Vacation rentals with beach access in Agia Marina

Lovely two-room apartment close to a great sandy beach and services. A short trip to the center of Chania by car or bus. The location is calm and private, although there are hotels and other things nearby. The apartment had everything you needed for your stay. You can easily park the car by the street. Giorgos and his family were helpful and friendly hosts. We highly recommend their apartment 😊

Nantia and Kostas were lovely, thoughtful hosts who welcomed us with delicious home cooked treat. The apartment is conveniently located and fully stocked with everything that you need. There are also beautiful views from the property. A wonderful stay.

The apartment was very spacious, with a sunny and large terrace. I was pleasantly surprised by the greeting and refreshments for a good day. These were delicacies prepared by the hostess. The apartment was clean, equipped with all the amenities we expect in a hotel, and even more. We occupied this apartment in 3 people, but up to 6 people can sleep there. I recommend it to everyone.

Very nice home and location very nice, walkable to harbor and old town which was very nice! Lots of restaurants! The house was very clean and comfortable and really pretty view of the sea from living room area. The layout was very nice as bathroom on floor of living are and second floor with bedrooms with full bath very nice, lots of room!! My only complaint was, in my opinion, the portrait over master bed was very provocative and also, in my opinion, offensive being a female. Don’t understand why there must be naked pictures of female. This really offended me and can’t understand why??? Laura Rehm

Highly recommend!! We came to Kalyves for some rest and relaxation and our stay at Avra apartments exceeded this expectation. The apartment was very clean, stocked with all the essentials plus some, and the terrace was the perfect place to start every day - we even arrived to some welcome gifts. Stelios was incredibly accommodating and responsive, quickly providing us with additional amenities, such as beach towels. Chania and its surrounding areas were amazing, but this accommodation really made it feel like home away from home. The whole trip was perfect thanks to Stelios’ help! Avra apartments exceeded our expectations in every way! Hope to come back soon!

The place was great. Location was perfect for us: close to some true gems food wise, beaches, wineries, etc. We loved it. We stayed 1 week, so we truly got a chance to enjoy it. Was also able to yoga in the morning with a view on the olive trees. All the little attentions made us feel welcomed.

This was the best AirBnb I've ever stayed at, and it really made our trip to Crete. Maria was an A+ host. She was extremely responsive and helpful and pointed us to all of the best beaches and restaurants. The house is in immaculate condition, very clean, and very spacious, and is only 10 minutes from downtown Chania. Thank you for everything, Maria!

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The location is quiet and has a great view of the sea – perfect for unwinding. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The landlords were friendly and helpful and made the stay pleasant. All in all a nice house for a relaxing holiday on the beach.

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We arrived quite late and were pleasantly surprised to find a cold bottle of wine waiting for us and all the amenities for us to have a late supper. The location was very charming close to the historic district of Chania and the story behind Hestia House added to our stay. Great location for walking and the nearby beaches were a stone throw away. The bedroom and bathroom were very bright and comfortable. If we return to Crete, Hestia House will certainly be our number one choice.

This place was a good choice for a long-term stay. Basic recreation is right nearby - just a few hundred meters away, there are hiking trails with beautiful views, surrounded by olive and orange groves. It’s also a great base for exploring western Crete in general. The house has everything you need if you enjoy cooking at home, but there are also some really nice restaurants nearby that serve tasty, home-style food. The host is super friendly and respectful of your privacy, which made the stay even more comfortable.

We had an excellent stay at this Villa. Exactly as described and how it looks in the photos. Villa finished to a really high standard and lovely swimming pool. The villa is also nicely equipped & sone really nice touches from the host, Katerina, with locally grown vegetables & olive oil. Katerina went above and beyond as a host with regular cleaning & towels changes etc and was very supportive when our daughter was involved in an accident (not at the villa!) Would definitely recommend and go back 👍

Our host was very careful for details, kitchen had all necessary stuff, fridge, etc. everything was clean. Host gift us welcoming gifts and that was lovely ❤️. Nice location, beach is close and you can go to supermarket in 10min on bus. And 25 min to Chania, bus stop is near. Living there was a pleasure.

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

Dimitri place is in an excellent location, what really stood up is the support by Manos, who knows the island very well, gave a warm welcome and amazing recommendation about the area and what to do.

The place was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed. It's very close to the beach and there are many shops nearby. The host Alkis was very polite and always answers within minutes if we needed anything. He went out of his way to help us when we needed a hand. Not to mention that he offered us a drive to the bus station.

This is really good (because it is difficult to find a parking space on the road nearby) This building is new and has a nice elevator The room is also very clean and cozy. It is fully equipped. There is also complimentary mineral water in the refrigerator. The bathroom has a full-length mirror. The bedroom has a makeup mirror. The hot water is very warm. The bedroom lights are also very bright. I like it here ~ You can hear a little bit of traffic from the bedroom, but it's acceptable. It's just that I'm a light sleeper, so I noticed this. Overall, I highly recommend this place

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

Amazing stay in Chania at Nikos and Maria’s home. The apartment looks just like the photos with everything you could need. 23 minute walk to the city centre was perfect for us as a young couple and there’s always parking available. Massive balcony as well which is a nice addition. Overall lovely place and even nicer host who was always on hand to help out with local recommendations and info. Would stay here again.

From the start, Sia and her husband were very warm and welcoming. At check-in, they walked us through the apartment, which looked exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic from the front balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved that there were electronic blinds for most windows. We rented a car and there was a parking spot available for us in Sia's garage. We did find the bed a bit too hard for our tastes (to each their own!), and we sometimes had trouble with the wifi dropping in the main bedroom. Overall, we loved Sia's place and would stay there again!
