Lovely place and just as it was described. Cooked steak and shrimp on the grill one night and everything worked fantastic. Very close to town-ate out at the Altana Rooftop Lounge on Friday night and it was a very nice location downtown. The bed was firm and one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in (on the road) in years. The deck and hot tub facing the creek was perfect Overall a wonderful trip we look forward to coming back Thanks for being a great host!!

The place is wonderful, one of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen, wherever you look the view is stunning. The house is well equipped, the kitchen has several amenities, coffee maker, air fryer, excellent gas stove (only a microwave is missing), the shower is a spectacle with a lot of pressure, the TVs are huge and the jbl box makes it a movie theater, the internet is also excellent since the cell phone signal does not work nearby! It is worth hiring the breakfast, which is very tasty and plentiful, delivered to the cabin. It also has very powerful air conditioning, so whether it's hot or cold, you can be very comfortable. Perhaps it would be interesting to put blackout curtains in the room because when the sun rises, the light is very strong since the ceiling and walls are made of glass. In short, the place is for those who like silence and peace in nature, the host is very helpful and kind, we liked it so much that we have already made the next reservation!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and peaceful cottage! The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. We spent our evenings relaxing around the fire and enjoyed some quality time in the hot tub, which was the perfect way to unwind. Grilling out was a highlight, and we loved enjoying our meals in such a serene setting. The host was incredibly nice and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly appreciated their hospitality. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This place in Monteverde was amazing! We want to give a shout out to Alex, especially. If you see him and he offers to take you through the cloud forest, take him up on it! Alex was so knowledgeable and smart...we learned so much from him and we continue to talk about what a great guy he was! This place was exactly as described! It was so peaceful and fairly isolated at the end of a road. I only stayed for two nights but wish I could have stayed a week. Surrounded by the sounds of nature, with a nice view of the stars and hills.. it was definitely a nice place to get away from the fast pace of the city. And they have everything you need to have a fun and enjoyable stay. The hosts were amazing and I can’t wait to go back!

The Cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway, and the scenery is beautiful!

This place was built with the river and sunset in mind! The angle of the house is perfectly set to see the river flow from one end to the other! Two sides of the house has large glass windows where you have a picturesque view from the house and loft. The house smelt and looked squeaky clean inside. The decor was well thought out and aesthetically pleasing. The house is small but very functional for it’s purpose. We felt right at home and comfortable. There were fresh eggs and butter in the refrigerator for breakfast and bread and coffee cake in the freezer which was a very nice and thoughtful touch. The kitchen and bathroom was stocked with essentials too. We were just passing through town and hoped for a relaxing place to stay. We were not disappointed! Wish we could have stayed longer! Maybe next time.

This was our second stay at our local home away from home. It’s so peaceful and quiet. The animals, the hot tub, the porch swing: quintessential country living! Beautiful interior, GORGEOUS bathroom, beautiful butcher block counters, and the perfect AC for the small space. Quick drive to Waverly for dining at Bibb’s (DELICIOUS)! We can’t wait to go back again!!

Absolutely stunning property to clear your mind. Could hear the creek running nearby and endless bird songs. Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. House was more than enough room and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This is a wonderfully modern cottage, off the main hwy. Chancelor provided ear plugs and a sound machine for the traffic noise at night, but after the first night it didn't bother us. If your bringinging fur babies be prepared to drive to go walk them as there isnt space to walk with them right at the cottage. It was fine for us as we took them hiking daily at goose island campground and another park nearby. We really enjoyed our stay to visit family in the area. I would book the cottage again, it was super cozy and we loved the outdoor fire pit even though we didn't get a chance to use it. We did use the indoor fire place, nice ambience, its just a heater but was enjoyable nonetheless. Thanks Chancelor!

Such a cool little cabin that feels like you’re tucked away in the woods. The house was clean and felt really cozy! Joe was super friendly and offered a few good recommendations close by. Would stay again next time I am in that neck of the woods.

We are always so grateful that Caroline has chosen to share these majestic places with the rest of us. This was our first visit at the Falls (we usually stay at the Bunkhouse). It was incredibly special and was just what we needed to rest after a busy school year. Peaceful, relaxing, with all the amenities we needed. Already planning our next visit. We enjoyed hanging by the creek with the fire pit. We enjoyed soaking our feet in the creek. We enjoyed laying on the couch on the back porch, watching and listening to the falls. It was just perfect, as always.

Our stay in the charming Moon over Bayou cottage was absolutely wonderful. Living right by the bayou with gators in the back yard lined with live oaks was a truly magical experience. It was more than we had hoped for. The cottage is decorated with so much charm, creativity and pure taste, we loved every part of it. What can I say? Even more beautiful than in the pictures. And the beds are incredibly comfy :) We loved sitting on the porch, watching the wild life, listening to all the frogs, cicada and more. Spotted some turtles too. Lauren’s instructions were very clear, making it incredibly easy to find the location (just keep your eyes peeled for the correct drive way)! Throughout the stay she also responded swiftly when needed.

Covered patio was a lifesaver, since it rained during our stay!

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon, and WOW, were we impressed! The team at Freckled Hen Cottage were wonderful hosts, proactive in their communication and very helpful. The space itself was cozy and warm, with a beautiful outdoor area and sunroom. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Fayetteville!

Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay. Sheri and James were very responsive and kind. The inside and outside of the home looked exactly like the pictures. The area was so peaceful and quiet, we enjoyed rocking in the chairs and embracing it. Thank you so much ❤️

The house is very nice, suitable if you want to get away from the noise of the city. It's ideal for couples or adults only. I don't know if it's so convenient to bring children because the stairs to the room are somewhat dangerous. You must bring your food so you don't have to go out, the kitchen is well equipped. We were worried about the arrival as many say it's difficult but the truth is it's not. You just have to bring a suitable car, because it's a bit steep. The views are beautiful and everything was very clean (thank you), they responded quickly to our questions, they were always attentive. The pool is small but nice. You won't regret it if you dare to go.

We had an absolute blast. Was such a good find for us. Slept everyone well and had everything we needed. The hosts were quick to call when we had an issue (user error on my end) and helped us get things rockin and rolling. The view out back was unreal and only a short drive to get to town. Will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!
