The Elephant House is the most amazing place. Close to Addo's main gate and nice restaurants in the vicinity. The establishment itself is a beautiful place, the staff are excellent. The breakfast every morning is something to look forward to. The cottages are tidy and clean. Highly recomended and will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time here! So peaceful and such a beautiful view. We played croquet and watched the natal and impala grazing, lay on the hammock and enjoyed the stars! The state of the dirt road meant a bit of a longer trip into Addo (we have a kombi and not a 4x4), but would stay here again!

Staying in this charming farmhouse felt like a journey back in time. The farmhouse is surrounded by unspoiled nature. However, it's worth noting that there are limited dining options in the vicinity, and the nearest shop is quite a distance away, so make sure you have everything you'll need with you. There was an option provided by the hosts for a hearty breakfast and dinner, with the unique twist of grilling your own meat over an open fire. Jenifer also booked a very nice game drive for us. Just ask her about the options. We did encounter a bit of bad luck with heavy rain during our visit, which made our journey to the farmhouse a small adventure, especially considering our mode of transportation was a bus. In winter, a 4x4 vehicle is probably a wise choice for the journey. Despite the challenges, our stay in this farmhouse was an unforgettable experience, and I'd highly recommend it to those seeking a rustic retreat into the past.

Beautiful tent right by the river with a great outdoor braai area. The bed is a dream and the atmosphere just great. Thank you for the unforgettable stay.
