Apartment vacation rentals in Algoz

Likely the best location in Algarve if you are looking for a quiet stay. Apartment is nice, clean, well located, nice balcony, Kitchen is well equipped. We were expecting something upscale and trendy but it was a bit dated, however it is still very nice and very much above average. We could easily have spent 2-3 weeks here ! Armacao de Pera is often an overlooked beach city for a stay. It is quiet VERY quiet (except dog barking), everything closes around 10PM. But you still can get ice cream and a cold beer at Gelatos upto mid-night. Then if you need wild animation Arbufeira and Portimao are within 15 min ride. (Uber cost only 12-15 euro to get backhome). Then the best part is the beach : right in front of the apartment. It is the best soft sand beach in the area and its temperature is above the coast's average. We LOVED this place.

Claire was fantastic in her communication for the villa. It’s quite remote from anything but was perfect as a base location for me and my bridal party for our wedding in Alte. The pool area is beautiful, they are having work done on the grounds which will make it an even better place.

Wow, what a beautiful place! The apartment it self was clean, well presented and felt super homely and cosy. Everything you’d need and more. The complex that the apartment is on is clean, quiet (but not too quiet!) and pleasant to be around the pool. The little cafe/bar by the pool was a nice touch. Great to grab a bite to eat during the day if you don’t want to cook for yourself.. and nice (very strong 😉) cocktails. Situated in reasonable walking distance from old town and marina, but equally as accessible by taxi for those who don’t want to walk the hills, at a great price too. A wonderful base for our week in Portugal to attend our friend’s wedding. Susana was very polite, accommodating and friendly, which made check in a breeze. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful property! ☺️

We had a wonderful few days at Monica’s Blue holiday home. This was our third Airbnb in Portugal and was by far the nicest and cleanest stay on our trip. Monica was there to great us on our arrival and she answered all our questions about the apartment and the surrounding area. She is a lovely person and we enjoyed meeting her. It is very obvious that she is a super host!! We appreciated the sunny patio and we loved the morning beach walks and all the many bars and restaurants in the area. Would have loved to stay longer and would highly recommend Monica’s place!!

We are a family of 4 and spent 5 days here over May half term. It's a great place for a family holiday. The apartment was well equipped and set out well. There are lots of things to do nearby (recommend Zoomarine), lovely views and great swimming pools onsite, and good restaurants on site or nearby ("A Cocheira" down the road was our favourite). We would definitely recommend

The villa was nicely kept and furnished and they provided a baby crib and high chair no problem for us. Miguel was a pleasure to deal with on check in and check out. View of the beach and ocean is lovely in an evening

This place is absolutely stunning and I recommend staying here. The building and amenities are top notch, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The host was very responsive and friendly. It’s not too far from Albufeira, and it is a great location to relax after visiting Old Town! There are some great restaurants in the area, and some cute cafes with delicious coffee. I hope to come back!

The apartment is beautifully decorated (as in the photos) and efficiently designed to have more storage than appears. It was very clean. It is small but very well designed for 2 couples. We mistakenly thought it was 3 full baths but it’s 2.5 baths as the guest bathroom has no shower. Isabela is quick and easy to communicate with and flexible in accommodating our needs like getting us an extra set of sheets and blanket for the couch. The view is absolutely amazing! Albufeira is more of a party town but the apartment is located in a quieter area away from the crowds and noise. It is within walking distance to many restaurants and the beach. Albufeira is touristy but worth a visit and we would definitely recommend staying at this apartment. Thanks Isabela for a wonderful stay!

Amazing place to stay in Burgau! Worth every second!

