Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Afantou

It was a really nice experience from the beginning, communication was very good, Panos replied within minutes! The house is a real gem, perfect location! Privacy with a beautiful balcony looking at the see and you are also 1 minute from a really good small shop, where you can buy anything you might need and is also open on Sundays and non-working days. There are also restaurants within walking distance. Two minutes from the house you can also rent boats. From the balcony you can go down to the sea or walk directly to the village beach which was not crowded at all at the beginning of June. The house is spotless! Everything is very clean, the bathrooms are also really nice and clean, the kitchen is well equipped and also very clean. All appliances were working, no broken fridge or micro! Panos gave us a bottle of orange marmalade which was really nice and was also very delicious! Beds were also good and comfortable. Very much recommended, exactly as advertised with a very good host!

We had the most amazing week staying in this beautiful, well equipped villa. The most memorable part is definitely the gorgeous pool area with a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and bbq area. The interior of the villa is clean, modern and beautiful, and it really lives up to its name of a luxury Villa!

We used the apartment for an overnight stay in between flights. The apartment is walkable from the airport, which was a big plus. The apartment was sparkling clean, well equipped, spacious and felt homy, and the hosts are responsive and friendly. Walking back to the airport in the morning, we stopped by the tiny local baker and bought pastries, which we later had with coffee at the airport ;-) Note that there is a steep stairway leading from the main room to the bedroom - make sure you are comfortable going up and down in the middle of the night, if you need to go to the restrooms.

Perfect stay. Quiet area. Fully equipped house. Shutters on the windows everywhere. We stayed for a week and the towels were replaced halfway. There are regular bath towels and also towels for poolside or to take to the beach. Good and proactive communication. Small supermarket and bakery nearby that are practically always open.

Konstantinos‘ house is amazing! Super modernly furnished and equipped, it has a car parking space right outside the door and is located just in the center of Psinthos. There are very good restaurants there and we liked the atmosphere in the village very much. Psinthos is a good hub for excursions in Rhodes. Communication with Konstantinos was always direct and good. We will be happy to come back next time.

I confirm what others have written in positive reviews. Traditional house, comfortable, in the center of the town. Still, it was quiet at night. Very good internet, suitable for remote work. The host is very communicative and kind. Everything is in good order.

Our stay at Casa Piccola was perfect! The small cottage is super nice and great for 2 people, the equipment was as described, nice towels, beach towels and even 2 hammocks. The loungers on the terrace were also very cozy, you absolutely have your peace and are still on the beach in 5 minutes and have a variety of tavernas to choose from! Our special recommendation "Taverne Maria"!!!! Konstantinos and his mother Anja are great hosts, Anja was waiting for us and showed us everything. We loved everything and will definitely go on vacation again next year at Casa Piccola!!

If you want peace and quiet away from the main tourist areas this is ideal. There are truly beautiful views at front and back with its own private garden. You can sit outside on both sides of the house to eat or just relax. Stamatia was really helpful and friendly and gave us some good advice about local supermarkets and places to eat. Unless you are super fit and like walking in the heat, it it advisable to get a hire car as it’s 2.4 kms to the main road for buses and a car really allows you to explore the island much better. We really enjoyed the stay.

Not sure my review will do justice to how fantastic ‘My Green Eden’ and our hosts were. Maria was responsive and helpful from the get-go, making it easy to book for 14 of us. When we arrived we were welcomed by Maria’s father Michael who showed us round the property providing lots of helpful info! The property itself is stunning with amazing views, privacy and amenities. The outside area is particularly beautiful. The rooms are all furnished immaculately and we didn’t want for anything more! Our hosts really made it special, we came on Easter weekend which meant many shops were shut. Maria’s family so kindly went to the supermarket for us as we were arriving late, offered to drive us round if no taxis and even let us stay until our night time flight. They went above and beyond for us in every way. We would’ve been so happy with the villa but they made the weekend for us extra special - we cannot thank them enough! Couldn’t recommend this place more, would 100% stay again - thank you!

We have just had a very peaceful and relaxing week at Una Villa, it’s a beautiful villa in a lovely and quiet spot. It’s very close to Rhodes Old Town which is stunning (10min drive). The house has four large bedrooms and a massive living room which we all fell in love with. The pool area is spotless, lots of choice for where to sit and relax and it’s not over looked so has a really lovely private feel to it. We took full advantage of the outdoor kitchen area having several bbqs. It’s exactly how it looks in the photos. The villa is not within walking distance to any shops or restaurants so definitely need a car, there are several bakeries and supermarkets a few min drive away. We loved how quiet it was. Angelos was so helpful, always replying very quickly to any questions and we met his dad aswell who gave us some home grown fruit. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing break. Wi-Fi was fine aswell - saw some reviews that said a few issues but we had no problems.

Just finished a 3 night stay as a group of 5 friends (~35), we loved the house and the location! The pool was incredible! Also, Yiannis the housekeeper was such a great host, proactive communication, very helpful showing us around and a true gentleman and pleasure to meet! Highly recommend this house

Super nice hosts! We felt very comfortable. The supermarket 2 minutes around the corner is especially practical. The beach with nice restaurants is also immediately accessible. Thanks for everything!

