Lake Champlain Private Waterfront Guest Apartment

NiurkaRating, 5 stars17 months ago
This lakeside gem was the setting for one of the most restful and beautiful stays we’ve ever had with Airbnb. I loved sitting every morning on their porch to take in the first bit of morning light, and every suggestion made by our host was better than the last. I’ve visited Vermont several times, but I was blown away by all of the hidden treasure suggested by our host - everything from thrift shops to the best cafes. My two kids had a blast here as well. I would highly recommend for couples, families, or friend groups looking to have fun together.

Historic Riverside Village Gem

This is an extraordinarily wonderful place to stay, spacious, clean, well equipped, with a kind and responsive host. Situated above Lewis Creek with the sound of rushing water below. Location is perfectly placed midway between Burlington and Middlebury amid the agricultural beauty of Addison County in the Champlain Valley. Plenty of room for two couples or a family. Great shower and bathroom and well equipped kitchen made this a perfect stay for a week. Eager to return next year!

Mary's House in Moretown Village

EricRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Spent a long weekend at Mary’s place skiing at Sugarbush (the rental is also close to several other resorts). It was perfect with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a small but functional kitchen and living space with a tons of books and games to pass the time. The second level deck that overlooks the cute town of Moretown was a nice bonus. The place exuded a simple, bucolic quintessential New England character and is eclectically charming. Would love to return to experience other seasons. To top it all off, Mary was a pleasure, accessible and helpful as needed.

*Downtown Middlebury Waterfall Studio Apartment*

HeidiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had an extended stay at the studio. I loved the beauty and sound of the water falls. The location is in the middle of town close to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery, shopping, and hiking. The studio was spotless. The kitchen is equipped for most anything you want to cook. The space is large. The bed is comfortable even though it is a Murphy bed. There is adequate closet space. Bathroom was well equipped and stocked. Note that there are businesses that also use the entrance to the building. You will need to lock the door to the street at night. We kept the key in the lock box so it was available if we were locked out by another tenant. The studio is very private and quiet at night as no one is in the building. The WiFi can be spotty and this is in the description. The owners were very responsive with my concern regarding connection issues. I highly recommend staying here. It has been my favorite of all stays in Middlebury and I have stayed at many.

Million dollar views and privacy on Lake Champlain

AbbieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Kelly’s place was an absolute dream! The space is fully renovated and even still smells “new.” The views are incredible and the space feels so cozy with lots of privacy. The house has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Kelly was incredibly helpful and responsive to my many questions before check-in. We brought our 20’ boat and there was just enough room to maneuver. We didn’t end up even taking the boat out though because we enjoyed being at the house that much! We had so much fun fishing from shore, the catfish and bullhead kept us very busy, with a few surprise species mixed in as well. We barely heard the trains when they passed by and weren’t bothered by them at all. Mornings out by the water, sipping coffee, reading a book, while my boyfriend caught fish, then enjoying breakfast on the deck— it can’t be beat! This was a perfect little getaway to unplug from the rest of the world and to recharge with some peace and quiet accompanied by beautiful views! Can’t wait to return!

Morgan is the kindest host ever! I have stayed here multiple times and she is always immediately responsive. The house is full of thoughtful touches like soft blankets, extra supplies in the bathroom and signs to explain remote controls. She even remembered that I like cream for my tea and left me that in the fridge! Walking around the lake is beautiful in any season.

Very comfortable stay - convenient to ski wither Sugarbush or Mad River. Philip sent specific instructions for turning the heat up on arrival. It took a little while to warm up, but individual thermostats in LR and BR worked nicely. Local recommendations for restaurants and such were spot on.
