Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Agia Marina

Thank you to Matthew and the team for such a lovely stay. Matthew went above and beyond for the duration of our visit, even giving us a lift to the local winery. The villa was exactly as pictured and beautifully maintained. The host welcomed us with pastries and local delicacies, which were even topped up during our stay when the villa was serviced. Whilst in a peaceful and quaint location, a car is necessary to explore the island and all it has to offer. Public transport does exist but is infrequent and not always easy to understand. Definitely worth a trip to the traditional bakery located a few minutes walk from the villa. Although we had a fantastic time in the hot tub and pool, the hot tub could definitely have been hotter. Overall all I would recommend this to everyone, and we will certainly be returning to Doro Gold Villa! Thanks again! Emma and friends

My boyfriend and I stayed 5 days in the accommodation and were very pleased with our stay. The apartment is on the first floor of a beautiful modern house. The apartment was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. The beautiful terrace with a hot tub is worth mentioning. The location is great. It is about 15 minutes drive to the center of Chania. Several beaches are within walking distance. The house itself is in a quiet location. It offers a good base for exploring Crete. Katerina and her husband are great hosts. Upon arrival, a fresh Greek salad, oranges and wine awaited us. We got fresh vegetables from the garden a few days later. Katerina was always available and very friendly. We felt very comfortable. Overall, we would recommend the accommodation! 5/5 stars!

Very pleasant stay at Irene's. House in a very good location amid olive trees and close to many places. Irene is a very welcoming, kind, caring person... we were treated to small specialties when we arrived and when we returned in the evening... i highly recommend. Thank you Irene

Simply stunning apartment, glorious views and easy access to the little village of Kalyves. We spent most days by the pool and evenings eating at the many restaurants by the beach. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, the views from the living room are stunning. Eleni is an attentive and very responsive host who looked after us extremely well. We will be back very soon!

A place to feel good – we weren't here for the second time for no reason! The accommodation is clean, well equipped and ideally located – you are on the beach in a few minutes, but still quietly and relaxed. It was already our second stay, and this time we felt completely comfortable. A very special thank you to Vagelio: She is incredibly warm and helpful. When I suddenly got sick, she immediately supported us – with as much care as if we were family. This is not a given. 🥰 We highly recommend the accommodation and will definitely be back!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. The location is peaceful and secluded but also easy to get to nearby restaurants and beaches. We wished we could spend the whole summer here!

Loved our stay in this remote villa. Amazing views with sunsets from the pool. Beds were very comfortable with quality linens and towels. Nice having the pool heated! House is remote so bring all the food needed. Rather close to Elifonisi beach which was well worth the 20 minute drive. Driving is not for the faint of heart of heart. Many tavernas in the area within 15 minutes drive. Would stay again. Thank you Theoni!

Absolutely the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had! Dimitrios was an exceptional host—thoughtful, generous, and incredibly attentive. The villa itself was beautiful, spacious, and perfectly located close to everything we needed in Chania. The pool area was perfect for relaxing while enjoying the views. But what truly made this stay special was Dimitrios’ care. He welcomed us with a fridge full of groceries, which made settling in so easy, and he was always available with helpful suggestions for restaurants and local sights. Thanks to him, this was our best family trip yet. We highly recommend!

A peaceful and charming stay Alexandros’ home is beautifully decorated and full of charm. The kitchen is super well-equipped — we especially loved the juicers and having fresh orange juice every morning! The house is in a quiet area, far from city traffic — we woke up to the sound of roosters. Renting a car is a good idea, as it makes getting to Chania easier, though beaches are nearby. Also, don’t miss Galtas — amazing local food at better prices than in the city. A wonderful place — we’d love to come back!

Words and photos cannot describe the beauty of this place. We had an absolutely magical visit. The home is comfortable and very clean and everything you need in the kitchen. Stella was the perfect host. She was so kind and thought of everything you might need. Make sure to follow her recommendations for restaurants as they were amazing. 10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

You’ll have a nice stay here. Lilit’s mum checked us in and the place was spotless. Downstairs has a kitchen/living area, a bathroom with a bath/shower, and three bedrooms. Each bedroom has air-con and two bedrooms have balconies. The kitchen/living area has air-con and the bathroom has a clothes washing machine. Upstairs has a kitchen/living area and a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen/living area has air-con. The upstairs tv is a dumb tv and the downstairs tv is a smart tv. Toilet roll can’t be flushed in either bathroom, as is standard in Crete. Both kitchens have a sink, hob, oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher, pots, pans, crockery. The host left us water, fruit and wine. The parking area has gates, which are controlled by a fob. You have to drive up a hill to get to the property. Bins are at the bottom of the hill. Taverna Irene is walking distance and has nice food and wine and cats! I’d recommend hiring an automatic car because Crete is hilly.
