Vacation rentals with lake access in Allgäu

Had a very nice extended weekend with 6 adults, 4 children and 2 infants. The host Julia is very friendly and accommodating, we felt comfortable right away. The house is just great and offers very good opportunities for families. We'd love to come back!

A wonderful house with veranda and seating, located right on the lakeshore with a swing; all around trees, reeds, birds, view of the water, access to the lake. Everything is available in the kitchen and bathroom. Despite the rainy weather, I found the surroundings and the view of the lake extremely attractive, I felt very comfortable in the house and the surroundings. I'd love to come back!

Good amenities in the bathroom, bedroom and living area. A small goodie bag for our dogs, which made us very happy. Also very straightforward was the additional booking for a few nights on the sofa bed. With a toddler, two dogs and two/three adults, it was spacious enough for us. Everything was very clean and maintained. In good weather, the garden and terrace are worth it. Very nice surroundings, lots of paths for walking and nice people. Ulm is easily accessible and has lots of shopping. The communication with Roland was very straightforward, quick and concrete. Check-in and out were also very easy.

The cottage has been made the most of visually and in terms of furnishings. The beds are totally comfortable. For a longer stay, there is a lack of storage space for clothes or the like, but we simply lived out of the suitcase over the weekend. In general, there is enough space for 8 people to sleep and eat, but not necessarily to spend a lot of time in the house. The location itself is beautiful on the Ammersee and you are also very quickly on the lake promenade on foot, where life is. The fact that the cottage is on a campsite was sufficiently described, but unfortunately it was still not so clear to us that people camp directly under/on the terrace and you have less privacy than expected. All around really very sweet and cozy and recommended for larger groups who want to spend a lot of time on and around the Ammersee and are looking for a nice place to sleep.

We stayed at Max's apartment with our 15 months son . Apartment is spacious , clean and fully equipped. Views from our patio door were amazing straight on the beautiful mountains and the castle:) Our son loved the horses , donkeys and the playground:) Apartment is located just 15 min walk to Fussen old town , very close to Forgensee lake , 10 min walk to the local shops and bike rental is just behind the corner :) Host was very responsive and helpful. h

Lovely cosy clean and warm apartment- great balcony with fantastic views of the mountains - 5 mins to main centre and supermarket by foot. Recommend cycle touring around lakes and towns and visit to the Marian Bridge etc.

Great chalet, great lake views. The only drawback of the first floor apartment is the footpath and if you should be lazy on the couch and do not want to be examined by hikers, you have to close the curtains. Otherwise very well located as a hiking starting point. The view from the hot tub leaves nothing to be desired and in the sauna you can relax comfortably.

We had a great time at the apartment and Robert was very reliable and super easy to reach. The place was very clean and offers everything you need. The location is very quiet and you can reach the shops or the city in a few minutes on foot.

We felt very comfortable in Daniela's apartment. Great location, everything tip-top clean, very nice and helpful hosts. We loved it and want to come back.

We loved our stay on Walensee. Easy walking to the beach to swim, the Marina restaurant was excellent for dinner, the views of the lake are fantastic. It’s a short walk from the train station (the trains can be heard through the day but they didn’t interrupt our sleep). Alex was a kind and responsive host - a welcome bottle of wine to greet us, quick to respond to any questions etc. We would love to return when we could do more hiking - but we still enjoyed our stay despite some rain.