We very much enjoyed our stay here near the beach in Galé for almost two weeks and would gladly return. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped (the kitchen had many extra appliances, even a blender), and regularly cleaned. The humidity of being near the beach is managed by modern ACs in all rooms. Although there are not windows with outside views because the apartment is on a corner by the roundabout, plenty of light comes in through the two living room windows and very large window doors to the patio in both rooms. We greatly enjoyed the private patio and grilling. Some normal street noise is audible in the living room and mostly just during the day; we were not bothered by it and did not hear anything while sleeping. Praia da Galé Oeste is just across the street and a short walk on the boardwalk, which you can take for a scenic walk all the way to Armaçao de Pêra. Nuno was a very responsive and proactive host, with many recommendations for the area. Thank you!!

The apartment was exactly as pictured—modern, clean, and comfortable with beautiful views. The location was walkable, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. We appreciated the responsiveness of the host and the thoughtful welcome gift—it was a lovely touch! The recommendations provided were appreciated. That said, there were a couple of things that could be improved. Directions to the apartment were a bit tricky to follow, and the 6 PM check-in time felt quite late compared to my experiences over 8 years of staying in Airbnbs around the world. We were surprised to find that some necessities weren’t provided. For a 3-night stay with 4 guests, only 4 coffee pods and a few mismatched tea bags were available, which seemed more like leftovers than intentional provisions. There were also no paper towels or basic cooking staples (beyond salt and pepper). Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but a few small improvements could make the experience even better.

We had a really great time in Carvoeiro. The apartment is perfectly located, was clean, child fair and very well equipped. This was by far one of the best apartments we have been to so far.

We really enjoyed our stay at Helena’s apartment. The check in process was very easy and the apartment is well stocked, especially the kitchen. We loved the view from the balcony and the pool was great to escape from the heat in the afternoons.

Excellent location.👌 Possibility to leave the car and do a lot on foot. The hike along the coast to reach the pretty little fishing village of Burgau is a beautiful reward ♥️ (Beach restaurant is the best). Breathtaking view of the sea and the pretty little town from the apartment with private access by elevator😁! The restaurants are very good too with plenty of choice!! On the other hand, the accommodation would be more than 5* if a refresh was done (jacuzzi at the end of its life, pergola in need of renovation as well as the blinds, etc.). Really a great place with very good amenities and good location in the Algarve. Jan-Taken was accessible at all times and also supported us superbly. We felt very comfortable. The complex in which the apartment is located is also very well maintained and at the beginning of May there was also not so much going on, so it was really quiet and not full. The apartment offers its own table tennis rackets and private access to the gym, which we also loved.

My family and a friend stayed here and absolutely loved it! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed. The pool was right outside the back doors, and the view was beautiful. We really appreciated the extra touches, like beach umbrellas and a boogie board, which we definitely made use of. The beds were very comfortable, which was such a relief after staying at several other places with hard mattresses. All in all, a fantastic stay—we’d definitely come back!

Excellent location with privileged views of the coast and close to many places. Host was very polite and friendly. We really enjoyed the place, the views and the beach. Pool and facilities look nice and well taken care of. We had the bad luck of having damaged air conditioners although the host was very responsive and proactive; gave us some fans and price reduction to compensate. Will book again (after I am sure the AC works). Having a private parking is also great.

The place was just as advertised, newly renovated and beautiful!!! Everything worked as described, the location was right at the Marina and boardwalk, which made it very convenient for water sports and other excursions.

The apartment was beautiful and very homely. Stanislava was there to meet me and show me around, there was a complimentary bottle of wine, water and basket of snacks waiting. Could not fault anything at all. Even beach towels were provided. The apartment is very well located for all the amenities, bars restaurants and supermarkets on your doorstep. Bus station is a five minute walk so you can jump on a bus and go to any resort. Train station 15 min walk. Had a really chilled and relaxing holiday.

The place was lovely - open and airy with beautiful views. The walk down to Carvoeiro was a little hairy since the road is very thin with odd steps to one side that are difficult to walk on. Most people from the area seemed to walk on the road. The Carvoeiro boardwalk is on the other side of the beach (walkable) and Seven Hanging Trails is easy to get to by car. The central location made exploring the Algarve easy.
