Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Alingsås

This was the second time we came here and it was just as perfect as the first time. Highly recommended if you like the peace and quiet of mother nature!

We had a great weekend in this cute little cottage – perfect for a family! Here is what you need for a comfortable stay, including internet/wifi that works well for watching TV. However, it is not really enough for several devices at the same time, but it did not matter so much – around the corner there is a nice forest path to explore and the opportunity to borrow one of Ida's bicycles. The outdoor grill was also a big plus! The location is private and peaceful, yet only 5-10 minutes by car to the store. We would be glad to come back!

We had an amazing stay at Imre & Olga’s lake house! From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by their warmth and hospitality. The location is absolutely serene, quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature with the lake just steps away. No neighbors, no noise—just pure relaxation. The house itself is beautifully designed with a cozy, thoughtful touch in every detail. You can feel the care and love they’ve put into it. Whether enjoying a quiet morning by the water or a relaxing evening inside, everything about the space invites calm and comfort. This is a true hidden gem and perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge. We left feeling refreshed and grateful, and we already hope to return! Lovely house, really good host, lovely nature and easy to e.g. Borås or Gothenburg. We lacked nothing and felt at home instantly. We had almost summer weather for a whole week of April, so the large enclosed terrace was super delicious, with the most beautiful view of the lake and forest. You have to accept the sound from the nearby highway when the wind is not in the south. Available for a nice and new jetty with nice deep water and good staircase at the end. We'll get back : )

We were a group of 10 friends from different countries and came for a long weekend together. We had a great time at Annika and Jonas’ place. Their house is beautiful and well arranged, modern but still with the vibes from its history. The house and its surroundings have many amenities (hot tub, sauna, kayaks, …) and it was great to be so close to the water and nature. It’s also easy to do groceries in the nearby town. Going by public transportation may be possible but a car would be recommended. I can only highly recommend this house for a group of friends or with a family. We loved it!!

Carina and her husband are very friendly and helpful hosts! We felt comfortable right away. The apartment is beautiful, super clean and equipped with everything you might need. The view of the lake is fantastic and the location in the middle of nature is fantastic. We spent 6 great nights at Carina's place and we'd love to come back anytime!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful Airbnb flat in Länghem and it exceeded all my expectations! The flat was impeccably clean and thoughtfully furnished, blending modern Scandinavian aesthetics with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the fully equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze. The host was welcoming and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ann Marie’s place. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and equipped with everything needed for cooking—which was especially convenient since dining out for every meal can get expensive. The garden was adorned with lovely flowers, adding to the charm. We appreciated the ample supply of towels and bedding, and the tasteful paintings throughout the house created a welcoming atmosphere. While the location is a bit outside the city, it’s easily accessible by car. We would love to return and highly recommend staying here!

Can't recommend this place enough! It really felt like you were a guest at someone's home you knew, so homey it was. Just about all the amenities you could imagine were there, and the level of service was beyond all our expectations. We will definitely stay here again!

Jesper and Jennie have a lovely home! It was even better than the pictures. We were a group of 10 friends and the house had everything we needed, everyone was super happy. We had a great time hanging out in the house soaking in the views and enjoying the sauna, and also going for small hikes around the nature preserve. Jesper and Jennie were super responsive, they answered any questions we had and also gave us recommendations for activities. We couldn’t have wished for a better place and hosts. 10/10 would come back 😄

The house is charming and nice, with everything we needed for a successful stay. The area is super nice and we really appreciated the atmosphere. The host is very friendly and quickly made us comfortable. Highly recommend!

A very warmly decorated and cozy living with many rooms and a nice patio. You feel right at home and spontaneously feel like staying there in the winter. All amenities were provided to cook well. The water is somewhat fickle and smells quite like iron, but that gets used quickly and bottled water is also provided. In any case, we had a nice time and I would book again right away.

A perfect accommodation for our large family. Good with large areas both inside and outside to socialize together, both large and small. Large lovely garden with play equipment for the children and several lovely outdoor patios for us adults. We enjoyed it very much and would love to come back another time.

We very much enjoyed our stay with Gladys'. Communication was great and we felt heartily welcome. The appartment is beautiful and spacious for four guests and you feel at home right away. Modern and exceptionally well furnished kitchen. Large and cozy sofa. Nice spa with sauna and whirlpool/tub. Beds are a little to soft. For getting around the area, we'd recommend a car. The nearby lake is beautiful and there's lots of opportunities for hiking.

What a charming place. Perfect of you want to relax. House and garden are overwhelming. The lake is just a few minutes walk away and there is a nice cafe and restaurant by the other lake, also just a short walk away. We had a great time. Birgitta was a wonderful host. Would love to come again.
