Arthouse is owned by a family of artists and is ideal for those seeking a truly unique experience in a personal, artistic, natural environment. The architect designed beach house offers an expansive, light, open plan living space opening onto a large north facing deck. Two bedrooms with queen size beds overlook the secluded garden and adjoin a modern bathroom complete with bath. Facilities include: gourmet kitchen with complimentry pantry stocked with great supply of cooking goodies. Internet, TV, DVD, ipod dock, eclectic library of books films , music & magazines. Bedroom & bathroom linen, bathroom supplies. Original artwork and bespoke & collectable furniture. Art studio with materials to play with. Arthouse Bay of Fires is a place to rest, walk, swim, dream, write, draw, listen, sleep, love and rejuvinate. It is a 2 hour drive from Launceston airport and a 3 hr drive from Hobart airport. The Bay of Fires Bush Retreat is set amongst a beautiful bush setting, close to the stunning Bay of Fires beaches, and only 2.5km from the Binalong Bay township, and 8km from St Helens. The Bush Retreat has a fully equipped kitchen ready for guests to use at their leisure, or for those who would prefer to take a more relaxed option, we have our Platter Bar and pre-prepared meals made by our in-house chefs, as well as our Bush Retreat Breakfast $25pp that can be pre-booked prior to arrival.

We host our families beach shack in North Binalong Bay, quite and surrounded by the Bay of Fires/larapuna. Less than a 5 minute walk to Baileys Beach, close to the mountain bike trails of Bay of Fires (10min) and St Helens (20min). Dog friendly, workspace with hi-speed WiFi , well equipped kitchen, self contained, relaxed atmosphere. Owned and operated by hosts Lee & Chris.

Beer Barrel Beach, the Maurouard surf & Peron Dunes await at St Helens Point 8 minutes drive away as are the Mountain Bike tracks. Time to recharge and relax on the Bay of Fires coast.

Wallabies, parrots, farm animals

A wonderful barn conversion that has everything you need for an enjoyable experience. Located 6KM from St Helens. A private rear paved deck looking out at the bush. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics to cook home style meals. Beds - queen, 3 king singles and 1 single. You can see a variety of farm animals as well as wild parrots and wallabies that feed near the barn. The barn is located to the rear of OUR HOUSE. WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY AND AIDES IN THE BATHROOM.

The Shack on the Hill - Binalong Bay, Bay of Fires

A peaceful place to relax after exploring the beautiful Bay of Fires area, swimming, surfing, walking or mountain biking on nearby tracks. The Shack on the Hill has beautiful views across forest reserves. Keep an eye out for the amazing birdlife including parrots, cockatoos, robins, blue wrens and Sea Eagles cruising past. The cottage has a large open plan kitchen/dining and living area and a large covered deck for outdoor dining and perfect for coffee in the morning sun.

Humbugs Bay of Fires is a serene and beautifully appointed beachfront escape overlooking one of Tasmania’s most iconic beaches and seaside hamlets, Binalong Bay. Our beach home is a calming escape, perfectly suited for 2- 4 guests. It’s named after the Nature Reserve, “Humbug Point” that borders Binalong Bay.
