Family-friendly vacation rentals in Algoz

A really lovely villa, photos don’t really do it justice. It’s very spacious and there was plenty of room for our group, 6 adults and 3 young children. The pool and play area were very popular. Lisa and David were great hosts. They provided everything we needed and more and were very good with communication and info. Some lovely personal touches for our stay left in the villa too which were much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return again sometime.

Excellent location.👌 Possibility to leave the car and do a lot on foot. The hike along the coast to reach the pretty little fishing village of Burgau is a beautiful reward ♥️ (Beach restaurant is the best). Breathtaking view of the sea and the pretty little town from the apartment with private access by elevator😁! The restaurants are very good too with plenty of choice!! On the other hand, the accommodation would be more than 5* if a refresh was done (jacuzzi at the end of its life, pergola in need of renovation as well as the blinds, etc.). Paulo is a fantastic host, our very first Air bnb ! We would definitely recommend as it was just the perfect holiday for us! Lots of walks and beaches are beautiful, all within a few minutes walk. A great small supermarket with Coffee bar again just a few minutes walk. Brilliant , loved it!

Vladimir is an excellent host. Perfect welcome, very human and a lot of kindness. The apartment is located in a quiet oasis in portimao. There is a swimming pool access. For children, it's great. The rooms are fine and the bedding was fine. It takes the car to visit the Algarve. Vladimir's recommendations for restaurants and activities were really appreciated.

The place was lovely - open and airy with beautiful views. The walk down to Carvoeiro was a little hairy since the road is very thin with odd steps to one side that are difficult to walk on. Most people from the area seemed to walk on the road. The Carvoeiro boardwalk is on the other side of the beach (walkable) and Seven Hanging Trails is easy to get to by car. The central location made exploring the Algarve easy.

Our stay was wonderful, the townhouse is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot, yet so close to town! The hot tub was great in the evenings. It was super clean and has beautiful Portuguese charm. The space is large and private, it is nice to park your car right at the door to bring luggage in. Communication and recommendations were good. We would definitely stay again when in the beautiful Algarve! Thanks, Mia

A Perfect Family Getaway in Lagos! We recently spent a week at this beautiful villa in Lagos with our family, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious and immaculately clean the property was. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, whether inside the villa or out by the pool. The highlight for us was definitely the pool area—it offered a stunning view that made every morning coffee and evening swim feel like a luxury experience. The outdoor space was peaceful and well-maintained, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. Ursula, our host, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. The location was great too—quiet and private, yet just a short drive from the beaches and town centre. We felt completely at home and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for families

I cannot thank Carmen enough from booking to arriving! We were a group for a hen party and Carmen’s could not have helped more by sending us recommendations for restaurants and also booking taxis. The villa was great and really secure with plenty of room. The pool was great fun and there are plenty of extras that Carmen can sort! If you are looking this the place to book!! The house to disengage, in simplicity, refreshing. It is very well equipped with dishes, linens, we have the impression of arriving at friends who have left everything available. The big plus is this beautiful beach 2 steps away . It just went too fast

Had a great 2 night stay at Isabel’s! Perfect location within walking distance of all restaurants in Old Town and within 5 minutes of the beach. Would recommend to any couples staying in Albufeira.

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Rosa!

Adriana was one of the bests hosts I’ve had of my 10 years using Airbnb! She’s very responsive, worked insanely quickly to fix some minor issues and even checked in on me after the issues were resolved. I’d highly recommend this place, it’s quiet, safe, has amazing views and the proximity to the beach and shops is unreal! Can’t say enough amazing things about it, it’s the perfect location for a getaway.

We spent a lovely stay at this villa. Very well maintained, very clean and comfortable - located in a very nice pine tree private condominium with other villas near by. It can accommodate 10/12 people with plenty of space. Kitchen has been renovated this past winter, and most of the kitchen appliances are new. It has AC in all areas which is perfect for summer and winter months. The garden is very nice and the swimming pool with plenty of sun! Hosts are amazing and did everything they could to meet our needs. They also supported us with suggestions and requests prior our stay! We cannot ask for more, and we will come back definitely next year.

We had booked it for my 70th with all our family. Unfortunately my husband too ill and wasn’t allowed to fly. The rest of the family and grandchildren had the best time. The villa was as it was in the pictures, spacious and clean. The pool was spotless as the pool cleaner came to keep it maintained. It’s the first time my family had been to Portugal and they just loved it and would recommend anyone booking this villa would be very happy. They are due back today and the feedback from them has been very good. Infact we might just book this for next year. Steve and Natalie have been amazing hosts. We all would Definitely Highly Recommend this Villa and Location. 5 Star ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The apartment was spacious and everything was clean and tidy. The complex is beautiful and we were very happy to use the pool. Communication with the host was impeccable and we were flexible with arrival and check-in. Overall, we were completely satisfied and can only recommend the accommodation.

Very large villa set in a very private setting. Great for a family holiday with private pool and massive outdoor spaces. Bedrooms were large and had plenty of storage. Kitchen was very well equipped, although a number of items are now quite dated and would benefit from updating. Very quiet and peaceful setting - great if you want to get away from it all! But also 7-10 min drive to beach and local town/shops. Bella was a kind and responsive host. She replaced the toaster on the same day we told her it wasn’t working. A fantastic place. The only criticism i have is that the upstairs bedroom area (with the two single beds) smelled very musty. We stayed in another AirBnB in Lisbon and it had the same issue so I wonder if high humidity levels are a factor. There were air fresheners placed around but if you have a sensitive nose then this would be a problem for you.

I’d love to write a review but due to an error with my passport, we weren’t able to fulfil our holiday. What I do want to do though I’d thank Helena for her understanding and communication. She was genuine and sincere and I know if we had of made our holiday, it and Helena would have exceeded all our expectations. We look forward to booking again once we sort out passport issues. Thank you Helena for all our communication.

Nicely furnished, modern flat in Albufeira marina. Clean and lots of natural light. Comfortable balcony with a view of the shared pool and the marina. Lots of restaurants right downstairs. Convenient parking spot in building. Anabela, the Host greeted us and was responsive and helpful during our stay. The bathroom could use a makeover…the only outlet in the bathroom did not work, the bathtub drain was rusty and the shower curtain needs to changed. The kitchen is quaint and fully functional. The drip coffeemaker needs to be replaced or at least replace the filter. Thankfully, they also had a Nespresso coffee maker. Washer was a plus. If your stay is longer than a week, you will get fresh linens an towels. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent and thoughtful accommodations! All details have been carefully considered for an enjoyable stay, including sand toys for kids to have fun at the beach. Would recommend this as an excellent place to stay!
