Hotel vacation rentals in Agia Marina

We had a wonderful vacation, also thanks to the accommodation! Has already been well described by the predecessors. Communication with Basilis in advance and on site with Amalia: charming, friendly, great. The garden is BEAUTIFUL, location TOP, fantastic sunsets from the panoramic balcony - unfortunately, a - partly audible - construction site is rising directly in front, which will affect the fantastic panorama in the future depending on the height. Very unfortunate. For the more sensitive, the lack of soundproofing could be a bit annoying. Amenities completely sufficient for us, even espresso maker available (vital for us;-) Bathroom is small, simple, but sufficient, has seen better days. The daily cleaning is perfect! We definitely give "4 stars plus" and would be happy to come back. Thank you, dear Amalia!

Lena was a great host from the point of booking till check out, easy to reach and giving clear instructions for check in and out. I loved the flexible check in at any time, room was a tad cramped with traditional looking decor but I didn’t mind it. Ensuite bathroom and location in the heart of old town were great. Some restaurants were open 24 hours. One window was always kept slightly open in the room and when lights are on, it attracted a bug on two of the nights I stayed. One bug really kept me awake by zooming crazily around for hours till I caught it! Close the windows if you would like to avoid that maybe.

We had a wonderful stay - apartment is fantastic - incredibly spacious with a beautiful view of the harbour from the main bedroom and balcony. We decided to pay more than we’d normally pay per night but it was worth it and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. Thank you, Di and Terry

Cute beachfront hotel, directly on the beach. Extremely kind and helpful staff. A clean room with a kitchenette and a very comfortable perimeter balcony. Quiet structure and attentive to Covid prevention measures. Free parking available on site and good breakfast, varied (sweet/savory) and plentiful. Highly recommended!

I think this is my favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed. The location was amazing and beautiful, and the room was perfect. Roula was so helpful and kind. I highly recommend this incredible space for your stay in Chania.

The room and location are perfect, Gogo is extremely friendly and helpful, and the balcony is in a perfectly-located position for enjoying the hustle and bustle of the busiest part of Chania. I stayed here twice and if I can I will stay here again!

Dimitris was so so helpful. so close to the airport, so the location is great for that but not if you’re looking for some food/things to do. room was gorgeous and greek & the breakfast was beautiful too. thank you thank you!

This was our first time in Crete, we were delighted with the welcome and the place. The hotel is close to everything, we made the majority on foot, the train station is 15 min walk, the first beach too and the city center is 5 min walk. The accommodation is super pretty, with the essentials, and the cleaning is done every day. A special mention to Katerina, who was great throughout the stay. She offered us activities and the best places to visit, was available day and night if we had a problem. A person with his heart on his hand, a big thank you to her!

Absolutely adored the place. The host was very friendly and made us feel like home. The location was perfect for us, walkable distance to the beach and during the night we could enjoy the peace and quiet at the balcony. We will definitely come back :)

We had a lovely stay with Nikos and Katerina .. they are lovely hosts .. the rooms are impeccably clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay .. beds are very comfortable, nice hot water with good pressure, tiny kitchen .. but enough for making breakfast ... but there are so many places around to eat (food in Crete is fantastic) ... situated directly on the beach ... with all amenities close by ... post office, shops, restaurants , bars etc. There is a lovely family feel to the place ... we would definitely go back if we are in Crete again

Everything was amazing! Of everywhere we went in Greece my husband and I most enjoyed Chania. The food is amazing and the location of Ioannis’ place is perfect! A stunning apartment with the perfect private pool. Thanks for an amazing stay, we will definitely return!

Anyone who has gone on family holidays with their parents in the 90s and the next, and remembers them with nostalgia, stay here... It brought back memories of my childhood vacations. Very beautiful and simple space, with the hammocks in each apartment, the sun in the morning as it hit the grass, the smell of the morning watering, the seagulls that can be heard from afar and the whole setup made me think about it for every summer season, even a 3-day stay with my family... The apartment has the basics, and anything one thinks they will need extra, I think the host who is excellent in terms of communication, will provide it! Thanks so much!

The location is great with it being in the heart of Platanias and the bus stop only 2 minutes away. There are local shops and supermarkets within a short walk and also amazing restaurants too! The hotel itself has a great restaurant serving big portions for a great price. Also loved the breakfast buffet, always serving a variety of food. The fact that we could go from the pool to the beach within seconds was fantastic and convenient. Not only that but all the staff were welcoming and provided amazing service! Would for sure return if I went back to Crete.

I absolutely loved my stay. Proimos Maisonnettes is a real gem. It has a lot of character and charm but what makes this place really special are the people: Constantinos, Vaso and Costas. They made me feel as if I was staying with friends or family and since I was there on my own, I really appreciated it. Make sure you eat at Costa’s because it’s like home made food you won’t get anywhere else in Platanias. Even something as simple as Greek Salad is amazing! The best one I have ever had and I had many! I loved my maisonnette. It was cosy, charming, clean and had everything I needed. Shops and restaurants are walking distance. I highly recommend Kyano and Match More, both close by. I cannot recommend this place more.

Perfect accommodation in an extremely central location in the old town of Chania. Everything is within 10 minutes walking distance. Great spacious private balcony with views over the city. Super clean and comfortable, felt luxurious. Loved our stay, wish we had longer.

We had a perfect stay at Elma’s Dream! Andreas and his family made us feel very much at home from the moment we arrived to when we left. All of our requests were quickly and kindly fulfilled, the room was great, bed was comfortable, and there’s nothing better than being able to grab an ice cold beer anytime by the pool! The location is amazing, it’s right next to the beach and a beautiful walk along the coast into the town which we did everyday and never tired of. We didn’t plan much, but Chania always had something to offer from great food to cool bars, a stunning old town, boat trips, paddle boarding, and just great atmosphere wherever you wander. I would definitely stay at Elma’s Dream again if/when I return to Chania, thank you so much Andreas and family!

I had a fantastic stay at Nassos’ place! The views of both sunrise and sunset were absolutely stunning, and the fresh air made it all the more refreshing. The swimming pool was a real highlight—Nassos cleaned it daily, and it became the perfect, peaceful spot to do yoga in the fresh air and relax throughout the day. I visited during blooming season, and the colours from the flowers on the premises and all around the property were just beautiful. Plus, having three restaurants within walking distance was super convenient. A truly peaceful and memorable retreat.
