Monthly Rentals in Alvescot

Our group came from Manchester and spent just one night here. The cottage was definitely a change of scenery comparing to the busy Manchester city living style. The cottage is situated in a secluded area where there are ample walking trails for people who love nature. Julie, our host’s mom, was very accommodating and she was very friendly in explaining and introducing the cottage to us. The cottage definitely meets our expectations as a place to spend a quiet night for our group cooking our own dinner and spent a night chit-chatting.

I would highly recommend this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property was lovely and modern. There was plenty of space for two couples but we definitely could have had another couple stay, still with ample space! The property felt private despite being in a residential area. The rooms were well kitted and they left a useful care package of bread, milk, eggs and snacks etc. This was so appreciated as we arrived later in the evening so didn’t have time to get some breakfast for the next morning. Alex was especially helpful, sending us clear instructions on check in, how to use the appliances and generally ensuring we had all we need. I would stay here again.

We had a lovely few nights away at Priory Barn with our 3 dogs. It was the perfect location to visit the Wildlife Park, Oxford and Blenheim Palace. Piers was an excellent host and was very helpful with things to do locally. He suggested the local pub which had excellent food and was dog friendly too. We also met his dog Binky who my dogs enjoyed playing with. We would definitely recommend Priory Barn and would love to go back.

This place was absolutely faultless, we had a lovely stay and will definitely be returning. Thank you so much!
