gorgeous town and well appointed place to stay. Absolutely recommend

Beautiful spacious apartment with great modern design and with a unique sea view from the balcony (sea only about 20 meters away). Everything you need. The landlord is extremely friendly and always available. We felt very comfortable. There are lots of good restaurants in the area, all within walking distance. The free parking by the sea was also perfect. From there, you only need 5 minutes to the apartment. The beautiful bar near the bedrooms was always well attended and accordingly it was loud there until late at night. It's a matter of taste, but the beds were too hard for us. Otherwise, absolutely recommended! We felt very comfortable and always had a cozy breakfast on the balcony.

Fabulous attentive host. Light bright spacious apartment with a lift. Generous welcome pack , great walk in shower, large extremely comfortable beds and nice fresh linen. Large Windows and sliding doors onto two terraces , one with the hot tub! Sunset and sea views from both terraces. Close to bars and restaurants with Indigos our favourite just across the road on the beach front. We hired a car from the host and went on an adventure. Definitely the way to see Crete! The mountainous centre is fantastic and you get to discover other great places. Recommend Evita beach Bali which is just 30 mins along the coast. Truly a piece of heaven. Very sad to leave!!! Thank you so much for everything!

Excellent location, very clean and large apartment Comfortable beds, good quality air conditioning that is adjustable in each rooms Provided a travel cot and high chair for our baby which was very helpful Few steps up into the apartment, but then there is a lift to get luggage up Beautiful view, unfortunately the balcony was out of action for our stay as they were replacing the railing with a glass one - this did make it a challenge to dry clothes, but hopefully wont be an issue for others. Kitchen is pretty sparsely equipped, though we didn't need to do much cooking. Would have been good to have some cupboard essentials provided that you don't want to have to buy like condiments, coffee, oil, salt and pepper etc.

I loved my stay, Georgia and her husband are the nicest of hosts and I felt like at home. The location is the best in Heraklion. 10 minutes walk to city center, less to nearby grocery stores and lots of restaurants nearby, several quite posh. I could see the sea from the roof top and the hot tub was excellent. 10/10 experience.

Small but nice accommodation! Very clean, everything necessary available. Communication was quick, easy and very friendly. :) The beach is really right outside the door (max. 1 minute walk), the matching beach bar with free loungers is also on site. 🌊🍹🌞 The only suggestion for improvement would be a vacuum cleaner or broom. After 9 days, even with great caution, sand or dirt gets into the apartment. It would have been practical to be able to remove it. Happily again! 🫶🏻
