Wee Nook is a 360 square foot living space with a full kitchen and bathroom. It is tucked underground in the middle of the woods. This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, all the firewood you will need and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.

Know before you book! Unique, Nature immersion stay. Rural location near Nashville, TN. Private gated driveway separate from owner’s driveway. Forest stay in underground cedar Gully huts where you walk between structures and separate bathhouse. You won't run into anyone, this is a secluded getaway. Collect eggs, pick berries or hang out by the fire pit, hike to the creek and waterfalls, but don’t forget to pack bug spray and a sense of adventure!

The Clizzie Hogan

A traditional Navajo hogan made from local sandstone located near Lees Ferry on the Navajo Reservaton. It is one large open room with wood stove and two twin beds and two cots. We keep 12 gallons of fresh culinary/drinking water on hand and a chuck-box camp kitchen . There is no indoor plumbing or shower. We ask our guests to use our clean and well maintained outhouse a short walk away.
