Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Aldeburgh

Dunwich is a beautiful seaside village with an interesting history. Beach was good (by North Sea standards but be sure to either have feet like old boots or preferably a pair of swimming shoes. The house is perfect for a family get as ours was with grandparents, maiden aunts, youngish couple and a toddler. Everything you could need and more.

I recently had a wonderful five-day stay at Rebecca's kiln cottage, which truly felt like a hidden gem. The cottage was not only beautiful but also clean, comfortable, and set in peaceful surroundings. Being dog-friendly with plenty of lovely walks nearby made it even better. Rebecca, our host, was incredibly welcoming and provided us with useful information about local amenities. She was friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would love to return. Thank you, Rebecca!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tide House. It was spacious and extremely comfortable. After a hard days work with Time team at Sutton Hoo, the bath was a godsend. We were both very pleased with our stay. Easy to get to the town and all the amenities available. Lovely walks along the Deben river. Didn't hear any traffic noise at night, had a good night's sleep. All in all great stay. Thank you Ps parking fine.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage! It was set up really well for us with a great twin room for our daughters, lots of games in the lounge and the kitchen area onto the big garden was great for the dog. The cottage is positioned really well, close to Snape and Aldeburgh, the farm shop is a 4 min drive and had everything we needed. We did lots of lovely walks including to the local village pub. We were really lucky with the weather and the garden having fields on 2 sides gave us beautiful views morning and night. The chocolates were also a highlight!

We had the most incredible time with the family of 6 adults and our 2 grandsons celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday. It’s without doubt the most quirky and fascinating place we have stayed. We have stayed in Suffolk numerous times over the years and have always been fascinated with House in the Clouds so it was a wonderful surprise to find we could hire it. It felt very welcoming and relaxed from the moment we arrived. The boys had the best time exploring and it all felt very safe. Natasha was very helpful from the beginning and was very quick to respond to any questions. Thorpeness is quieter than its neighbours along that coast but the local pub is great and there is plenty to explore without it being too busy. Would highly recommend and definitely keen to return another time!

Second time we’ve stayed here and we again absolutely loved it! Super cozy and doggy friendly and in a great location so not far from a lovely bakery shop or nice pubs thank you so much again for having us!

Lovely old cottage; very well appointed and very comfortable. I can't fault it. it's in an ideal location for Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh, Framlingham, Woodbridge and the Suffolk coast. The owner is really nice too. Highly recommended.

Just back from a lovely stay celebrating my husband’s 50th Birthday with family. The house was perfect for us all to come together, with plenty of room, large social spaces, south facing garden and lots of en-suites, with only two beds sharing a bathroom. Location was great, just a few steps down to the beach and the high street. Would highly recommend.

Wow what a lovely place to stay! It’s immaculate and has so much included what with the Hamper on arrival, kids toys and books and games, DVDS, spotlessly clean and the quality of the linen impressive! I would go as far as saying it’s the cleanest place we have stayed and in terms of location it’s perfect! All in walking distance! Comfy beds and sofas! I can not fault this place one bit! If you book you will not be disappointed! It’s on a lovely site with pool £4 per child and £5 per adult well worth it so clean and tidy! Lovely bar on site too all dog friendly! Get booking you will not be disappointed!

We had such a lovely time. Location was peaceful and the accommodation was perfectly placed for planned activities and so close to the beach. Inside was clean and lovely and warm and Hannah was fantastic at answering any questions very quickly and also making sure we were settled in. Thank you.

Polly place was magical. It is really well set up, with amenities that you would need. The grounds are beautiful and the house cosy. We fell in love with their little dog Lettice. We hope to come back one day.

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s place near Oulton Broad for 3 nights with the kids and the dog. Lovely little attention to detail with dog treats and dog bowls left out, also some treats for the humans. Thanks!

Lorna and Dean's cottage was a so comfortable for our group and a wonderful place to make our Easter memories. Everything is so well appointed and there are detailed notes about absolutely everything. The house is so lovingly lived in and has real cozy character. The garden and pool are stunning and a sun trap for the whole afternoon. The house is located within an easy distance to so many places, we enjoyed a visit to Sandringham while there. We would love to come back and stay in the future and would recommend to family and friends.

We have had a lovely week at David’s cottage. It has everything you could need and more. We loved the kitchen and the garden. The locations great we have really enjoyed the week thanks for having us ⭐️

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

Lovely little chalet with plenty of things to do locally and on-site. Excellent value for money as well. All in all, deffo going on the favourites list.

The Office just outside Framlingham is the perfect place from which you can visit so many beautiful places in Suffolk - .ideal for inland and the beach. We actually preferred not being on the coast as it was more peaceful but only a short drive away from Southwold, Walberswick, Minsmere etc. We did some fabulous walks over the weekend. Framlingham is a lovely little town with everything you need - great pubs and restaurants and a wells stocked big Co-op too. And the Castle is amazing!

Queennies was a super cute cottage, it is very cosy and we enjoyed a very relaxing winter weekend with a lovely woodburner and the hamper was delicious. We hope to visit again.

Beautiful home in an even prettier location! The house the filled with everything we needed and more. The village was very quiet which was perfect. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely, modern bungalow, clean and well equipped with private off street parking. Everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the restaurants near the sea front which was perfect for us to walk off the excellent food on offer in Aldeburgh. Would definitely return

We loved our stay at June's place and especially enjoyed the peace and quiet of the pretty and private garden. The cottage is very well equipped, spacious and clean and the fact that it is a 10 minutes stroll to the excellent Crown pub is an added bonus. June and Nic are great hosts and we appreciated their helpful suggestions for new things to explore in the area.

This was a delightful, clean and comfortable place to stay for my birdwatching and walking holiday. I enjoyed the peace of being tucked away down a quiet lane, and the view out across the fields. Angela was very friendly and willing to help. I enjoyed meeting her and her little dogs.

We had fantastic stay at the Hayloft. Perfect for a long weekend away for long walks with great pubs / restaurants nearby. The Hayloft was a real home from home and so nice to come back to after a long day exploring. Cannot recommend enough!

Lovely cottage, with everything you need and more, so much attention to detail with lots of little special touches. Great location, country walks literally outside the front door. 10 min walk to Halesworth high street, full of lots of independent shops/ eateries. Very friendly people. Easy access to public transport to go to beaches/ towns around the area if you don't fancy driving. Also comfy to just chill out and relax from every day hustle and bustle. You do need to take care on the stairs as they are very small and tight. Thank you Helen for letting us stay at your wonderful cottage.
