Finger Lakes wine region is 40 minutes away, Letchworth State Park (the “Grand Canyon of the East”) is less than an hour, Watkins Glen is 2 hours.

Carney’s Country Escape

This single level home is located just outside of Hornell, NY in a quiet, secluded country setting. Letchworth 45 mins, Watkins Glen 1 hour and Niagara Falls 2 hours. We purchased the property in 2018 and made necessary upgrades while retaining the original character of this classic home. The view of the backwoods from the living room is spectacular! We live at the adjacent property located a few hundred feet away, so we are available as needed.

Had a wonderful stay at Ruby’s! I was in town for an alumni fundraiser and the apartment was a minute away from where I was going to be! The apartment was clean and had spare blankets and pillows. Would definitely love to be able to stay here again :)

My stay at David’s place was perfect. I was in Hornell to attend a relative’s funeral. It was wonderful to have a clean, comfortable place to relax between events. The location is very convenient. I could walk to the funeral home and to restaurants. The place is well appointed , with everything you might need. I appreciated the hosts’ thoughtfulness. In Hornell, hotels are expensive. David’s place is a great value. My experience was much better than it would have been at a hotel.

Perfect Retreat Relax, Recharge, Experience Nature

This private apartment is perfect for a trip to Alfred or Alfred Station NY. Kelly and Jay are right next door which was so helpful when we weren't exactly sure when we would arrive. I really appreciated meeting them and getting a tour of the apartment from them. They made it very easy for us to park and come and go as we needed to. The apartment is charming with beautiful cabinetry in the beautifully appointed kitchen. The wooden floors are shining, the furniture is new and comfortable and the bathroom has thoughtful touches. We appreciated the gorgeous view and hearing birds in the mornings. Plenty of outlets for us oldsters to charge hearing aids, phones etc. We did a small laundry and the brand new small washer and dryer were perfect. We could have stayed longer easily and happily!

Beautiful Rural Farm Setting with Bedroom and More

we were greeted warmly in person upon checkin...a first. I love knowing whose home we are staying in. mrs roger walked us thru the space and in the kitchette were fresh muffins! the furniture was super comfy and in fact are trying to find their same mattress to purchase for our own home! it's a shame our sons college stay will end soon and will only have limited opportunities to return!
