We had such an amazing time at Benita’s secret house! It was absolutely full of charm and character and exceeded our expectations on every level. It is rare you find a place that is better than the pictures and that is true of this private sanctuary. Benita was delightful to meet, responsive to every inquiry, and provided amazing suggestions on activities and places to visit that made it an outstanding experience. Au revoir Secret House. You introduced us to the French countryside in the best way possible.

Exceeded expectations. Coffee machine was also excellent. The home really has a heart and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peacful retreat that feels great for the soul. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were hotel standard. You can tell alot of love and time has been put into the furnishing and decor. Landscaping surrounds were a joy to explore, enjoyed sun bathing, a little ping pong, walking amoungst the trees with the family, exploring the orchard and lavender field followed by Rose and movie nights in the extremely comfortable living room. Ellen and Aries were incredible hosts.

What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

The beautiful room with outdoor kitchen and outdoor dining room had everything you need for relaxing days. A fragrant, tasteful bedroom with good Bed and beautiful linen, a wonderful covered and well-maintained dining area with outdoor kitchen, functionally furnished. A large pool, to be used at any time and larger than in the pictures, wonderful in hot temperatures after a trip - and even illuminated at night. A central location to explore Provence and the Carmargue, on absolutely private and large grounds with the landlady Marie Agnes and her discreet family. In a quiet, friendly and pleasant way, Marie Agnes anticipated our every wish and gave good tips for the area. Beautiful bird and frog concert in the evening. Thank you, dear Marie Agnes, we will be happy to come back!😊

This was one of the best places we ever stayed at. Everything was super clean. We felt right at home, with the kitchen being set up with every equipment needed to make nice meals. It is just a short drive out of Gordes which makes it perfect to wind down. Its such a beautiful peaceful surroundings. Super easy to drive to all the other towns in the area. We had a great time outdoors in the beautiful garden, with a lovely dining set up and the pool, also pool towels were provided which was amazing. Everything was just great and we would definitely come back.

Sheer perfection. If you have anything to complain when visiting this spot, you need another life. Wonderful view, great hospitality, attention to detail, very easy communications.

Incredible, incredible, incredible , here are some things to know about Aix and the apt… … 6/21 solstice,, the city stays up until 2am. Don’t plan on sleeping before that unless u have big-time ear plugs. … it gets dark really late, it’s amazing in summertime. … if you rent a car, the Parc rotunda is an easy walk 1/2 mile walk and easy to deal with 25 euro for a full day. You will probably park for 10-12 hrs at a time for 13 euro. Worth it if you go to Avignon , Arles, Nimes, Cassis, etc … you can’t go wrong in Aix, and this apt is beautifully placed and beautiful, comfortable, has AC, a nice fan, a working kitchen, great furniture, a piano, a very comfortable bed, great private washing facilities, and a great shower. We did not use the Balcony because it was only two of us and it’s almost just an escape for smokers ….there are 78 steps to climb to get to the apt. It’s hard, be warned. And that’s without luggage. Be warned! Very secure tho.

We had a wonderful vacation in the Provence! Valerie's place is beautiful and set in one of the most beautiful and quiet villages in the region. It has great views and it made us feel really at home. The apartment has everything that we needed - it was clean, very cozy and tastefully furnished. Valerie was a great host - she gave us excellent recommendations about the local restaurants and we felt really welcomed there. We will definitely come back!

A good option for those who want to see the Verdun Valley by rental car... If you have heavy luggage, it is much more convenient than Mustier Sainte-Marie, which has a far parking lot. Colleen sincerely welcomes guests, and the accommodation is spacious, clean, and the facilities are good.

A very pleasant welcome from Dominique and quick access to paradise. If you like peace and quiet in a soothing village, a perfect accommodation that has a soul, impeccable cleanliness, neat decor, fantastic views, this is where you should come. Thank you, Dominique, for your kindness, availability and discretion. If we have to land in the Verdon again, it is at your place that we will come back to dream.

We enjoyed our stay at Stéphanie's place. It feels like a calm oasis in a very busy and cool area. The well designed studio has everything you need. The area has a lot to offer, from cool shops to local bakeries and cool restaurants. Stéphanie shared some nice local suggestions and we appreciated that she was very flexible regarding our early arrival. Your perfect base in the centre of Marseille.

The host received us very warmly ~ and introduced all the details of the house!The house is fully equipped and the air conditioning is very powerful. You can see the lake in the distance from the village, and it's only a ten-minute drive to the lake!There are small shops, restaurants, etc. in the village, and everyone is friendly ~ Staying here is a great choice if you're visiting the Lake Sainte-Croix area!

Lise has incredible taste, very similar to our own. We loved the apartment, the air conditioning was a blessing, the rooftop terrace was heavenly and the location was hard to beat. If we ever come to Aix again, we will definitely book Lise’s apartment. She was also very helpful and responsive. We can’t thank you enough as it was a brilliant start to our holiday

Apartment was great. Very nice to have an outdoor terrace. Centrally located to Centre Ville, SNCF Gare Aix and Cours Mirabeau. Only downsides are low air conditioning in living area and lots of stairs if carrying large suitcases but this information is shared in the listing so not a surprise to us. Otherwise great apartment and responsive / helpful host. Would recommend a stay here.

Thanks to Laurence for hosting us, her accommodation is very well-equipped (like home), spacious with a private garden and quiet. Beautiful birdsong and no annoying barking. we enjoyed the calm, the Sainte Victoire mountain as well as the hike of the 2 dams (Bimont and Zola). Perfect

Wonderful stay in a lovely spacious apartment with a sunny balcony and amazing views. We particularly enjoyed the tennis courts and swimming pool, which for the most part we had to ourselves and are simply stunning. We loved the village and tried most of the restaurants, all of which were very good. It's a very beautiful village and the locals are very warm and friendly. We will not hesitate to return. Nice, fresh and bright accommodation. The sofa bed was good. Protected patio. The proximity to the train station was excellent.

We lacked nothing. Amaury was always easily accessible. There is everything you need. A quiet area, no through traffic, perfect for relaxing. We can recommend the apartment in good conscience. Thank you and best regards!

Very nice centrally located apartment with great amenities. Although the apartment is right next to the ferry port, it is pleasantly quiet in the apartment. Bonus points for the very comfortable bed. Manuel was always available and welcomed us warmly :)

Two of us spent 12 days at Zima. The area is beautiful! Not far to the lavender fields, to the Verdonschlucht, to various lakes, to beautiful villages…Riez was ideal as a starting point for our bike tours (e-bikes)! We were the only guests during the period, so we could enjoy the wonderful, very well-maintained pool every evening! The apartment was always cool despite the great heat... The neighborhood to Zima's sister was especially nice. It was a pleasure to chat with her occasionally… so I could refresh my French skills a bit! The time in Riez was very relaxing, the accommodation is a little paradise, familiar and quiet. Highly recommended!

Our second time in Julien’s great apartment. Really well equipped, superb location and Julien and Let were super helpful and quick to respond. We will hopefully come back again.
