Park Farm Byre

PhilipRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Park Farm Byre was great value in a peaceful place, yet near enough to all of Dorset’s beautiful countryside and attractions. Our family and dog really enjoyed the natural beauty of the area and some easy walks from the Byre up into the woods. We also loved the easy access to the coast and the less commercial attractions such as Ringstead and the lovely walk over to Osmington Mills. The kids special place was the river at Moreton where they spent hours splashing around in the shallow stream. Laura and her family are great hosts and handle all your needs with a cheerful friendliness. All in all a great stay. Thanks Laura for looking after us so well! Phil

Pony View Lodge was a superb find and well worth the money. The property is immaculately furnished to a very high standard. Minstrel the horse was a delight. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again in the future. Great host. Highly recommend!

Wonderful short stay , wish it could have been longer . It’s great for dogs with footpaths and beautiful countryside but even better for humans ! Wonderful views and beautiful grounds, the property has everything you need and more - as mentioned by others, Selina is very generous with her provisions . Nice black out blinds for a comfortable sleep . Would love to come back next year ! Really really lovely thanks so much ! X

The Hut On The Hill

BeckyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I took my 7 year old and we had a really fantastic stay. Such a beautiful location and really good to have a sense of being out in the wild but with hot water and a super comfy bed 😂 It was amazing to have so much space and for my son to be able to run off safely. The hut was even better equipped than we expected and was very clean. I'm already looking at my diary to see when we can go back.

Pilgrims Cottage-Luxury Grade 1 Listed cottage

KarenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautifully restored home in the most extraordinary location - opposite the Church, and with the remains of the ancient Abbey just down the road. Everything in the house is the finest quality - even the hairdryers are GHD! You’ll be very comfortable. Pollyanna was a perfect host. Three characterful pubs in this small, quaint town, and just a 15 minute drive to Dorchester (go to the Curiosity Centre!). Would very happily stay again.

The Snug @ Snowdrop House

YolandaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Fiona’s place was well equipped and spacious . The outdoor deck and table setting was perfect for relaxing and having a wine after exploring the area . Communication with Fiona was easy and prompt . Thank you 😊 One thing to note is that the double bed is actually 2 single bed mattresses pushed together . This proved to be a bit uncomfortable and not ideal , and creates a dip along the middle length of the bed . Overall the property was great and we enjoyed our stay .

Beautiful Barn Conversion

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Located just off the centre of the village, this is a quiet location, and ideal for the wedding venue that we were attending. The village has a pub that does good pub food (including breakfast) and is an ideal centre for touring the Isle of Purbeck and surrounding Dorset countryside. Blandford Forum is about six miles away with a large Tesco and a range of other shops. The property is located opposite the host's home. It has been stylishly converted with a very rustic feel. It is very spacious and comfortable. Perhaps not quite luxury, but an enormous bed and a great shower, lots of storage space and well equipped.
