Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Alfama, Lisbon

Had a great time at Pedro's! The space was clean, well-equipped, and as described. Pedro was a very welcoming host, available and responsive to all my questions. The location is perfect, close to transport and many shops. I highly recommend this place and will not hesitate to come back on a future visit!

My family and I had a great time in the apartment, which was nice, comfortable and had everything you could wish for. The patio was amazing to have, especially with our soon-to-be 2-year-old daughter. We set the table for breakfast, sunbathed and read while she took her nap and spent an evening there. Next time, we'll bring a small pool for her so she can swim when it's hottest. Because now we played with the water hose, which was also a hit. The apartment was up on a hill and I would say it took us about 15-20 minutes to walk to e.g. the Times Market, or 15 minutes to the nice park Jardim de Estrela. The area was quiet with a few restaurants and small grocery stores nearby. We are thrilled with our stay at José's and will be happy to come back!

Great place for a short stay

This place was perfect. Joao was such a gracious and hospitable host. We only stayed one night, but would recommend his apartment for a longer stay in Lisbon. Great location and all the amenities you need. Thank you, Joao!

Beautiful apartment located near everything. You can just walk out if the apartment and enjoy a non planned walk and stumble into the best of Lisbon. The apartment is wonderfully decorated.

We found Ricardo's place after being abandoned by our previous host 20 mins after touching down in Lisbon. And it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as Ricardo is the most empathetic and genuine hosts out there. We explained our situation to him and he ensured that he will get his apartment ready in time(despite having errands to run.) He even came till the bus stop to pick us up and helped us carry our bags to the apartment. Despite having very little time to set up the apartment we were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a handmade fridge magnet and a post card. Quite possibly our best check in experience ever. The apartment itself is beautiful and cosy and massive props for the outdoor garden that gave us lots of sunlight to soak in. From a location POV the apartment is close to the Roma Arerrio station which is great for day trips to Sintra and other towns as well as for local travel. All in all we loved our stay at Ricardo and Patricia's place.

Lara’s place is super cute, clean and it is in a great location. It is not in the tourist area, but is on the 28E tram line (and 25E) so it is easy to get around and the neighborhood is charming, quiet and super safe with a nice small market and coffee shops on the corner with a couple of very nice restaurants a short walk away. It was very comfortable. We did have a hiccup about communication over keys; we understood there were two sets. We are finding in Portugal it is a lockbox with one set of keys and in some places, it is hard to leave one person home and another out, especially if one is out late at night (the other has to stay up or be locked in [the way the door lock works] which isn’t safe). The other issue we are finding in Portugal is that while kitchens are well equipped, you won’t find salt, pepper or olive oil and it is tough to bring those from California (and it’s problematic to buy…though we did…if traveling and flying). I would stay there again.

Nice house , very quiet, very close to beach.

The house blew us away! The cozy vibe, along with the view of the beautiful garden, pool, and barbecue area, made for an amazing stay. It was super clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, comfy beds, and even toiletries. The location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw from the beaches of São João da Caparica. Our host was super helpful and got back to us right away. We loved our stay and will definitely be back for longer!

Yun was an excellent host, very responsive and provided all of the required info. The pool and outdoor area was amazing and there was so much space - the air bnb is larger even than it looks in pictures. We would absolutely come again!

Great apartment located near many restaurants and bars. Tram 28 passes by right outside the doorstep which is cool but can also be a downside if you are a light sleeper and sleep early. It was fine for us for the most part. I would stay here again and recommend this apartment for future visits to the city.

We had a lovely stay in Alges Village, Alexandra and her husband were extremely welcoming and helpful. A wonderful quiet safe place that makes you feel at home. Everything was clean and beautiful. Close proximity to city of lisbon and activities restaurants and sights. 100% recommend to anybody looking to stay in a sweet location and casa. Will be back!

Beautiful property. So much space and very comfortable. Enjoyed our time here. A few steps to the bus stop, a parking spot for our car and a grocery store right downstairs. Super convenient. Really enjoyed our time visiting the Lisbon area and our accommodations added to this. Thanks!

Very comfortable and spacious place, well decorated, definitely get a “homey” feel and perfect for a group of 4 with lots of luggage! The view to Lisbon from the terrace was gorgeous. Nice pool as well. Located in one of the preferred neighborhoods of Lisbon accessible to everything needed. Since we rented a car, I loved the private, secured parking garage connected to the place! A must if driving considering parking limitations in Lisbon!

Paolo made our stay very enjoyable. He is the best host. Super responsive and went above and beyond to get us into the apt early. Great location-extremely close to everything. Very walkable and convenient. Great space for a larger group with 4 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms and a very large comfortable living room. And if you are a tv person-biggest tv I’ve ever seen. Thank you Paolo for your graciousness, friendliness and all your recommendations. Also extra shoutout to Luan who checked us in at the property-super nice person and graciously came extremely early well ahead of check in time to accommodate our group. I can’t wait to come back.

Carlos' place was very spacious and had everything my family needed. The location was very convenient for us as you can enter the building from the main street rather than having to walk further into the Alfama streets. The place is also beside some really excellent restaurants!

Everything was wonderful, the location, the accommodation and the host. Ling was very kind at all times, giving very useful recommendations. When we return to Lisbon, we will definitely repeat.
