The historic Freihof from 1782 is an outstanding example of the rural building culture of the 18th century. The farmhouse, which is under national protection, was extensively renovated in 2022 in accordance with historical preservation standards. Great importance was attached to the preservation of the historical building fabric, while at the same time a contemporary use was made possible. Rural and yet not far from any civilization lies our small living and garden dream. The old stone house is located in Ersigen near Burgdorf BE, a twenty-minute drive from Bern. In the village there is a café, three restaurants and a farm store. The bus to the nearest major shopping facility leaves every 30 minutes during the day. We occupy the second floor of the house and rent two rooms with kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. We are happy to answer any questions you may have!
