Ed and Barbara was and is such a blessing. The community here is very therapeutic, even the dogs. This is definitely one of those places that if you could then you would come back over and over again. Barbara will make you feel right at home, so have fun if you dare; you might not want to go home. Nice pool, jacuzzi, lots of of space to feel free and to let loose and be loud. If you're into art sculptures then you have a lot to look at, because this place is filled with the enchanting art work by Ed. This experience will leave an everlasting impression on you. Dan’s place was an amazing overnight trip for my wife and I. Exactly as described and peaceful. Bring a telescope to check out the bright sky at night! We will visit again!

What makes this experience special is 1) the hosts, who make you feel like family and look after you as such, 2) the raw nature of the area adjacent to Paracas National Reserve, 3) the truly basic accommodations of sleeping on air mattresses in a small tent 20 feet from gently lapping waves of the sea, 4) the feeling of an authentic connection with people who care about the environment and generously share the experience with their guests and last but not least, 5) the magnificent taste of organically farmed scallops fresh from the ocean, eaten with a squeeze of lime juice. If you are looking for glamping, don't come here. This is camping in its basic form, except that there is a bathroom which is rustic and clean. If you are looking to connect with nature, the sand, the sea and local people, book immediately!

A tent with a very comfortable bed. Shower and restroom in walking distance. There is also a lovely bakery in Shell I recommend to check out.

Always love our stays here!! Beautiful place. It's like staying in a family's cabins and campspot. BATHTUB!!! And the pizza and kitchen are amazing. LOVE this place!

Simple camping situation in a large field behind the vineyard with 4-5 other sites, spaced out, but there is no hiding from your neighbors. Two individual bathroom stall/sheds that are probably two football fields away from the campsites. You drive through a field to get to your site. Very quiet at night with beautiful star viewing. Very scenic and clean property. Harry also provides lots of firewood. He was easy to communicate with and was very friendly.

We can’t recommend a stay at Laura’s property more highly! She has created a magical oasis at Gatherwild. The property and its surroundings are stunning, and offer plenty to do and see without ever leaving (beautiful walking trails, friendly farm animals, vegetable gardens, games and crafts)— our kids were in heaven. The location is also ideal, close to lots of great food, culture, and nature. Sleeping quarters were clean and comfy, and the communal kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked. It made for a seamless glamping experience with our kids. Laura was a wonderful host and we hope to come back soon!

This was the perfect peaceful getaway. The site was beautiful and felt like home right away. The sleeping tent was clean, sturdy, and comfortable. The bathroom setup was better than expected—hot water, clean toilet, and great shower. We spent most of our time relaxing by the fire pit, listening to birds and rustling trees, and taking in the view. Everything was just as described, if not better. Would gladly return!

Such a beautiful spot and the owners thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. They have done so much to make the space beautiful. We will definitely be staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. It's a nice private, unique, and romantic glamping experience and very close to town. As said in the description, it will get warm in the tent midday. It's good to remember that it is, essentially, a tent, so if it's hot or cold outside, it's probably going to be close to that temperature inside, so prepare accordingly!

my boyfriend and I had an amazing time the view was beautiful and it was very quiet and secluded great for a relaxing weekend. We will definitely go back again!

Great little place for an over night stay. One of a kind experience. All kinds of little details made this an awesome stay.

We only stayed for one night but it was great. You will need a 4wd to get up the rocky hill but it's short. The views were beautiful from on top and it was quiet and peaceful, and the beds were very comfortable.

We came to Dreamy Oaks for the first night of our honeymoon and it was magical! The tent is incredibly cozy and romantic, and the views are so peaceful. Hannah and Jacob were so friendly, and our sunset picnic with the sheep and cows was a perfect evening. Could not recommend this dreamy, remote, luxury tent more!

My family and I had a great time! The location had great views and the set up was outstanding for a little getaway to unwind. Finding the grounds was not difficult and the area was private. Overall we made some excellent memories and would come back again.

We hebben een heerlijke nacht gehad, prachtige natuur en zo een mooi uitzicht. De hertjes liepen voorbij en de vogels waren aan het zingen. Wij waren zelf op doorreis en hebben helaas maar 1 nacht geslapen maar we kwamen helemaal tot rust.

This was the most amazing, therapeutic, beautiful stay. I would come here every weekend if I could. The place was as described, if not better.

Our experience at John’s was so perfect, we don’t know where to start. The amazing tents with perfectly comfortable beds and bedding, the deck with fire pit, the thoughtful snacks and supplies, or the amazing outdoor shower with plenty of hot water? The location was amazing for everything you want to do in the area. With only 3 sites, it was private and quiet. Minutes from Rushmore and Custer made it a great launching spot for day trips. John was always available with information about the area or for anything else we needed. We stayed several days and could have easily stayed a week comfortably. Will definitely be going back. So much more to explore in the area.

The place was beautiful just as described! Definitely an experience. Would recommend bringing a heater or extra comforters in the fall- it was extremely cold the night we stayed. Some furniture is a little run down and could be replaced.

Our stay was amazing! It was so peaceful and private. There are a few stairs to go up but it was no problem at all as there is a platform halfway up if you do need to catch your breath! Everything was very clean and the ac worked wonderfully (we were never hot during our stay and it is the end of May). Downtown Chattanooga was around a 15 minute ish drive for us which was perfect to be able to explore the city! Efren left clear instructions for parking / finding the roost and it was extremely easy to find. The eco toilet is interesting when you first use it but super easy and no smells at all! We really loved it here!

We had a great time here, especially playing in the creek! Loved all the convenience of a campsite set-up and ready to use. Charming and host was very responsive. Appreciated the thoughtfulness and enjoyed morning coffee on the porch with the sound of the creek. Farm setting was beautiful.

I had a great time here. I was staying for Mother’s Day weekend. I needed some peace as my mom passed in July. It was exactly what I needed. The river , fire, and surroundings are so peaceful. The tent is very nice. There are other guests around so just keep in mind may not be super private, but it’s not crowded either. The bathrooms are very nice too. I’d stay here again.
