A real little GEM is this accommodation in the farmhouse on the historic island of Adelsö in Lake Mälaren, with the tranquility and proximity to nature. The bedroom has a wonderful view of meadows and pastures. Hall with kitchenette and toilet/shower. The buildings are surrounded by lush forest glades with a rich birdlife. A short 700-meter walk to the jetty and sauna. On the island, you will find the UNESCO World Heritage site Hovgården, rune stones and history since the Viking Age. At Gamla Prästgården on Adelsö, a Hilma af Klint Center will be opened in 2025.

Barn converted into a home

Create new memories in this unique and family-friendly accommodation. There is a beach with a swimming jetty at the sports ground, which you can reach by car in 7 minutes. There are several hiking trails on the island and the possibility to take a boat over to the island of Birka. Cafe Hovgården serves good lunches and good coffee. See more on their website. Then we have Runstensparken with its flea market within walking distance of the house. Adelsö shop, which is a grocery store, is open on weekdays from 10 am - 7 pm and on weekends from 10 am - 3 pm.

My guest house consists of a bedroom and a wood-burning sauna. Lovely balcony and outdoor shower. In the 15 sqm cottage there is a toilet, sink, fridge, microwave, porcelain, coffee press and kettle for easier cooking. On the deck, there is a gas grill. Wonderful waterfront views. Sun all day and magical sunsets. Suitable for two people, and if you appreciate sauna and swimming, this will be perfect. Located on the island of Tranholmen, where you can go by ferry 80 from Ropsten, 1/11-15/4 via footbridge from Stocksund.

Magasinet in Tuna, has finally come back to life! Newly renovated and furnished to offer cozy accommodation in the countryside. Come for a long weekend with friends, cook around the kitchen island or book a private dinner in the "Gårdshuset." It is a beautiful environment where you can take a walk, a bike ride or swim in Lake Mälaren. Magasinet is separate from the host's home, with its own driveway. Newly built in 2022. The accommodation of about 50 sqm on two floors has everything you need. It is located right next to (50 meters) Lake Mälaren and 200 meters to the nature reserve Väsby Hage. The place is unique in its quiet location and is only 45 km from Stockholm city. There are several popular areas to visit nearby, such as Birka, Björn Järnsida's grave and Hovgården on Adelsö. Drottningholm Castle is also close.