Pernille is a most welcoming host - friendly, very helpful, responsive and knowledgable about the local area, but also unobtrusive, although she lives next door. The studio was well equipped and spotlessly clean as was the pool and outside area. Initially Wifi wasnt great, but Pernille got it sorted and from then there were no issues! Unfortunately the washer wasnt working and the engineer advised a new one. It was no hardship to handwash clothing that needed freshening up and Pernille made her own machine available. The location was perfect for us, close to the beach and 15 min (quite) level walk to the centre of the village with its bars, resturants, amenities and bus stop. Buses to Rhodes town Monday - Friday were frequent - Saturday and Sunday less so. Kremasti is on the fight path, but we soon got used to that. This was our first time visiting Rhodes, indeed Greece. Kremasti, for us was perfect as was Pernille's studio, we really enjoyed our holiday - we WILL be back! :)

Amazing place to stay! The host is so welcoming and provides a huge list of suggestions on places to go and where to eat! The villa is even better than the pictures and is spotless! Definitely rent a car, it’s about 10mins in the car to the old town so it’s in a perfect location. Highly Recommend 5 ⭐️

This is a top quality villa. We stayed for 10 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Efrosini was extremely helpful with lots of fabulous local authentic restaurant suggestions. My youngest son needed some antibiotics whillst we were there and she helped us with the pharmacist. We enjoyed several nights eating in, using the BBQ and well equipped kitchen. We would highly recommend hiring a car if you want to get out and about to beaches and the old town of Rhodes although you could rely on taxis. Thank you for such a great holiday - we loved Rhodes.

The well renovated, traditional stone house has a very pleasant, homely feel to it. We particularly liked the pebble mosaic floors and the stately height of the rooms with very tasteful furnishings from a mix of old and modern. Comfortable seating and a shaded outdoor seating area with oasis character made it difficult to leave the property for excursions. Three good restaurants, a supermarket, the beach and the bus stop to Rhodes are within walking distance. Worth seeing: the orthodox church in the center of Ialysos. We met friendly and affectionate people everywhere. On a positive note, we also have the relaxed and prudent driving style of the drivers (we were traveling with a wheelchair).

This home was beautiful and unique with great decor. Great location in the heart of old town. The house is spread over three floors with two bedrooms on the second floor and the third bedroom up top. The host was very kind to provide coffee and tea in the house as well as bottled water in the fridge.

Our stay at Rania's house was fantastic and exactly what we needed as a family. The contact with Rania was warm and straightforward, she responded quickly to questions. The house is beautiful, very clean and well equipped – incl. Washing machine and dishwasher. The quiet location outside of Apolakkia was ideal for switching off, with the rental car you can quickly get to Lindos, Prasonisi or surrounding villages. A special highlight was the private access to the almost deserted beach. The terrace offers comfortable sun loungers, seating, beach chairs and towels. Our children (4 and 6) had a lot of fun climbing over rocks and discovering the large, natural property with plants and animals – including a daily visit from a small gecko. An all-round successful vacation – we are thrilled and recommend the house without reservation!

This place is everything all the reviews say. A magical, historical building in an idyllic setting on the beach. It has some quirks but to focus on them is to miss the point entirely. A glance at the gigantic, generic hotels close by highlights the special nature of this place which provides a truly unique experience. Chris and Anna are great hosts and you feel imbedded in the town rather than just another tourist. The windmill will live long in our memory.

Very clean place with good amenities. The kitchen was equipped with all the basics and was perfectly sufficient to make a few snacks and small meals. 6-minute walk to the beach, with a rental car we were very flexible and could explore the area. Teta and her husband were very kind and took good care of us. Teta even offered to cook for me when I was feeling a little sick. After a few days, there were fresh towels and two pieces of cake. We were very happy with this place and can recommend it to anyone who wants to live close to the beach and also likes to eat out. There are also plenty of restaurants:)

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Rhodes, and our accommodation was a large reason why. The apartment was centrally located within the city walls, just a short walk from numerous attractions, cafes, and restaurants. Yet, situated near the quiet southern wall, we were nicely isolated from the noise and bustle of the medieval town. The space was comfortable and spacious, with ample room for my wife and young son. The air conditioning provided welcome relief from the summer heat. Mihali was a fantastic host—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. He provided us breakfast items and refreshments upon arrival, and the courtyard offered us a wonderful spot to enjoy them each morning. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rhodes!

What an amazing stay in Rhodes! The apartment exceeded all of our expectations and would absolutely stay there again next time we are in town. It is about a 15 minute walk to the nearest shops and restaurants and about 30 minutes into Old Town/Elli Beach so for some groups it might be better suited if you have a car. For us, walking was great and Faith was an extremely helpful and responsive host. The sunsets from the balcony were 10/10! Can’t recommend this place enough!
