Kuckó is located in the Balaton Uplands, directly on the Blue Tour, in a picturesque environment, in an area surrounded by grapes, on the upper floor of our small Family Wine House, which makes its "nature" wines from its own-grown grapes (a clearer in the fridge). There are many sights, beaches, and hiking opportunities in the area. Borbála was very flexible with check out timings. She was friendly and reached out to us with recommendations on things to do. The house was beautiful and cozy, had beds for everyone with fresh and clean linens. The open concept kitchen was great for the group of us to cook together. There was also a BBQ grill and charcoal, with an outdoor dining area. The outdoor seating was comfortable and beautiful, it had a view of the pasture with horses, and vineyards. There were also bikes provided to bike to the city and lake, with your pick from 3 different grocery stores. The 8 of us had an amazing time, and Borbála was a great host. We're already planning our next time back, we definitely recommend Borbála and the accommodation!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful, just like in the pictures. There is also a playground, restaurant and convenience store in the neighborhood, easily accessible by car. It is important to know that this is a press house, so it is worth coming by car, but the road is well passable. Éva was very kind, she responded quickly and solution-focused to all our requests (high chair, extra mattress). The neighborhood is quiet, calm, perfect for relaxation. We were with our 18-month-old daughter and we had a really great time. There are good restaurants in Köveskál, the playground is also pleasant, and the place is super overall. We recommend it.

This place was exactly what we needed as two teachers wanting to get out of the city. Peaceful, countryside home with a beautiful sauna and jacuzzi that we used multiple times a day. We loved exploring this part of Hungary (we went to Lake Hévíz) and genuinely enjoyed our stay here. We biked from the train station to the Airbnb, which was hard in the winter. A car might be necessary for others.

We spent our honeymoon in the guest apartment in the back of Tibor and Veronika's home. The room is small but cozy, and while we stayed at the accommodation, we preferred to spend time on the spacious terrace enjoying St. George Mountain. Although there is no way to heat food in the room, contrary to what was described, Veronika was very helpful and heated what we brought in their own kitchen while the lovely Bálint's son entertained us. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone who wants to relax in a nice, quiet, cozy environment for a few days.
