The cabin was spotless and well-stocked with everything I needed—from fresh linens and kitchen essentials to thoughtful touches like extra blankets. The location was serene and tucked away just enough to feel private, yet still convenient to nearby trails and local attractions. I especially appreciated how quiet it was at night—perfect for stargazing or curling up with a book. If you’re looking for a restful, comfortable retreat in nature, I highly recommend this cabin. I’ll definitely be back!

This felt like lake life meets luxury glamping. We were so impressed when we walked in the door, from the decor to the details. It was a beautiful space to relax and disconnect from the busy of everyday life. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back!

Deannà was such a great host! She gave us a small gift for us being there on the night of our wedding and allowed us to keep our car under her car port during a bad storm while we were there. She even offered to let us seek shelter in their basement if needed. She was super responsive and everything was beautiful. Wonderful location and view and wonderful little house! Would definitely recommend and we hope to be back someday!

The cabin was beautiful and clean, the location was very quiet and relaxing. The scenery from the back porch was wonderful too. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to unwind and relax.

We made a quick one night stop on our way to Florida. The cabin was perfect for our family. Wish we could have stayed longer. The kids loved the pond watching the fish feed when the feeder went off. We had no issues finding the cabin and the driveway was no issue for our suburban. Thanks again for hosting us overnight.

My husband and I stayed for a quick getaway trip and had a great time! The cabin is exactly as described and had beautiful views! The property was easy to find and was clean and had the needed amenities, it was close to downtown Guntersville, and Donny was proactive and gave great check in/out directions. Can't wait to stay again for a longer time!

Who knew northwest Alabama was hiding a gem like this? This cabin was exactly what we were hoping for—a perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. Time seemed to slow down the moment we arrived. Peaceful doesn’t even begin to cover it. We spent hours fishing off the dock just a short stroll from the cabin, and the beds? Slept like a dream. Our kids had a blast, our pup felt right at home, and we left feeling rested and grateful. Gabby was an incredible host—kind, quick to respond, and made everything easy. Already planning our return trip!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin looked just like the photos. It was nice, clean, and very welcoming. The sunsets off the back porch were stunning. We will definitely stay here again.

What magical land! The sunrise cabin was small but perfect for what we needed. It was nice to not have to bring all the camping gear. It wasn't super clear that we had to haul everything in quite so far and on hills, but we managed. And the privies were a bit far away for that morning calling, but again, manageable. The surrounding land was gorgeous, natural, peaceful. Mostly bug free which was great for running around naked. Loved the ridge trail and swimming hole on the property. We enjoyed the cat Fireball joining us at our private campfire one night. Our hosts were delightful and accommodating - we loved the hot tub and sauna! And outdoor shower. We pretty much had the place to ourselves on weekdays mid May and are already making plans to come back! The bell tents looked super cute also, and loved the idea of the platforms for tent camping, too. Pack light - parking is uphill from all the sites, the host does detail how far each spot is from parking. Thanks y'all!

I would definitely recommend this cabin. I needed a peaceful few days away from the noise of work and this was the right pick. Beautiful views, very private and extra detail in cleanliness and very roomy. Close proximity to Fort Payne, Desoto State Park, LRC and a short drive to Pigeon Mountain in Georgia. We had a lovely time with our children and grandchildren. Great set up for several families, plenty of room and great outdoor area including a pond, fire pit and ping pong. They also had a grill and a Blackstone for outdoor cooking as well. This place is highly recommended for this area of the country !

Listen, this place is AMAZING!!! We had a small sleepover/party to celebrate our two graduates and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. The gameroom is HUGE and has nice dimmable chandeliers to set the perfect mood for a formal event. The bunk room was definitely a main attraction for the young folks! The bed rooms were extremely comfortable! We enjoyed the pool and were able to relax on the patio while the teens flashed about. THE COWS WERE A HIT!! There was not one member of out entourage that did not find some pleasure in talking to, watching, or mooing at them! Finally, the venue has the kitchen of my dreams!! Gas stove with 6 eyes and a griddle. Dual ovens. We will be looking to book this and possibly the nearby space for future recurring family events!!! Google Maps will take you to the gravel road and leave you hanging. Stay on the gravel road until you see a large white building. Follow the gravel road to the RIGHT until you see the red dumpster. Top notch host!!

This was a great location, and a beautiful home! We loved the outdoor space and the kids had the best time playing on the lily pad and kayaks! We would love to return to this home for another vacation. The communication was great between the owners and our group!

My stay here was everything we wanted and needed! Everything was as described in the listing and it was very peaceful here. The noise from the traffic on the main road did not affect us at all & did not disturb my family’s peace. We was still able to relax as needed. This home was very spacious inside & very clean & had everything we needed plus the bedrooms was neat & very comfortable! We plan on using this location again soon! We had a wonderful time at the log cabin. Peaceful, relaxing and exactly what we were looking for this holiday. The property is gorgeous. The cabin has incredible character while being still comfortable and having the amenities we needed. We found hiking trails just 10 minutes away at Double Oak. Best of all, it was quality time spent enjoying our boys and our pup.

very nice place. hard to get upstairs. wish more bedrooms on first floor. had extra blow up mattresses, but no covers for them and had extra pillows. but no covers. Overall, it was a,great place. Also, hard to tell what light switches turned on lights. Especially the patio. Again, great place! Had wonderful time! p.s. easy for kids to go up and down stairs, but have of the group are not older.
