A very cute tiny home for our two-night getaway. Just a heads up (literally) that the lofts are not tall enough for standing. We’re in our 40s and are able bodied but if climbing and crawling is outside your comfort zone, you might want to find another house. But it was a perfect size for us, very clean and comfortable for sleeping, eating and watching movies. It’s definitely a great jumping-off point for a weekend in Nelson county.

This has been one of my favorite places to stay, you are truly in the trees! My husband and I like to split our driving trips up for a rest night and this was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful Airbnb and atmosphere. All the amenities you need. Minimal and easy instruction for checking in/out. HIGHLY recommend!

The house is in a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains with peaceful views from the front porch that include a field of lavender and a stream. A forested trail network can be accessed at the far end of the lavender field--so bring your hiking shoes. The house is stunning with clean lines, "european" design and decor that includes high-end appliances and fixtures. Francesca is the ultimate host-very friendly and helpful. She provided all the information and details on the house that you would need for an easy check-in, stay, and check-out. From my initial conversations with her when I booked the house to helpful messages just before and during our stay, I felt like I was staying at the house of an old friend. We look forward to staying at Orso Blu on a future trip!

My husband and I had a lovely time at the Mountain View Meadow Cottage! The Cottage itself was perfect for what we needed. It was cozy, quaint and comfortable. The front porch was lovely to sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the views of the mountain and skyline! Its location was great for the west side of the wine, beer and distillery trails. For the location, my husband and I were able to go see some historical sites in and around Charlottesville within a 30-60 minute drive. We would definitely recommend the Mountain View Meadow Cottage for your stay if you come to visit VA!

We could not have asked for a better stay at the Vū. The home was as beautiful as the photos and the scenic background made it hard to leave. The house is near several vineyards and popular local spots but is set back from the road and neighbors, so felt very private. It’s clear that Emily put careful thought into every detail of the space, from the furniture to the amenities and fully-stocked kitchen. The screened porch was an exceptional feature. I stayed with my family and the space was more than enough to accommodate all of us. I absolutely recommend the Vū for your next mountain getaway!
